Great sum game for your brain

I have only been playing this for a couple of days, and I am really enjoying the experience. I play various games every day to help keep my brain going as my mobility is restricted ATM. This is my first math based one for a while. I prefer it to Suduko.

Mathematics...

No maths, people. Its just arithmetic. Pretty tedious really. Americans seem unaware of the distinction between simple Arithmetic and what they insist on referring to as "Math", making it a singular version of the noun that everywhere actual ENGLISH is spoken, is "Mathematics". Theres barely any difference in the levels. An extra level of dealing with fewer solutions in place, sometimes a simple backtrack over a couple of placement, you're done even in "expert" level. Too easy to be any real stretch.

Adverts make it unusable

Too many ads running for too long. As per prior review you don’t seem to be able to stop them either except by killing the program. Shame because otherwise it seems good. Debating whether to buy since it appears to have so many other in app purchases you wonder whether having bought the game you’ll be clobbered for more cash to actually use it!

Notice, turn off wifi before playing to avoid the adverts. otherwise a good game. Another update and another chance to have to manually disable over sixty cookies because there is no "reject all" as required by law.

More Adverts than Game

The game looks very good, and I wanted to have a few tries, to decide whether to purchase the ad free version. However, I have been unable to do this, since ads come up before and after every game. They stay on for so long, and the only way to get back to the game seems to be shutting it down and restarting. I appreciate that developers need advertising revenue, but there has to be a happy medium. Since I can’t play enough games to make a decision to buy without wasting so much time and patience on adverts, I have decided to delete it instead. That is a shame, as it showed great promise.

Energy hungry and caused problems with emails

I downloaded it then had problems with other apps, particularly with Mail. Emails wouldn't load and the Mail app kept on freezing/failing.

Is there a bug?

I only downloaded this a few days ago but there seem to be issues.

The game, when you finally get to it is fine, however, if you make the mistake of watching a video for 30 coins, afterwards you get stuck on a screen that just says ‘Claim Rewards - 30 coins’ (screenshot available) but doesn’t let you get back to the next game. I had to close the game and reopen, which meant I had to watch another ad before I could play another game. I wouldn’t expect to have to watch an ad before I even start - in between games is enough.

I’m willing to be generous and assume this is a bug that will be fixed, but if it is the way the game is designed then it is really not worth the time and hassle. I can do mental arithmetic in my own time or when shopping for free!

Really love this game! You can choose to watch videos for rewards or skip them so no pressure. You can also choose the difficulty so you don’t have to go through a pile of easy stuff if you want a challenge. The maths hurts my head on expert level but already I feel like my brain is expanding! Sorry to report this. But I just started my first game and right after an add then another. Videos, not at all what I want to see. No way of stopping them. Yuk. This is a maths game, to teach and expend your brain, so why?????? Suddenly loud video adds. Even if you have to make money for you game, this is not how it should be.

Charge for it? Don’t understand the coins thing. Just charge for it, add free.

Beware, I downloaded this because I saw an advert saying there were no adverts. They lied, there are adverts, plenty of them. When I contacted them about this they said there were ads saying ‘no ads’ and others saying ‘no annoying ads’. Love the puzzles

I enjoy doing the puzzles and had worked my way up the rankings to 103. The ads freeze the game a lot and you have to shut it down and restart it. I got so frustrated with it and accidentally selected new game instead of continue while playing the endless version and have now lost my original game. Deleted in minutes, too many long ads, can’t skip them

Downloaded this and tried to play. Had 3 or 4 games, which took 20, 30 seconds followed each time by an ad over a minute long, followed straight after by another ad. The developer will tell you that you can skip ads after 5 seconds which you can’t (have been able to in other apps but can’t in this one). Deleted it within 10 minutes. If you want to spend 5 times as long watching ads as actually playing the game you might be able to put up with it but it’s not for me.

Every time I complete the puzzle the ‘new puzzle’ takes me to a Solitaire card game ad. - that of itself would be ok, but it’s frozen - every time. Same ad, just frozen. All I can do is come out, wait a few hours then try again. Shame because it’s a good game.

Stuck in an ad loop!

I downloaded this game having seen it newly advertised in another game I play (Spider Solitaire). After one very brief view of a very much harder Maths crossword than the one shown in the ad, I tried the menus hoping to find an easier level.

It threw me straight into a very long protracted advert for a third game - Royal Flush or something similar - which I simply couldn't get out of! Very frustrating. Deleted this app off my phone, that's it!

And before you think I'm doing something wrong, I've been playing similar games on my phone for several years, so I do know how to close the usual ads.

Just another game that lies about not having ads

It’s a cool game and all but I downloaded this because the advert I saw for this specifically said it had no ads. I don’t mind playing a game with ads but don’t just lie to my face about it. There were literally ads in the first minute of play. I get they’re needed to make up revenue when the game is otherwise free but this is straight up false advertising. Other reviews complaining about this are from several years ago and were all responded to, so how is this still an issue?? I don’t mind games with ads but I wish they wouldn’t lie to my face about it. Seems like all mobile games are going this way these days with blatant lies. Like bro, if u just make a good game people will play it. Lying will just make them want to delete the game as soon as they see the truth and not even give it a chance. I’m so pleased I found this but you need complete concentration. You think you’re doing well until maybe the last two numbers left over, go red and won’t fit. Sometimes it takes a few minutes to figure out where you’ve gone wrong and I’m only on medium!!
