Of course all this information is available elsewhere on the Internet, but Factbook brings together all the most important data about every country in the world in one simple, accessible and well formatted app. A brilliant resource which is kept up to date.

Some great facts!
I thoroughly enjoy this app - currently travelling around Asia and loving finding out a but about each country as I go! I like how it shows the ranks of each country for its statistics as well, but maybe some more indicative stats would be useful? Such as figures expressed as a percentage of total population for example... Overall though, I like it.

I'm a geography student and this has got a lot of interesting facts which are very useful for just a bit o fun reading or if you need some speedy facts! I would like to see more weather and climate data incorporated into maps, and maybe geology maps as well, to make it even better.

Important app
This is an excellent resource guide to all things about all countries in the world. Population, religions, literacy rates, major diseases, flags, maps, country rankings etc. are all here. This is a great and important resource material to have.

Absolutely Fantastic App
This app is so useful, interesting and is absolutely amazing. But i think the UI needs to be more friendly and slick. A list of lists would be good too (so you can search for, say, "China" and "Population Density" for a list of countries by population density).
Adding the lists and improving the UI to make it slicker and cooler would definitely make this a 5-star app.

Of course, it has the capital city (along with its geograpical coordinates, time difference etc.) See it under Government -> Capital
I don't know what else could be added. It is very complete. I am thrilled with the country ranking feature for sections like Carbon dioxide emission, electricity from renewable sources, life expectancy, healty expeditures etc.

The map on this map is ridiculous, I've only looked at the Northern Ireland bit, completely rubbish for that part.
But I like being able to learn about the history behind flags

It would be brilliant if you could get them in! They seem more useful than info on broad money stocks…

Big thumbs up!
Very useful and well made app! Current government info, which side of the road people drive on(!!!), geographical information, economic stuff, calling codes, age demographics etc. are all there. Transnational issues section is especially interesting(at least for me). The flag view with the flag description is wonderful and interesting. I love flags. Well made app, don't hesitate to buy this. For 59p it is a bargain.

Great
A previous reviewer has complained about the lack of world map and country rank feature. That't not true! This app has an offline world map that can be scrolled and zoomed from continent level down to city level. It also has rank order and country comparison feature.
Anyways, it's a great app for those who travel globally or those who just want to learn more! No internet connection required, updated constantly.Very accurate. I love it! Keep up the good work.

Needs retina display Reference MAPS
Needs reference maps of each of the 7 continents and and a big world Map too. Time zones would be perfect. Im saying this as others have all of the above. But the interface is better on this app. Also a rank order or comparison data againt other countries would be great too. Then it would be a straight 5 star.

Good source of information
A good source of information but some facts are tailored to be biased for some countries. Some of the information is inaccurate but overall a good generic reference point with well designed user interface.
