Very impressed with the accuracy

I've generated sin waves at different frequencies and measured them with this app, it was absolutely spot on. For the price I'm really pleased, there are similar apps for nearly twenty quid.

Major problem

This does not seem to produce a fourier transform. In a quiet room I would expect a sin wave to produce a peak at that frequency. Instead I get a reading at all frequencies with the lower frequencies showing the highest db levels. It seems unrelated to the frequency of the sin wave. A short noise produces a ripple from right to left of the graph. I'm running this on an iPad in linear mode.
