The Tanpura is a musical instrument used in Indian classical music to provide a background "drone" against which the rest of the music is performed. It is a 4-stringed instrument with a base made from cured pumpkin gourd and a stem made from wood.

Ditched my shruthi Box for this app as the sound is much better. I am happy with it.

Fault in itanpura
Though it's very creative n handy but sometime it hangs. If that's a software problem please get it corrected coz we have paid for it. thanks.

Further suggestion. In itabla only one tanpura plays for 5 string ,5beat or 6 beat /5 string,but is ok for 4 strings/5 beat

Excellent sound even when hooked up to a pa. It is so realistic it is unbelievable. It's well worth the money.
