Mehmood Kebab

During our visit to Madinah after completing Hajj with my mother, we had the pleasure of dining at Mehmood Kebab, and it was truly an outstanding experience.

Alhamdulillah, we spent around 25 days in Saudi Arabia and visited many different restaurants, but this was by far the best one we found. The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors and exceptional quality. Every dish we tried was prepared perfectly and tasted amazing.

What made the experience even more memorable was the staff. They were incredibly cooperative, friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality made us feel genuinely valued as guests.

If you are visiting Madinah and looking for excellent food and wonderful service, I highly recommend Mehmood Kebab. It was one of the highlights of our stay, and we will definitely return whenever we visit again.

OMG….what an experience. I cannot find the words to describe the WOW factor of this flight. The moment we arrived at Sywell we were made to feel very special.

Bad and good

I am very pleased with the quality of this app but there are some things I’m very concerned about. I believe that when I ask for information I do not need extra and then I forget what I asked and I can’t find the information because it’s giving me loads more I do not need or did not ask for. It’s not only that it takes ages to load. Not because of my electronic, but because it is a slow even know the press makes it sound like such an amazing fast App, even though it’s really not I would like this to improve on my device is Google app so would like to reach out to me I’ll be very appreciated

Glitches

Since the most recent update my recent searches no longer come up in the search bar on the homepage on my iPhone and I can only see trending searches . I spent a couple of hours at least yesterday trying to find out what the problem is and to sort it out to no avail. Other people have had the same annoying issue and despite following all the recommended steps and checking all the settings nothing has worked to rectify the problem. My iPad still works fine as I didn’t update it to the latest software similarly you tube safari and chrome are all ok. PLEASE SORT IT OUT !!

Update on review. After trying all suggestions on how to rectify the issue all to no avail I eventually resorted to switching to Chrome instead however I still prefer the familiarity of Google so would periodically check to see if the issue was still occurring. Lo and behold a couple of weeks or so later I found that the issue had magically rectified itself and since then I have experienced no further issues. I am still mystified by the problem but I can only assume that a software update was both the cause and the eventual solution to the problem.

great but the AI

google is amazing obviously it’s great and has been used for ages but the only thing i have found wrong is the AI thing. of course i don’t expect it to be perfect because, of course, it is AI. but the AI can be incorrect about some things. i have googled stuff recently and found info from the AI that i have checked elsewhere and found out that it was not the correct info. but anyway its still good lol and i feel like most people have google or use safari now anyway so doesn’t really matter bye bye

Security prompts on phone I signed out of and reset

Trying to sign into my email I’m getting security prompts on a phone I haven’t used in years. Luckily I still have it and when I check, it’s not even signed into Google or even set up! It’s literally at the choose your language screen when I charged and turned it on and yet, Google is refusing to take it off my account. There’s a message that says “to stop getting security prompts, sign out of your device”…well how about signed out and factory reset you low IQ morons. This is exactly why I stopped using Google products. They’re designed to annoy. You need to login and check an important email and end up wasting half an hour trying to understand why their system wants to communicate with a phone that’s no longer signed into their services! I’ve now went 100% iCloud. Google is trash

AVA is a SUPERSTAR!!

We have been bringing our daughter’s car in to Stoneacre for service for 6 years and to be honest, the customer service on the check in desk has always been very poor, to the point of rude with very sullen, unhelpful staff.

This year has been the complete revelation. Ava met me with a smile when I took the car in. She provided regular updates over the 3 days that the car was with Stoneacre. She did what she said she was going to do with willingness, professionalism and care. She met me with a smile, was knowledgeable and kept me informed throughout the whole process.

Ava…..thank you. You have transformed Stoneacre for the better. Can we please, have a whole team of Ava’s?!?’ In fact, when we bring the car in next year, I’m going to make sure Ava is working that day!!! In my eyes you should be highly commended by Stoneacre for your outstanding customer service.

I too have had, terrible issues re:- Apple and, being fair o2 and Apple , assisted and supported myself, which had been a problem for, quite sometime. The AI was not, helpful! All I wanted to do was add my new card and, purchase, an app to clear up my email inbox , pay my bills, as my phone is the constant contact, with the outside world!! In saying all the above, o2 and Apple came together !

Google has lately been Sunday American links for companies who pressure us to create cookies

On my phone, Google comes up with links I might be interested in. I press a link curious only, but then find myself stuck unable to get out of the consent to cookies link without spending precious time (15 to 30minutes ) clicking the off buttons in the automatically consented advertising cookies. I can’t even get out at this stage and close the tab to get back to the google search page. I am trapped for the duration unless I press confirm selection. There is no reject all option.

In the past I will have given up and then had loads of ads as I read the article I was actually interested. Sometimes it’s so hard to read, I actually click off and never revisit. I am so tired of Google selling us short with these manipulative providers and will be less inclined to look at recommendations in the future. Google take

Not good.

In recent years with google becoming more AI inclined, I’ve found myself and others have been using google way less and less in favour of ChatGPT.

Google used to be an incredible tool and now, now I feel like I’m talking to a brick wall sometimes.

Having to verify my age was one thing even though all I was doing was trying to leave feedback on a search result that AI Overview got wrong, but AI Overview in general is terrible. “This is probably referring to this”, google has given me so many answers that have been wrong or not helpful because of the AI Overview, I don’t really bother with Google anymore. The only reason I use Google is to get my news, I would use ChatGPT but I’d have to ask ChatGPT to show me specific things, while Google over the past couple years has painstakingly curated a somewhat vaguely interesting little news section for me to look at, which I need to refresh every 20 seconds because most the news articles are not good. 1/30 news articles I’ll actually open and read.

By 2030, ChatGPT will have more search traffic than Google.

Stopped working

Sat using google as I usually do! All of a sudden my

Widget on my Home Screen goes white! Unable to figure out what’s happened I think if I delete it I can add it back? I delete it and there is no google search widget anymore on my iPhone 14! In my app library there is the single square app but there is no option when you long hold it to make into a widget! None of the internet suggestions work to fix it! Can’t get it back! Phone and app is up to date! As all my Phone is! No idea how to get it back I’ve never had this problem with it before! Too many notifications

Despite giving feedback to say that the news highlights I was being sent repeatedly throughout the day were not only annoying but also not helpful at all, I was still having them show up on my phone.

I’m not sure which algorithm in the app made it decide that reading about a very relevant plane crash that happened, meant that I want to receive updates for every airline ‘emergency’ that was happening around the world. I don’t think ANYONE would be interested in that, particularly people who already feel apprehensive about flying. I’ve deleted the app and will stick to safari for now.

Problem with location

I got no choice accept to rise my problem here. My business page Bhav’s Beauty has been suspended through google and I’ve lost all my reviews & recommendations and likes. I ended opening another business page but still when I post I can’t tag my business location. Any suggestions…why ? I have tried everything best of my knowledge. Facebook & instagram both doesn’t let me tag my location. When I search Bhav’s Beauty…..it doesn’t saw in Tividale, Birmingham,B69 1TL…Can I request you to short this issue out for me please?

Great for what I need

The song finder is really good. I found the name and artist of a song in a foreign language and from the 10 or so seconds I managed to pick up on an Instagram reel. I was even humming it and the band is not the most popular so I was very pleased to finally find it. Google is particularly good at this and I find it a lot better than music recognition apps that can’t even recognise a live version of a song even if it sounds pretty much the exact same as the original.

Thanks googol for helping me find what became my favourite song :)

Secondly, translator is great on the camera. I can translate text on a low quality monitor just fine from Japanese and Korean and all sorts of languages so has proven very helpful- can recommend

AI is ruining this app

Google is the standard app for searching. It works well and it gives you millions of results for practically any question you ask. You see my rating at the top and you think to yourself, where am I going with this? Well, everything been great- until Google added AI overview. When I used to search the definition of a word, it would give me a detailed answer that popped up on my screen when I searched a word. The definition was written by a real person. Now, Google has replaced that with AI overview! Why? I’m not sure at all. As far as I know, the definitions of words were all defined and written and now I can’t even see the human written version. I wouldn’t mind the AI as much if I could see the human version. But no, because AI has taken this feature over and it is very intrusive- it’s the first thing that pops up on my screen. I also think it was an unnecessary update to add the AI overview as it is wasteful. Google overran perfectly fine definitions of words with a substitute which does more harm than good- AI uses so much electricity and resources that it’s adding to our already large scale world crisis. Google, this update was so unnecessary and I feel as though you are being too LAZY to give us a normal response to the questions we ask in the search bar.

Please help me!!!

So basically I need help. I got locked out my account I use which I use for school and has all my parents’ work data. Like it’s vital that we have this account. But I got locked out because I forgot the password and I only had a single step verification so I’m basically locked out. I’ve tried everything. I tried every password combination, contacting Google. And I’m using the device I literally MADE the account on. It’s crucial we keep this account but I can’t find or find out the password. What do I do? I’ve done everything. Like this account has all the data and information my parents own and none of us remember the password. There’s no account linked to it, there’s my dad’s old phone number which is , I think, linked on the account but again, none of us remember it. That’s the only security the account has. If there’s some other possible way I could verify it’s my account to reset the password, I will. Like for example I have a devplay account linked onto this Google email address.

It’s a magical miracle machine !! It never fails me. I must ‘Google’ at least 30 times a day. I visualise this little old man, swimming through an encyclopaedia looking for the answer to my question. Well you may laugh … but that’s precisely what I had to do when I was a teenager. I’d have encyclopaedias and dictionaries on my desk and spend hours v xxx ompleting my school homework. I have an idea

You should make a Google kids, like a Google where it tells you stuff based on you’re ages, like if you’re under 13 it will tell you Santa real, Easter bunny’s, etc and not allow any shady websites so they don’t end up getting their childhood ruined, day I child got curious and searched “Is Santa real” normally the app shows up “no” and stuff but if you made a google kids, it would say “yes” and have stuff based on the child’s age with info that can help them and make their beliefs of stuff like that last a little longer cause ik a lot of ppls childhood felt ruined for searching something they regret, I just think this would be a good idea, please do make an app like this it would be great!

I worked for Google as videographer for a video production company in London called Tailored Media. We filmed success stories of users around the world benefiting from using Google tools to help them grow their business and thrive. Impressive UI and interesting features that no other browser has. The fact you can identify photos using ai is amazing. However when using Gemini ai It doesn’t really catch on to what I’m trying to say like for example “how much caffeine does latte cappuccino have” then it tells me the answer which is correct of course but when I follow up with “Is it okay to drink 3 cups a day” - (Example), then it says something like “3 cups of what” like in that sense not exactly how I said it but a more detailed answer of “3 cups of what” basically. You have to remind Gemini ai constantly of the same question you had cuz then it answers something else you didn’t ask. But it’s really cool still, I love the ai features and I love gemini ai I think it’s pretty awesome I know it’s gonna get better as time go on. But that’s why I put 4 stars.

The Joys of Google

This is a very useful tool that is informative and flexible in approach. It is tempting to turn to Google when formerly we might have delved into an encyclopaedia.

As I live in an isolated rural situation, our local libraries have limited opening hours; thus Google can fill a cap on frequent occasions, leaving the reader free to gain additional knowledge when time and opportunity permit.

Google is a very useful facility; it would seem crucial to try to back up and verify information in order not to be totally dependent on Google.

What can I say?

Google is now a necessary part of my everyday life. But at what cost? I am constantly bombarded by irrelevant, unwanted and at time embarrassing ads. No matter how often I close/reject them they pop up continuously. It’s ruinous of the browsing experience.

My other concern is google’s presentation of suggested ’news’ items. Although I try to control the suggested articles they remain random, often unwanted and sometimes offensive. Most of the time it’s boring, sometimes frustrating and all of the time unnecessary. My life is devalued by this dreary torrent of nonsense as a result.

Google is a reservoir of knowledge one can confidently refer to for understanding, clarification and a liberation of good standing. What an indispensable asset for those who seek freedom through knowledge which is the climax of the life we would ever live. I urge people everywhere to help themselves with this great value that is open to all people. I am greatly improved by it and my life is more freer and could not be any happier. Disappointing as of late

Over the past 2 years the news feed part of this app has become a random social media feed. I can no longer add interests or follow searches to tailor content to what I want to see. I will no longer be using it. The search is good for quick, brief queries but when used to look at topics in more depth you quickly realise the results are not prioritised by relevancy but by the most popular sites that get the most clicks. Meaning results are flooded with hardly relevant sites with titles like: “10 ways to do X” or “5 things you didn’t know about Y” etc which aren’t helpful and I find myself needing to switch to an actual browser for better results more and more frequently. It’s not too late for Google to save this app and turn it back into the useful tool it was but I fear their priorities have changed due to increased ad revenue and income potential from skewing the search results to favor the highest bidder. I’m 25 now and have used this app since I was about 14. It was always the first app I installed on every phone I’ve ever owned. Its helped me so much throughout the years. And I know its just an app at the end of the day, so this is probably silly but it’s frustrating and sad to see it devolve into what it has. Please turn this app back into the useful “unbiased” search tool it used to be.

A magical wonder

I don’t know what I would do without Google it is so amazing at the touch of one button you’ve got the world at your fingertips. It’s absolutely and truly amazing this site as I say I just don’t know what I do without it. I Don’t know anybody, and I mean anybody that doesn’t go on it, so if you’re one of those that’s never been on Google don’t knock it till you try it it finds anything for you literally anything bless you long may Google reign.

Google is good

Y never know when you need to have a small map check on google maps or you can search up “Italian restaurants in ???” Google is very good any type of google like google map google universe but google should always have the details on your stuff cuz why is everyone using google HMM EXACLY google is a non scamming worldwide website for people who need some extra advise on food places directions anything ya need google has it but sometimes google doesn’t know like how to be immortal so it doesn’t know everything so it is good for anything ya need so it’s a 10/10 for me

Laggy, buggy, Lens works half the time

What’s happening at Google? You used to be at the top of your game. Not anymore. It’s been years since this app grew to be laggy. The Lens features rarely load in a timely manner. Sometimes I select a photo to analyze with Lens and it doesn’t even respond to the selection gesture. Now, the search bar doesn’t even show at the top! I have to quit the app and reopen it.

Terrible. I almost feel sorry for you. Inexcusable complacency.

And guess what? My phone is an iPhone 14 Pro Max, a flagship model from 2022.

Ruined by Gemini

Ever since Gemini has been pushed to users via the Google iOS app, the user experience has decreased massively. Presumably by designer choice, the Gemini search icon loads a few seconds before the Google Search icon. This may seem minor, however when you use Google up to a hundred times a day, there will be countless times where the Gemini icon loads first, and you click that instead of the Google search bar. This results in a lengthy interaction where you decline all of Gemini’s features before being allowed to Google search.

It appears Google’s ardent pushing of their new AI has destroyed this app and made it unusable. I recommend alternatives such as Safari, or DuckDuckGo

Google Pages No Longer Fit IPhone Screen.

When I search for something on Google instead of the article covering the entire screen area, now the article displays only 90% of the screen. The upper 10% shows the top portion of the Google home page. I tried dragging the grey horizontal bar at top of the article page - it only works to minimize the article, and not to expand it back beyond the 90% threshold. How do I get selected articles back to displaying on 100% of the screen. I’ve not changed any settings on my iPhone so has one of the updates caused this issue? I can’t find anything that has changed in my phones settings so not sure what has caused this issue.

Very disappointed

Perhaps it was me but I was so looking forward to eating at the yacht club but I was so disappointed. Now in it’s defence the venue is lovely nice and clean with good loo’s. But the food was poor in both its quality and presentation.

My first disappointment was that they were on a revised menu with very little hot food, so it was baps all round. As a child of the 60’s It doesn’t get much better than a ‘Luxury Fish finger bap, oh how wrong I was. Firstly it looked like a piece of ‘yesterday’s cod that was getting a recycle. It was dry and tasteless, captain BirdsEye would be spinning in his grave to have his product associated with this dry and tasteless offering.

It’s great!

So Google is an ordinary search bar app which you can search things up but one problem is the Google accounts you can create many but you can’t delete it so that’s a problem for people who don’t want it and don’t know or want to add a account but this is a great app, just that. Google is a massive company followed by Apple but Google has better quality than Apple but has bigger but less problems so I would love to be able to delete accounts, and I’m not complaining but I would like it fixed. Thank you so much x

Great client, too much poor quality ads

For months I’ve been bombarded with fraud in-app adds that look like an email from my bank. The ad was very well done, they tailored it both to my bank and my nationality. Thanks google for selling this data to scammers and consistently showing it in my inbox regardless of my reports.

Today I found that not just the top 2 positions of the inbox are reserved to ads, but another ad has been added on every for 7th email in my inbox. It’s making the scam to hard to fight - it is reappearing instantly after being reported in a slightly different shape.

This is too much and I’m moving to a different email client. It’s a shame because with no ads this is a perfect email client I would consider paying for.

Good but buggy

I always use this app to calculate all my trips but since I changed my phone to iPhone, the app keeps closing the app and I have to restart my trip a lot of times. Also, when I’m already in the trip (over bus, overground, tram, car, bike or whatever) it doesn’t recognize if I started or not the trip, so it starts recommending new options as “I didn’t get into the bus/car/whatever” yet. Which is very annoying.

On the other hand, is nice to be able to know the exact time the transport will arrive with an amazing accuracy. Thank you Google for that.

I’m not sure.

I'd like to say that Google is a great, amazing app to browse in and search for advice; however, it's not very safe. It’s not safe because it shows all your recent searches, shows leaked stuff people have added and it doesn't let you delete personal stuff about you. Here is one of my issues on google, I've made accounts on social media and they are all on the public. Strangely, but stupidly, I've got the accounts to be on Google. I tried everything to get rid of it; but, nothing has worked. I've searched online about it and all that comes up is ‘use webmaster’ or ‘contact google’. The problem with this is that I have no clue how to contact google and when I use webmaster it asks for a URL, I gave them the URL and it non stops asking to redo. If this has ever happened to you please reply (if possible) and tell me how, Thank you.

Used to love it

I used to love this app, now I don’t. I don’t like the new tabs feature, and I don’t like how the theme is set to your phones dark or light mode. There are some apps I like in dark mode and some I like in light mode and I don’t like nothing able to choose which I use. I can change it in the gmail app, why can’t I change it in this?

Edit:since writing this review, nothing has changed with the google app. The gmail app however forced dark or light theme so that has been deleted and replaced with Spark. The google app however seems to have shrank the back bottom on the bottom left of the screen, and the home button. I can’t press these buttons anymore. It’s extremely annoying. Please let someone with fingers bigger than a 4 year olds do some testing on your apps.

Google Salvaged Robinhood’s one star rating

OMG! I don’t know where to start. I wont be able to say I like democracy anymore. The reason why in this review I have political views. It’s Because just absurd what happened. What Robinhood did on 28th January 2021 and the government allows them. They blocked our stocks on different trading platforms(spread betting also wasn’t allowed) on behalf of Wall Street. In here Robinhood did what they did just because big Wall Street wolfs and big Institutions asked them to do. Regulators are protecting there own wealth. They Got scared. Wall Street regulators are complete thieves who has control over all these small tradings companies with small retail investors and amateurs. They just know how to take money but doesn’t allow to earn regular people. Plus google deleted Robinhood reviews. All TV and u.s news talking about Reddit mob. When google actually is the mob themselves acting against people’s reviews which mirrors Wall Street hedge fund managers behavior and their control over our trading system. When reviews has to be sometimes negative sometimes positive thats the reason why we write review for others. The same thing is in stock market sometimes you win sometimes you lose. Wall Street lost this time and they blocked retail investors from stock market so they couldn’t lose more money and this led to many angry people. This is extreme capitalism. This country has club of rich dictators. Not definitely democrats. Most people know that Wall Street is money laundering machine but when rich guys who are dependent on this machine start to cry and then take coward moves. Not only allowing people trade their stocks but trying to shame them like retail investors are bullies while themselves cashing in billions every year. Hedge fund managers today took people’s money front of everyone’s eyes. And government did nothing. Its like its not our problem. No wonder people on other side call western countries a capitalists who think only about money and nothing else and are driven by greed only. The same people turned word greed flipped that to something good. When greed actually is greed and nothing else. Wall Street is perfect example.

Disable tabs?

Coming from a Pixel 3 to iPhone I was expecting the search app to be basically that - search (with Google newsfeed as the home), and if I wanted to browse with tabs I’d fire up Chrome. Search history kept as usual.

But this seems to be a bit of both, where each search is retained as a tab so if you want to do a quick search irrespective of what you searched for last time you may have tabs to clear down first as it tried to behave like a full browser. Minimum tab age is a day so that’s not much of a workaround. Kinda typical Google really with overlapping products, each trampling on the others toes. Meets vs Hangouts vs Duo and so on.

Google Search Engine App Was My Go To For Years! But Since 2018, it’s Been Unstable, and I Hardly Dare Use it Now!

It Kept My Last Text Msg, WhatsApp Msg and Messenger Msg On Top Of My Screen Each Time I Tried Google Search Afterwards, Whether Using Immediately After or Later That Day, Twice I Swiped The Msg Away, On The 3rd Swipe, it Didn’t Go Away, But Jumped Straight Into the Google Search Box and My Personal Private Msg Became a Public Search Instead,

So I Deleted it, But Missed SendingGoogle eCard GIF Msgs, So I Went Back After 2 Years Of Not Using and Sadly, The Problem Still Remains,

NOW WHENEVER I Try To Use Google Search Engine,

My Phone Picks Up VIRUSES and I Have To DELETE The App and DO MULTIPLE VIRUS SCAND ON MY IPHONE,

REALLY GOOGLE, THIS IS JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH! PLS FIX THIS ASAP?

OTHERWISE YOU'LL BE LOSING MANY CUSTOMERS TO OTHER COMPANIES AND SEARCH ENGINES!!!

Issues all day

Usually have no issues with google search... ok I have the odd slow moments where it takes forever to load, but today as soon as I open the app it freezes on a white screen saying “google” no search bar - nothing! My whole screen freezes and I can’t even exit the app without turning my phone off! All

Other apps work fine, no freezing or messing up my phone, but again I try google, and I get a white screen saying google and then “hey presto” my screen knacks up again and I have to reboot my phone to get it to work! No happy! Going to delete and use alternate search engine/browser I think, although gutted as I really didn’t have any issues that bothered me so much before this!

Needs return of axed feature....

I enjoy using the Google app for accessing my news feed on my iPhone 6S Plus handset but Google has removed its best feature - being able to directly share a Newsfeed item using the hotdog rather than having to go INTO the article and sharing it from within the article.

More often than not, we hear news throughout the day so we are aware of Newsfeed content simply by reading the headline on the feed, so there is no real need to re-read content to be able to share an article directly from the feed.

Please, please, PLEASE Google, restore the share from hotdog feature in the next update to the Google app because it is so badly missed and its removal does NOTHING to enhance the appeal of the app whatsoever IMHO.
