You can record not only feedings, nursing, naps, diapers, milestones, pumping, but also the baby’s mood, temperature, what kind of game he’s playing, and attach pictures. A web interface is also accessible for free, so your nanny doesn't need an iPhone to view and enter information.

You can compare with previous day and previous week averages, and view the data on graphs to identify trends. You can view when was the last medicine or vaccine. You can also track weight, height, and head size, compare with the US or International percentiles and display the growth chart.

Using for 8.5 years

Using since our first child was born, through 3 kids. Although not using day to day any more, still extremely useful for tracking medicine and our children’s growth.

Helpful for new mums

Nice and easy to use, mainly for feeds and nappy change, as a new mum - baby brain makes it easy to forget feed/nappy change time.

Great for feeds

I mainly use this to record feeds - great way of keeping tabs of which side you fed off last and to see on graphs the total daily / weekly feeds. Also use to chart weight and height. Personally don’t use nappy change feature as feels over the top

Don't not sync all the time.

Don't get me wrong. This app is great. Only giving 1 star because of the fact it doesn't sync all the time. We have to keep switching between mobile data and wifi. My wife and I use this to track our child's daily feed and sleep, but the sync'ing failure is a big issue. Please fix.

Easy to use

I've used this app on and off over the last few months, mainly to monitor feeds. It's easy to record whether manually or using the timer and allows you to customise the dashboard. I like the summaries by day for comparison and the timeline to help identify routines. I would have liked a bit more to the solid section to record whether they enjoyed the food or had any allergic reactions, although you can do this in the notes it's just something that would be useful summarised.

Really helpful especially when you're sleep deprived!

I've been using this app for the past six months. Before I had my baby it was recommended to me by a friend but I couldn't see the point. A few nights of trying unsuccessfully to remember whether the baby last fed ten minutes or three hours ago quickly changed that!

I don't use all the features only the sleep and feed counters as I think you could be on here constantly, but just those aspects have proved really helpful. As time has gone on it has helped identify patterns in our baby's behaviour which in turn helped establish a routine.

I've been recommending this app to all my pregnant friends.

Fantastic app. Have been using it for several years and two kids. Love the time line that enabled me to look for sleeping patterns.

Only real downfall is that it doesn't have a night mode where the screen is dark(er). Even on the lowest phone light setting the app still really lights up the room. Hopefully the developers can add a night time mode.

Other than that it's a fabulous app.

This is an excellent app for tracking most anything you want about your children, with sharing that works a treat. It isn't as slick or pretty as it could be, but it is wonderfully feature-rich.

Fantastic app

I used this with my first 2 children and now with my third, I absolutely love it. I log times for feeds, nappies, medication weigh ins etc and it means I don't have to try and remember everything which is great when I'm sleep deprived.

I love looking back and comparing how the boys have developed and seeing how much they're sleeping and letting me sleep.

Brilliant App!

Love this app. There's so much info you can put on it. I have used this for my last three children - ESP the feeding times. It's been great to look back to my previous children to see what they were taking and what routine I was in etc. Having baby brain it's also good to record when I last fed her- as if I didn't I may forget the time. Easier to keep a written log

I have triplets and have tried to log everything on this app. It's good for one child but not for three as it doesn't allow you to see all three children's details on one screen. I need this to see what medication they've had at a glance as I don't have time to flick between screens. I want a refund but so far have been unable to get one!

So glad to have found this app!

Just fantastic! I have twins and it allows me to see the difference in regards to feeding and sleep volume, after a few weeks I could look back and create a routine that suits them, the first option is good too as I create a blog type thing that is them talking about there day, and photos in a timeline are great! It allows dad to see what they are doing and will be something they can look back on in years to come, shame we had to pay a further 3.99 for dad to have it but we paid it as its more than worth it, highly recommend👍🏼

Lifesaver!

I loved this app - I didn't have it with my first and was so happy to find it for my second. Being able to track feeds, temp, medicine and weight in one easy to use GUI is brilliant and being able for both my husband and I to use it was invaluable. Wish I could give it 6 stars!

Bad UI, great app.

The user interface is pretty poor, but the app itself is fantastic. My partner and I use it for everything, to record weights, heights, when our daughter has had medicine when she's ill etc. Worth many time the price we've paid.

Useful data and sync for two parents

We've been using BabyConnect for the last 6m and it's been very helpful with a newborn.

You don't need to track everything, but we did feeds sleep and nappies and it really helped us regain some sense of control.

Good psychologically for when your looking at how disturbed your sleep is and you can see it getting better over time.

I loved it for when I was working as it would alert me and I could see what was happening at home.

Also meant I could guess when it was likely my wife was awake and so ringing her wouldn't disturb her.

Don't bother

I was told about this app thinking I should get it as a friend really like it and as a new mum you think if they have it maybe I should!! There's no free one to try so I spent the money and went for it! If I'm honest it's just another thing for a parent to play on their phone, it's a waste of time, you shouldn't be looking at a phone to know if your baby is doing ok or when their last feed was, you as a parent should know that!! I think if your formula feeding your baby then yes maybe it's good as you can track how much they have had but otherwise save your money and look at your child. I'm not going to bother with this again, it's time wasting.

Totally addictive!

Ignoring the Americanisms (poopy/diaper), this is a great app for recording feed length, sleep times, nappy changes etc. I watch as my baby gradually forms a routine, that I'd probably never spot without recording it here. Good graphs, you can alter times if you fall asleep and forget to press stop etc! Would thoroughly recommend. 15 months on and I'm still using it.

Amazing

This app is absolutely amazing. Used it from my child been born and it's amazing to review sleep patterns etc. Was a great tool with midwifes to see how long each bottle and often a nappy was wet. Recommended this to loads of people already. Anyone with a baby get this app!!

Really is as good as everyone says

Love this app. It is as useful as everyone says, really intuitive and thoughtfully designed so very user friendly, and so SO handy to have all the baby info together in one place. An example of how well thought out this is: the screen automatically turns to be right way up if the phone is upside-down. So unlike all the other one-handed stuff you're already trying to do, this makes it that tiny bit easier.

I wish the 24hour data could be reset to user preferences, or offer a 7am to 7am option, rather than midnight to midnight (who cares how much sleep they had one side of 12pm vs the other side: you want the whole night don't you?!) but when I emailed to ask if it was possible to change this, had an impressively quick reply. Not the reply I wanted, but it did come fast. And this is a minor gripe anyway, there's plenty of ways to add my own markers for time periods which matter to me and then you can see the info however you want to.

In practice, we've used it as a very immediate 'when was she last fed?(' tool, rather than looking for longer term trends. But it's all there if you wanted to do that.

I love this app. If you need a data gathering place for everything for your new kid, this really is it.

Great app

This is a great way to track patterns in your baby's routine and to help remember what you've done throughout the day. Also really like being able to record all immunisation and medical data so that it's readily available when you've forgotten the red book!
