Have you ever needed to randomly pick names out of a hat and not have the necessary materials to do so? I've heard the scenario all too many times. You have the names, but what about a hat? There's not a fedora in sight. Your sleepless nights are about to end!
Introducing the "Names in a Hat" application - just the tool you need to pick random names out of a hat.

What's New in Version 4.1

Two minor bug fixes:
* When drawing names in Secret Santa mode and you click the “Selected X of Y” button, you’ll no longer see picks that haven’t happened yet.
* The “Select X of Y” text is updated when you click the “Finish” button to quickly pick all the names.

Great app!

Great app! I run a smallish youtube channel and use this application to host giveaways for my subscribers. You manually enter the names of all the people and it randomly selects a winner. There is no (from what i have seen) limit as to how many people can be entered into one draw either which is wonderful!

Doesn't work

Not sure what's wrong, but other than setting up a list of names it doesn't do anything else🙈

Needs improving!!

This app is ok!! There's a lot more they could do to simplify it and a few more features they could add!! Then it'd be worth paying for .... Until then it should be free!!

A great app and a must have!

This is a nifty little app! It's great for parties and is actually much quicker than using pen and paper! I can see a few places where the ux can be improved but keep going, you're on the right track! -@real_ate

Good, but..

Its a good app, works for lots of reasons, but i cant seem to find an edit.. I put a name in incorrectly and cant change it. Hmmm.

Don't bother, it crashes

Waste of money. Used to work fine, then you download an update, now it crashes every time you use the standard option. If you want to pick teams then go for it. If, like me, you don't; DO NOT BUY!

Great for xmas presents too (who gets to pick from the tree next)

To get tap mode go into settings on your ipod / iphone you will see the application in the list and select tap- on . great little app though

Very useful

Great for picking teams in sport only thing is I don't know how to change to tap selection
