The Official iOS App for The Championships, Wimbledon, the only tennis Grand Slam on grass. Live from the All England Lawn Tennis Club, London.
The Championships, Wimbledon runs from 1 July to 14 July 2019, with qualifying starting from 24 June. This app will cover the build-up, qualifying, and every ball hit during the Wimbledon Fortnight. It will also update all year round with news, photos and videos from Wimbledon, and visitor information for those attending the Museum & Tour.

1st time visitor
Visited Wimbledon for the the 1st time on 10th of July. Fantastic experience and amazing atmosphere. Managed to see Serena Williams and Andy Murray play in the mixed doubles and what a surreal experience to see these amazing athletes in the flesh. This was our first visit to Wimbledon but hopefully won’t be our last! Inspirational x

Lucky ballot
After many years watching Wimbledon on tv my daughter and I were lucky enough to receive centre Court tickets for the men’s semifinals this year it was magical from start to finish the staff were first class and treated us very well

I liked the app last year and used it a lot. This year not so much as it says all the time that the ‘connection is lost’ & no way to access results or anything so I probably won’t bother next year as it has been so disappointing & annoying.

News items are great, I really enjoy the behind the scenes articles.
However the French Open app provides notifications on your favourite players match scores. The Wimbledon app really needs this hence I only gave it 3/5

Difficult to access, too few and the edition with special effects is dreadful. The Roland Garros app is much better on that point.

I’m half Spanish and I love the way Rafa Nadal played tonight. It made me a little sad to see that he fails to win against Roger Federer. I know he is my hero. Wimbledon is amazing 😉.

Sooo slow to load
The app is slow to load and update.
Also not very user friendly. When I log in I want to easily see current scores relative to the order of play in one place. Getting results for matches that aren’t live is a few more clicks than I’d like and extra annoying given the slow speed. I’ve found the same on all internet networks I’ve been on.

Without having to hunt around scroll around and without all the other info which is probably ok if you want to know stats but means the main use if the app is flawed by an inconsistent layout and the info not being in the format that would be useful, I like to know who and when and where as the main thing and this app means I cannot see tomorrow easily only today and I can’ t get a good view of the timings. The actual look of the app is very classy but the navigation is a major fail, hopefully it will be smartened up for next year.

Ditch the latest banner telling us what you think we want to know & just give us matches in progress & recently completed on the front page.
Then one menu button & everything on the square grid with shop & results not something ms there & some at bottom of page.

Best Wimbledon for many years. I loved the tennis of years ago; McEnroe, Borg, Martina etc and had lost a bit of my enthusiasm but this year it is back with a bang. Really entertaining.
Andrew Castle gets on my nerves though - he is too opinionated and full of himself. John McEnroe is fabulous. He was a great player and is a great presenter. Loved the documentary on him too. As for Sue Barker she really is a one off.
Just want to actually go to Wimbledon and see it live. I am 66 and not managed it yet. It is on the top of my bucket list.

Disappointing
Spent all day at Wimbledon- but sadly the App failed me all day... yet had 4G and full bars of service cover. Couldn’t see order of play or results. What a shame 😔

When at Wimbledon, app is very slow due to lack of internet access. Often quicker to walk to a court to find out progress.

Very good app overall but when you want to find tomorrow’s order of play or flip between results and live scores it’s not that intuitive

Every year starts off with loads of bugs by the time it’s fixed Wimbledon is just about over. It’s free I guess.
