my 2 year old loved this app especially the photo bit. however I updated it so he could get the Xmas bits and now it won't even open the app, he doesn't understand why it won't work now and gets annoyed!!

***** 6 GAME MODES *****
1. LETTERS. Giraffe will ask you to find the letters in the jungle grass. Can you find them? Offers two levels of difficulty to cover a wide age-range of little learners.
2. NUMBERS. A fun way to learn your numbers! Choose numbers that go up to 10 or 20. Junior Explorers can have the clue shown (helps learn the numbers, and promotes memorization), while Ace Adventurers will have the clue spoken-only for an advanced challenge.
3. ALPHABET SONG. Tap to advance the notes and sing the alphabet song along with Giraffe! For an added challenge, turn on the bongos and play along with the beat!
4. BIG SAFARI. Can you find the animal and place it in the net? Use your finger to drag or flick the animals. Can you beat your high score?
5. ANIMALS. Your kids will have a blast finding the animals and hearing the funny sounds!
6. PHOTO PLAYGROUND. Choose your background and arrange wildlife, comical hats, food, shrubs, and more! Have the perfect composition? Email a photo to a loved one!

Fantastic app
I bought this app (to keep my daughter quiet on car journeys and such like!) some time a go. I have to say it has been fantastic, she loves the games and they keep her occupied for a good amoutn of time. Also, the 'monkey got away' song is great, she absolutely loves it and will happily listen to it several times in a row, often opening the application just to listen to the song. This could be really annoying, but it's actually a really good song, so we don't mind at all.

The only game my 1-year-old enjoys
From the music to the games (especially Photo Playground) this is a fabulous kids app. My one-year-old daughter loves it. It is cleverly thought out, extremely slickly produced and highly addictive.

Not quite right
There is no reason this shouldn't be a five star game if a few of the niggles mentioned by other reviewers are addressed at the moment it falls short due to repetitive game play with no feeling of achievement which unfortunately meant my two year old lost interest after only ten minutes. Id however recommend that people give this title a chance so they can develop it further.

We love this game. It is the only thing that keeps our son entertained for more than 5 minutes. Very educational with good graphics and colours.

I bought this for my nearly 3yr old and he does enjoy it, although it is a little repetitive. Easy to use though.

Great graphics but...
My toddler started with the find the letter game and it just went on and on till he got bored - there really needs to be a break after say 10 letters for the child to earn a sticker (see Monkey Lunch Box) or at least some reward music or sound effect. And there needs to be an option for UK letter pronunciation.

Camera function rocks!
My 4 yr old daughter loves it, especially the camera game - she really enjoys being able to show her Dad and others what pictures she has created! We get to keep them, show them off and enjoy them without cluttering up the fridge door!

Almost a 5 star game!
My daughter loves this. Beautiful graphics, good music. It would be a 5 star app if there were rewards and/or some sort of score element.
Would be lovely (but not vital) to have a British English setting so zee becomes zed too.

Kids love it...
I have 2 girls aged 2 and 5, both get different things out of game. Only reccomendation I have is a "reward" After say 5 or 10 correct answers (like on some similar games). This gives points to aim for achievement markers. Otherwise could go on for ever.

Sound stopped working
After the third time playing the sound stopped working.son very upset about this as he enjoyed the alphabet song. Don't buy. Not at least till they fix this
