Can’t even activate a card…
Despite receiving a new card through the post yesterday, try to activate it and says ‘membership card not recognised’. Pointless app if you can’t even use it.

Its weird/alright
The original coop membership had a much simpler and overall better experience, this one I cant really understand
a) the need to be in any way different to coop memberships
b) offers aren’t selectable or choosable by us unless that’s whatever vouchers are (they just say check later without specifying).
c) the offers arent that good compared to the originals. No £1 off yours shop deals/ [….] amount of pennies of this company but rather kids plushies and they just show member prices which were only like a side on the other coop app.
d) just why be different? I know by im being a litte harsh and ive only used this for a day but the other app is doing well do why separate them. (Whilst reading this i realised i repeated (a). 😂)
e) and finally its not the clear, such as the vouchers; it just says coming soon, it doesn’t explain what they do like offers(just why?) and the just say “come back later” please add an explanation.
I know i was harsh but i wanted to express my opinions in a way that feels right. I have mixed opinions wether to give this three stars or two.

Always logs me out
Logs me out of the app and now I can’t get back in. Won’t accept my password which I haven’t changed and theres no option to reset password- useless

Rubbish company
I’ve try to apply for all the coop apps as I don’t know which one allows me to use which one in which shop. My current two wont work in my local shop 🙄. I can’t use same email or house details as it won’t let me , but it won’t accept the same log in details on all apps. Why can’t cooop be like Tesco , one card for one company

Frustrating if you are in a queue at a co op store and cannot scan your membership card
And then having to pay full price on shopping
Will stop going /avoid going to co op as a result

Continuously logs you out and won’t remember your login details
The ‘forgot password’ button doesn’t work
All in all poor, I am relying on a screenshot of the barcode to get members offers, haven’t been able to access the app in months

Terrible, needs a lot of work!
Every time you open the app it has logged you out and it then directs you somewhere else to log in, not useful when your stood at the till with a queue of people waiting behind you. This wouldn’t be a problem if the Apple wallet integration worked correctly but this functionality also doesn’t work, after every time of logging in and adding to Apple wallet it stays in your wallet for that time only, next time you open Apple wallet to use it is has disappeared and logged out of the app, again not useful when trying to pay, this also means I have lost out on member prices several times. Not as user friendly, intuitive or stable as other supermarket apps.

A little improvement, but long way to go
…It would seem that the logging in the app is more stable…but the app needs improving and proper organising! I have an issue since day one: logging in takes ages, randomly logging out… scanning of the card issues in shop, not registering any shopping/points whatsoever…

Can’t login on App
I can login to my account on my browser but the app won’t let me in through LOGIN or ACTIVATE.
That’s half an hour of my life I’m not getting back.
I can get in to my banking Apps easier than this. What a mess of an app.
Can’t share a login with my wife either.

Design Problem
The app is functional, albeit a little basic, but suffers from a serious design flaw. By definition an written for a mobile device needs to be able to cope with a flaky Internet connection. Unfortunately this app does not properly implement the required “briefcase” functional model and appears to insist on trying to “phone home“ every time the user carries out a simple action such as tapping on one of the buttons at the bottom of the screen. That would be ok if the host device has a solid network connection but inside my local (large) Central Co-op store there is next to no mobile data network signal and there does not appear to be any provision for customer Wi-Fi access. Therefore, even if the user makes sure to login to the app immediately prior to entering the store, by the time the user is at the checkout and needs to scan the membership card barcode, the app has either already logged out the user (and is then unable to login in again), or just selecting the card display tab causes the app to try to phone home (which it is unable to do) and it just hangs in the meantime… Naturally this leads to significant holdups at the checkout, especially if the customer has not had the foresight to bring their physical membership card along as backup!

A decent start
The app itself is fine. However, I mostly wanted to use it to load my card onto my apple wallet and currently there’s no way to do that. There is an “add to apple wallet” button, but it isn’t clickable.

Terrible
I’d give this app zero stars if i could. I’m already a member and pay for the blue co-op app but the store 5 miles up the road has the yellow do-op membership card. Have to pay again and re-register but it tells me my username already exists. Yes it does as I’m already a member so why make me pay again?? Get one central card and app!!

What membership
When you have to enter a membership card number to activate the app.. where would you obtain that ref from? The first few refs are greyed out, you then need to compete. How is this possible if you can’t move past this section lol?
Do I need to pick up a physical card or do I get mailed a card? It’s like the 1980s soo retro! Love it!

Unnecessarily confusing
Why there are multiple points cards and apps for the same store makes no sense. I keep getting told to get different apps and different cards then when I try to use them I’m told they are not correct.

Shockingly poor app
Save yourself a whole lot of pain and trouble and don’t bother with this app. It’s shockingly bad. Walk to the local Co-op, talk to the staff, and get some exercise. I’ve been trying to log in for an hour and still no joy. Another app consigned to the trash.

Registration process is ridiculous
I’ve registered for the app, verified with the code sent etc, upon initial registration was told my account already exists, then when trying to sign in using those credentials they weren’t recognised. Even tried with a different email address and exactly the same.
You advertise the lower prices around store but make it impossible for customers to get them.

Extremely poor…
Extremely poor App and customer service. You’re not able to do anything on the App whatsoever, not even load your card to your wallet. Oh and don’t reach out to the dreadful customer service either as they don’t want to know. I tried to call and ask them to find my old account I used to have where I’d get paid out cash payments back in the day, to reset my passport, they didn’t want to know only wanted to send me another card to charge me £1?? Immediately deleted and threw the card away. Makes me feel a certain way about using them at all now.

Doesn’t even recognise me
I downloaded this App as my card is not always in my pocket. When trying to register the App rejects my membership number !! That’s nice
My other complaint is why so many Coop Apps? Customers need a universal one acceptable anywhere in the country if the Coop are a truly national operator

App never opens in store due to poor network coverage. For some reason it was designed in a way that the card barcode isn’t stored locally, so no network = unable to scan card. Overall it genuinely one of the worst shopping apps I’ve ever used.

Plus it has a button to allow the card to go onto apple wallet but try clicking it and it does nothing..

Worst app I have ever had the misfortune to have downloaded. Buggy endless cycle of requests for password. Login sometimes completes but as soon as I tap anything the password thing starts all over again.

Seems very flaky
Managed to log in ok but when I clicked on the “Offers” option it got stuck in a loop with a “b2clogin” message asking me to click Continue, which I did about 10 times then gave up. Now I can’t log in at all.
