AMAZING APP I’m not sure why the reviews are low.

Amazing app! you can listen to most country’s ATC’s. However you can’t listen to ANY in England‼️ i still think this app is worth it as I love tracking the planes awhile listening to Dublin or Orlando ATC. I would 100% recommend for the price, don’t regret this purchase a single bit.

Love this app.

I have used this app for many years and it’s the best by far.

I live in the UK and I know this app cannot stream UK frequencies because it is against the Law to listen to Airband here but I listen to USA stations

But if only potential buyers read what Dave has stated from the outset.

No point giving negative feedback about no coverage for UK, when he specifically states this.

So, Dave IS NOT to blame if you part with your money but did not read his notices prior to doing so. Your fault, not Dave’s.

Great work Dave. Keep up the excellent work :)

I have never picked up one solitary stream from this App. It says “streaming error” on every single frequency. I have a fully up to date iPad 2018 Pro using ax200 mbps wi fi signal in the UK.

Loving this app works great with Flightradar24. you can have them both on at once and flow the plane right into the airport and on the ground. It’s crystal clear no need to squelch. Quick between frequency. It’s just a shame England,Wales and Scotland are not available. So it’s back to the CB radio for them.

Great for PPL students

Just started flying lessons. Hadn't a clue what was being said over the radio at the start. This app means I can listen to ATC anywhere or any time so that I get used to calls. At home I can look at a picture of the airport to fully understand the turn points and runways.

It works when iPhone connected to car usb port so have in on whilst driving. (Safety note: it needs concentration so decide for yourself if listening as you drive is safe for you)

Constant buffering

I've set the buffer to high but still it freezes and pauses whilst buffering even though my mobile and home internet is fine, other programs run well such as the Police Scanner, etc. Shame there's no UK feeds but blame the dated UK laws for that, but Dublin is near and good enough :)

Really good app - For the people giving it 1 star because it doesn't offer UK coverage. UK coverage has been illegal since WW2 - Not the apps fault!

Good app

Great for enthusiasts, shame about no UK airports but that's due to our silly laws, can listen to a lot of US airports. Only problem is getting to grips with the Americans speaking at 30,000 words per second

Great app. Works really well. Shame it hasn't got U.K. Airports on. It's an old law about broadcasting and they can't break it. Not the makers fault. App does what it's meant to so no need for bad reviews.

Good for idle listening

A very good app for those times you just want something to listen to or waste a half hour or so. Very good coverage and good quality feeds. I particularly like the feature for listening to the HF Aeronautical bands with NATO tracks and Oceanic clearance etc. as not everyone has HF radios and antenna systems.

Remember you may not be able to listen to UK frequencies (buy a scanner) but can listen to UK flights as they leave or arrive foreign shores.

Stuck for where to listen? Easy. Just check out the top 50 feeds.

Interesting app

It is a pity it does not cover UK but as an app where you can listen all round the world to what is happening from the cockpit to the control tower it is well worth 5 stars.

It allowed me to listen to my son's plane take off from Orlando so I was able to organise my time to pick him up from the airport. The flight was delayed for 77 minutes which meant I did not have to get up at 04:00. The flight status at Orlando & Birmingham did not show what was happening but liveatc in the background allowed me real time update. If I never use the app again, £1.99 allowed me an extra 2 hours in bed and reduced charges at the airport car part .... Exceptionally cheap and worth it.

Excellent app!!

This is a great app - an excellent partner to PlaneFinder HD. To all those suing no uk feeds, I respect your opinion, but suggest you do slightly more research before posting a 1 star review for such an excellent app. For those who can't be bothered, a law in the uk, passed during world war two, states basically that if a radio feed isn't intended for you specifically to hear, then you shouldn't hear it. So taking that in the account there is nothing that liveatc can do bout it - so 5 stars for an excellent app from me! Well done!

Brilliant App!! BUT NO ATC IN THE UK (except Ireland)

It is an excellent app especially for the flight simulator or aircraft enthusiast, or just for anyone curious as to what goes on at an airport! Only downside is that there is NO ATC AVAILABLE IN THE UK (except Ireland) this is because of some law in the UK from 1942 which does not allow you to have a reciever for any of the emergency services, or aircraft communication. This isnt the app's fault, but hopefully someday this law will be lifted. Great App!!!

Super ap

This is a great ap I'd used the actual web version before and was so glad when this ap showed up,to those who keep going on about UK airports sadly it's not going to happen unless the law changes as it is against the law to re-broadcast UK ATC transmissions but it's not against the law just to listen to UK ATC via a scanner me like 1000's of other aviation enthusiasts stand at airports using such equipment so the other reviewer was wrong about that part, my fav channels on this ap are zürich/Amsterdam & JFK well worth the money.
