My favourite IPhone game
I’ve been playing Pocket Tanks for years now, and I love it.
The vast variety of weapons and novel mechanics makes replay-ability a strong positive for the game, and to see that Pocket Tanks is still being supported after all these years is a great perk.
Honestly, all I want to see are even more wacky weapons, and maybe some new maps - even just some new colours for the traditional map - I think the darkness of the background can be a nuisance at times, but I’ll live with it.

Good but..
I love this game but have a few suggestions. More variability with bigger maps and bigger explosions and kick as well as tanks that can fire with more power to suit the larger maps. Also multiplayer is a great addition but multiplayer with more than 2 players would be even better as you would then need to use strategy to shoot at the tank with the most points. Another mode would also be good whereby it's target practice but with multiple tanks rather than just one as you could then be able to aim at the different tanks. Also an option to change the order in which weapons are put would be good, such as alphabetical order of maximum damage capability.

Great game
Great game, lots of fun. Only issue is I can never connect using Wifi lobby for a local game, very frustrating. Would give 5 stars if Wifi lobby worked.

Awesome game
One of the best games on the iPhone. I have been playing this game for years & still it never fails to entertain me. Awesome game guys keep up the good work. Although I would like to see some new weapon packs made available please. Maybe some free packs & payable. I would be willing to buy another 10 weapon packs from you! Also it would be great to chat to your opponent? I think it's a good idea !! Keep up the good work

12 Years worth of fun
I first found pocket tanks at school when I was about 14. I am now 26 and I am so glad this turned into an app. I have all the extra weapon packs. Wish there was more! Such a good game. Years worth of memories!

Fun game
Addictive as a lot are but levels on iPad and iPhone are different difficulty levels. Set level 5 and iPads easier for example than iPhone version. Anyway it's fun.

Awesome Game
This is a brilliant game, retro graphics, accurate physics/weapons-play and a crazy selection of weapons...
I've played this game since it came out and the recent online update I thought would make it truly epic. But then I realised n one else plays - so the online function is useless.
Why don't more people play this superb game?!?!?!

Had this game on my old Nokia back in the day, so had to buy this.
They have improved it so much, really addictive, very simple with loads of weapons. Lots of fun. My favourite app by far! Please keep updating it! Thanks

Been a fan of this game since playing it 10 years ago on Windows XP. I very much appreciate the modern update to such a classic game, including new weapons (I don't know how you guys come up with so many), and retina/iPhone 5 support. Thank you Blitwise! This has made my day.

A PC classic back on the iPad
I loved playing the full PC version when I was little against my dad. Seeing this here was an instant buy, and I am happy to pay a little more for the weapon packs.
It'd be awesome to have wireless/bluetooth 2 player (like everyone else), but I think that the developer is no longer updating this.

Brilliant
I love this game and I'm unbelievably addicted to it! However I do think on top of paying £3 for the app (which was well worth it, don't get me wrong) its a bit steep to have to pay 69p for each weapon pack. If it was 69p for weapon pack bundles or an option to buy all the weapon packs in one for something like £4.99 I'd probably be more tempted to. Super game though, deserved 5 stars :)

A few tiny suggestions...
I love this game and have been playing it for some time. It's almost flawless but for a couple things. First, could the developers please write an update which allows for completely uninterrupted iTunes use. Second, quit making us pay for weapon packs. Come on guys, not cool.

Tanks a lot!
An absolutely fantastic game I've loved since I played it on the PC. Annoying though that I've purchased the game and I need to pay more for additional weapons. Kinda makes me feel annoyed towards the creators. If we pay for a game we shouldn't have to pay several times for more updates, it kinda defeats the purpose of buying the full version.

Sound issue
I love this game, been playing it on the iPhone for at least 5 years. However since the last update I have lost all the in game sounds!!! Please get this sorted because I have purchased all the extra weapon packs and would hate to just scrap it off my phone

You could release more weapon packs or map variants. And maybe a nee 4 person game mode or Bluetooth capture the flag.

More weapons, Different terrain, Different tanks...
Please in the next update add more weapons, new/ larger terrains, maybe different style tanks? Multiplayer over the internet would be awesome. Im getting bored of this great game it needs updating, and as for the computer difficulty, level 10 isnt so hard anymore!!

Good game, same as Mac version
This is a good game, and I have the Mac version too. My daughter also has this game on her phone, and it would be great if there was an option for us to play each other on our own phones (network/bluetooth), rather than a 2-player game on one phone.

Bloody great game. I don't know why people are complaining about difficult AI when it's not difficult at all, just challenging. If it's too 'hard' go on an easier difficulty >< Also you can change the landscape easily in options. Just not the background or type of land. I agree with the whole back button argument. But it hardly takes time to restart the app, still yes a back button would help. Online would also be a very nice add on to the game. Overall the only fault I can find is the back button. Great app and good work. I look forward to further updates, perhaps more weps or online =]

Best ever but needs update
Undoubtably one of the best games on apps store. Would love to see update for more weapons (all PC weapons) and 2 player using internet. Maybe create a pocket tanks account and keep record of our wins and loses and total damage given/received etc.

Needs Updates Then 5*
I've been playing pocket tanks for years now and the one thing thats always frustrated me is that there is no back button after you have selected 1 player or after the difficulty, pretty much after anything which means you have to re-launch the app every time.
Also I've paid £2.99 why are not all 190 weapons that you get with the PC version available on this version?? I know you get more than the free version but it doesn't seem worth paying the £2.99 as it's not any different you just get a few more weapons which isn't worth the £2.99 you pay!
Last thing, i would love this game to be online as a few of my friends have it and i can only play against them in the 2 player mode which means they have to be sitting next to me! All of this could be accomplished by a simple update please update then this would be worthy to receive 5* and then it would be worth £2.99.

this app is the best!!! Everyday I'm on the bus I'm playing this with friends. the only thing I want to change is more scenary and makeable landscapes. minor things to consider I think are multicoloured tanks :p, 4 players, and even more weapons if possible. other than that, best app on my iPod and I have a lot of apps!

Not like the pc game, or even interesting in its own way, get ishoot instead...
This game is a joke, 2.99 for only fighting against one tank, limited weapons, cant apply your own settings, only one landscape, its terrible. Only reasons its two stars is because at least its possible to have a fight. Buy ishoot way more featres for only a quid this is a rip off, a game you buy then throw away a minute later...

This game is absolutely great I would recomend it immediately but one thing, I have played the pc version and there is a lot more weapon: most of which are better than the ones on the app. I was wondering if you could have alot more weapons some how. But still an awesome game.

One thing that could make it even more perfect: a mode that allows to use weapons more times like practice mode does. Or a score based mode where you have to reach a certain amount o points and not 10 rounds...

Highly addictive. Great gameplay. Needs a v3.0 update tho as some of the rendering is off since the iPhone software update. Once that's in place, it's a five star must-have game.

I've played this on and off for years on the numerous Macs I've owned and to see it here filled me with joy! It's like it was written especially for the iPhone as it plays even better than the desktop version.

Finally a great turn based game which doesn't use accellerometer control.
Simple concept, but with stylish graphics, a huge range of weapons and great sound, this is a perfect game for the morning commute.

Another negative point of view...
Why, why, WHY does this game zoom in & pan from side to side when you take a shot & not let you view the entire scene? Why?
So frustrating, when everything else is better than iShoot, that I don't even want to play this anymore!

FINALLY..... my iPhone is complete!!
Finally, Pocket Tanks comes to the portable formats!!! It's probably one of the greatest games I've ever played because of it's simple control, simple format and that "just one more go" aspect that makes you just want to keep playing!

This is a cool tank firing game, so many weapons of choice n will proberly have a hell lot more with updates. However, with the game scorched tanks on the commodore amiga you used to get shields you could buy so I hope they add that. Only other game that compares to this is ishoot with it's nice backgrounds n online play but doesn't have as many weapons.

Brilliantly addictive
Used to play this all the time on the pc. It's ported across really well. Simple, addictive loads of weapons and great fun in 2 player mode.
