MyRadar is a fast, easy-to-use, weather application that displays animated weather radars around your current location, allowing you to quickly see what weather is coming your way. Our High Definition Doppler radar data is processed from raw NOAA weather radar data from the National Weather Service / NWS using our custom-designed, proprietary systems and software, offering the clearest, sharpest, most accurate and most up-to-date reflection of precipitation available... easily accessible at the tap of a finger on your mobile device.
Just start the app, and your location pops up with animated weather, allowing you to easily see if rain or snow is headed your way. Our high-res animated radar helps you see weather details even at the closest level!
What's great about MyRadar is that the map is easily zoomed and scrolled around with the flick of a finger, allowing you to quickly check the weather in other parts of the country, including Hawaii & Puerto Rico!
On top of the basic weather forecast, users can get a quick glance of temperatures around the country, as well as overlay a current satellite image of cloud cover. For you aviation buffs, there's a layer that provides AIRMETs & SIGMETs, and even the ability to overlay the flight plan of a particular aircraft onto the map. With an additional annual subscription that automatically renews, you can overlay the weather on top of VRF and IFR aviation charts. You can also share interesting weather photos from your area, and see photos other users have contributed neatly displayed on the map.
Additional options include weather warnings and alerts, complete with push notifications, to warn you of severe weather in your area. Great for the start of thunderstorm and tornado season! There's also an optional hurricane tracker, providing excellent details and projections for the path of storms as the season looms near.
MyRadar currently shows weather for the United States (including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, when HD Radar is enabled).

This app is about the best weather app you will find. I use it to track the temperature and wind, hurricanes in my region. The app is very accurate and has many interesting features. Also the app provider really listen to their customers and have improved this app over several years to become the best of the best!!!

Weather always wrong and never right temperature
Whenever I open this app not only would it be complicated for the average user but it is also wrong it is often 5 degrees higher or lower then it truly is and always predicting snow when it’s dry or predicting a sunny day when it is really quite rainy!
Would not recommend.

I gave it my location like a million times and instead of notifications telling me what’s happening around my area it’s like showing stuff which is very far away.
It lagged a lot and I was like in a hotel in a different city and it’s like just staying there permanent

Good pairing Suunto 7 & my rada
Really like this app at it works with my suunto7, but I’d like to see a few more elements to the app and watch detail, like the inclusion of the current moon phases & air pressure on the watch that would make it perfect

BEWARE! Auto opts you in to sell your data!
I just installed the app as it looked good. Sadly though, it crashed a few times in my first few uses and was really slow to update when I changed a setting. Also, the radar function only shows historic data as opposed to future data (perhaps the latter is in the pro version only? It doesn’t say so unsure)
Anyways, as I was checking the settings to find out I saw that there’s a box which set to “off” by default which says “Don’t sell my data to other companies”
That’s not legal in the U.K. as it’s a breach of GDPR. so definitely worth being aware of. That was the final nail in the coffin for the app so have opted out and immediately uninstalled.

Lost mojo
This app was invaluable when I first downloaded it. The rainfall mapping and tracking was a great aid to planning walks. Something changed in recent months and the rainfall data is now useless. Clear skies are shown as heavy rain showers pass through. This is not a temporary glitch, many updates have come and gone without any noticeable improvement. I can only guess the developer is sourcing live weather data from an alternative provider. MyRadar was a great app but has now lost its mojo. Deleted as I’ve found better providers for the information I need.

Once great app
What was once a great app is now useless. As I sit here watching the rain falling, it tells me the nearest rain is more than 50 miles away and that there is not much of that!
Another app is showing a whole weather system coming across my area and that I should expect several hours of continuous, and sometimes heavy, rain. Also the Met Office day the same.
The only recommendation that I can now give is to avoid this app. Hopefully it will, one day, be fixed and become useful again.
Old Review: Shows several layers of information on a single view. Useful wind-flow information as well as rainfall.

No free version
No free version so hard to check it without spending money. Just subscribed to yearly plan. One this don’t like at the start. Watch compilation will show sun during night. My be minor for someone but it’s clearly wrong. Please fix. See how it goes for here

Broken in the UK?
Since the global satellite enhancement update this app no longer shows rain accurately. Yesterday we had thunderstorms and currently it’s raining, but MyRadar shows nothing in my area. I tried disabling global satellite enhancement but it makes no difference.
It was working fine a few updates back.

Perfect Weather App!
After several glitchy starts with app issues on the iPad the developer has now resolved the experienced problems - thank you Aviation Systems!
Now everything in the app is working as it should, it is a fantastic piece of work! It is often very accurate and gives very detailed weather information in both graphical and data formats.
This is now my main weather app which I use a few times every day!
Highly recommended with subscription.

Watch app fixed. 5 star support
I had an issue where the Apple Watch App would not load onto the watch. I contacted support and within 24hrs they had resolved the issue and the app is now available on the watch. The app is good and the support is better!
