Frustrating

Would love to know why most of the time, live from N5 doesn’t work. Can rarely get the commentary to work and when I bought preseason matches I missed half first half as couldn’t get it to work.

Adding to my review: fed up with having to log in and staying logged in. Half way through a match it just shuts down and I have to log back in yet again.

Come on devs, doubt job you’re paid to do and develop a worthwhile app.

Personally I think that Arsenal is the best team ever it has people like Leah Williamson Katie McCabe and Allesia Russo just to name a few. Ever since we won the champions league in 2025 I fell in love with this team. I’m quite a new fan but I’m soo excited to see what comes next. GO ON ARSENAL!!

Shirt quality

To whoever is considering buying a shirt from here DON’T DO IT. Up until this season quality has been fine. Got two shirts (away and third kit). On the away one the champions league patch was peeling off before I even wore it and on the third kit the Gyokeres name set was peeling before the first wash. After reading multiple stories it seems to be happening to a lot of people. Absolutely shambolic arsenal sort it out. Worst part is customer service has been a joke. Despite the fact the third shirt order was delayed by 2 months with no clarification, when I pressed them about the name set issue they’ve been dancing around it never giving an explanation or saying sorry we messed up. Shame on you guys

Every time I purchase tickets (Disabled & carer). I end up having to phone the ticket office.

Good in principle, unusable in practice

Every time you open the app and actually want to use any of the features, you have to sign in again, even with 2 factor authentication via Google and checking “dont ask again on this device”, it happens every time. You’re lucky if it works first time as youll inevitably get a “something went wrong” message.

The club has more than enough resources to support a seamless app but doesnt seem to care about fixing this longstanding issue.

The app has a “tickets” tile on the account page, but that’s not where any tickets you’ve purchased are. Also, managing accounts for junior members is super tricky. The whole app has to be changed to be more user friendly.

Frustrating

Every time I turn a page, it logs me out. The most frustrating thing is, when I go through the ballot process, I have to pay the £1 charge, so I have to leave the app to verify the payment on my banking app, which I do, and then when I go back (literally 15 seconds later) into this app, it resets, logs me out and basically forgets everything I’ve just done. A genuinely awful app experience which needs sorting.

Constantly logs out

The only app I’ve ever used where I have to keep logging back in every time I use it. Can’t watch video without being logged in: then stop bloody logging me out. “We’re sorry an error has occurred, you’ve been logged out” … far from fixing the issue it’s got worse, now does it every time I open the app. I filed a bug complaint about this months ago, and it’s just got worse. Bring back the old app where you didn’t need to confirm your email address, that one worked fine.

Frustrating and Inconvenient User Experience

I wanted to like this app, but it’s simply not user-friendly. One of the biggest drawbacks is the constant need to log in repeatedly—even when I’ve already logged in earlier. It’s as though the app forgets my credentials every time I move around different sections. On top of that, the incessant prompts to accept cookies are exhausting. It feels like I’m spending more time navigating pop-ups than actually using the app.

The design and functionality also lack logic. Basic features are buried under layers of menus, and navigation feels clunky and unintuitive. Instead of streamlining tasks, this app seems to add unnecessary steps at every turn.

I can’t recommend this app. It feels more like a chore than a tool.

A lot of problems

The app is incredibly glitchy

When trying to enter ticker ballots the app will crash and won’t let me confirm to enter

When trying to order from the shop it randomly kicks me out of me account and when i log back in it kept me on a blank white screen. I refreshed the app tried to log in again and the same thing happened.

Can’t login

Every time I try to watch a video it asks me to login although I already had. I have even tried to create a new account and I still can’t log on!!!!! In the past I have always been able to watch videos and now I cannot!! I do not know what has been done to stop us fans from watching videos but this needs sorting. What happened to Arsenal being a classy club?

Another update, a new icon (making sure everyone knows the modern cartoon badge is a registered trademark). Still unable to use the app on an iPad with keyboard attached due to no landscape support. It has however added support for new ways to extract cash from fans, like the modern match day experience this app is based around revenue and not what the (real) fans want. Does there really need to be a pop up every time the app is opened? ... of course there does why let a good experience get in the way of making money. ——————————————-

To spell it out for the developers, iPads are commonly used with a keyboard.. In landscape mode therefore the single “navigation improvement” necasary would be to not have to turn my head to a 90 degree angle to read what is on my screen.. It really is beyond ridiculous

No real improvement in the user experience. App is slow to load and clunky in use. Again I will say put the Adidas marketing aside and concentrate on developing an app that fans deserve. Right now it’s embarrassing.

The last few updates of this app have slowly turned a useful app into a useless app. Started with the frequent pop up ads for Adidas. This latest app update however really takes the biscuit. A blank screen on all app pages but still with an Adidas advert pop up. For Adidas point of view probably the way they want it. All the advertising with no content.

New digital pass a disaster and a rip off.

What a fiasco. Can’t login, then eventually when given a new membership number ,

Can’t find the digital pass. “It takes 3 days to load”. And £35 registration required by members if you want to transfer them a ticket. Since before Wenger it has worked just fine. And you can’t transfer a ticket later than 3 hrs before kick-off. What if you are stuck at work and want to give it to the 12 year old max keen fan next door. Looks like pure greed to me.

Absolutely terrible app experience

This app with new digital pass and ticketing features needs to be seriously looked at. It is confusing, buggy, and throws-up weird errors (blocked me because it thought I may be a bot, displays CAPTCHA (but so so tiny so useless). It tells me I cannot get a pass, but I already managed to get one and download it to apple wallet (I think). So so badly (or too hurriedly) designed. There will be chaos at the gates on Saturday’s game against forest.

Looks slick, but many of the ticketing features are broken. Says I have a membership on some pages, on others it says I don’t. I am on the season ticket waiting list, but it won’t display my position in the manage membership section, just a null value. Worryingly, it does show the details of another member’s waiting list position.

Always opens on my iPad in portrait mode rather than landscape; irrespective of which way up my iPad is; can Arsenal not fix this? All other companies seem to be able to do so.

Other than: constantly logs you out when using different parts of the app and you need to log in again. Navigation in the app is also not great; not very intuitive.

Video playback functionality to be added

App is great and easy to use. However, functionality should be added to rewind & forward videos by 10 or 15 seconds, rather than having to use the slider or track bar at the bottom of the video - this can be inaccurate, particularly when forwarding or rewinding on your phone.

Terrible site

Unable to book Carabao tickets as a Gold member because of poor design web page. Click on “buy tickets Now” and you land on page you cannot buy unless you have read small print to click on top of page icon on a face, click on reserve tickets, and then you can buy. Surely you should not need to be clairvoyant or need to read small print!

When you have clicked on alternative “buy now”, you go to Ticket , what’s available, and 8 matches over next 30 days appear - but NO Carabao Cup match - really frustrating.

Hire decent developers

Every version released unearths a hideous bug. Right now, I’m unable to watch in landscape mode. The orientation disturbs the appearance of the player and just doesn’t work. Ruins the viewing experience. Before, the audio player didn’t work, not once. It probably still doesn’t judging by the most recent reviews.

Do yourselves a favour and hire decent developers or shop for another digital agency to assist you. This app has, and continues to have, a poor reputation. It’s nothing more than a logo on my home screen at this point.

God awful app

I quickly downloaded this after paying to watch Arsenal - Seville. I gave up after about 15mins and watched it through the web browser on my iPad. Luckily, the game started late.

On my iPad this app forces itself to portrait mode, but then when you play video, turns to landscape, only upside down and then with some weird aspect ratio that’s zoomed in.

If you have an iPad and want this app to watch video, don’t bother, watch it through the browser and save yourself 15mins of getting frustrated as hell.

Oh and I didn’t mention that if you close the app, the video sound keeps playing in the background… arghhhh!!

Arsenal being one of the biggest clubs in the world, with a big fan base, should be vital for the app to meet current trends and looks.

App needs updating and needs to be change to become more modern. It also needs to stop redirecting to the website on every click of a button, otherwise there is no point of the app.

Log into the app, then need to log on again to manage tickets; why is this not a single sign-on?!? When (finally) into the ticketing section, response is laggy and often times-out/crashes, forcing you back to the ‘main’ section, when you have to log in to ticketing again. Doesn’t work well!

Could be great, trying to select seats is really difficult as you can’t properly zoom in to select a specific seat. The whole app is very slow and buttons don’t always work. Shame could be great. Also you pay for red membership to book tickets and see games but the app makes it very difficult it needs a big upgrade to make it faster and more user friendly

It would be great if Arsenal could adapt the app so that we are able to see up and coming Womens and Youth fixtures as well as display results and tables.

I know the first team are the in the limelight more but I’m a massive women’s fan and would like the app to represent a more equal display of all who are involved in putting the Arsenal shirt on. This might boost the amount of fans that visit games.

EDIT: “Up Next” queue of videos is still stuck on three Emery videos, despite reporting the problem.

Good app. I particularly like having access to videos of match highlights and manager interviews. But please fix the “Up Next” glitch, which queues up Emery’s final couple of interviews before his sacking! It was depressing then and I really don’t want to be reminded of it months on every time I watch a video.

Nothing bad

I think there is nothing bad with this arsenal app it gives you all the latest fixtures the matches and news. I personally really like it because I can keep track of things and it’s not slow it’s quite fast loading and it’s a lot quicker than just going onto google and search it up. This app has made it easier for me,I think you should download this app

Ladies football

It’s a good way to keep updated and stay in touch with everything arsenal but I’d like to see more for the ladies team. We are meant to be as one now and helping women’s football get bigger and grow so let’s see this happen. All I can find is the news about them. I think it would be nice to have the team on there like the men’s, fixtures and just more of their stuff all together on news and videos.

Why change a perfectly good app?!

This used to be a great app but not since the last update.

I would look forward to watching extended highlights of every match and then Adrian Clarke’s analysis of them in ‘The Breakdown’ but now the video section won’t load at all on my iPad.

The ticketing section is confusing and rarely sends you to the right place.

New update is badly needed Arsenal, if something isn’t broke don’t try to fix it!! 😤👎🏻

Fixtures

I’m finding this latest version of the app a problem to use due to it no longer gives the date of today’s fixture, all I have today is the outline of a match with no dates with a picture.

Also the matches tab could do with the date and times of games a bit bigger for those hard of seeing, rather than giving references to a game, if it at Emirates make this bigger.

Issue To Be Resolved

The app itself is very good in terms of navigation thought menus and options. Layout of the application is fair better than the previous version. You can’t fault this new version when it comes to providing you with news. However there is one major flaw you can’t use the video section within the app. Unlike the old version you where able to watch arsenal media videos within the app you can’t with the new and improved version. I even tried logging into my account to see if that would work it did not. Other than that the app itself if perfect.

Update Required

I like the update but the notification sound is no longer that unique swoosh sound and it doesn't give you the option to change it, also the widget has been removed so I can't have it on my lockscreen, please remidiate asap

No longer my “go to” Arsenal app

Preferred the last version of this app. The layout now seems quirky. The auto rotation seems to have a mind of it’s own, meaning that with my iPad in landscape position, the app almost always opens in portrait mode. I’m then presented with info & videos that is sideways. Every now and then the app opens in its correct orientation but that is very rare.

What was so wrong with the last version? Seems like it was changed for changes sake.

Arsenal App Review

Parents, PLEASE READ. Let your kids get the app! It is fantastic! I would have actually given the app a 4.5 but there was no option. It has all the info about the team, matches, results, commentary and news. But there are two things. Maybe they could show the footage of the Arsenal games live if they aren’t at Saturday 15:00. Like when games are at the Emirates, they have the access to the footage so why not show it? Also they should show the most recent transfer news when the season is not going on in January or in the summer because nothing else is really happening at that time. I would recommend this app to any Arsenal fans and when I got it I thought it would be much worse than it is. This app has a good price tag and it is worth it. Lastly, there aren’t any better Arsenal apps. Definitely really good. Also WE WILL WIN THE EUROPA LEAGUE FINAL AGAINST CHELSEA.

On screen notifications to match app info

Just prior to a game truncated on/screen notifications of the team line-up are sent, however, these do not link through to full information on the app. Could the app show full line-up, including subs, and could this be linked back to the notification?

The Arsenal app is AWESOME

I love Arsenal they are my favourite football team and the App makes it a hole new experience. It alerts you when they score if you allow it and tells you about any yellow/red cards, tells you the first team, and tells you the final score as well as who scored it. I love the app it is amazing.

Good But Preferred Last Version

I’m afraid I think the last version of this app was better. I liked opening that sidebar that showed the crest in Arsenal yellow and blue and then tapping on where I wanted to go in the app from there. Putting the links at the bottom of the home page just makes the app look more generic and like everyone else’ app. I know a lot of hard work goes into these updates but in my opinion If it ain’t broke then don’t fix it. Still a good app though for everything Arsenal.

App is useless now

Since the latest update (4.0.0) the app

has been ruined due to unnecessarily changed, I used this app regularly but now il rarely use it. It no longer fits the full screen of my phone (iPhone7) and looks like apps that haven’t been updated since the iPhone4 scree size, very odd to downgrade to this size. The latest match function has been removed from the notification centre which was a huge reason I had this app installed, The fixtures list is no longer as quick and easy to use, you can’t see all the past and upcoming games at a glance like you used to and I feel the app just looks so tacky and childish now. I’m very disappointed with this update and feel it’s was not necessary for a design change.

Great app.. but get your alerts right!!!

Love Arsenal.. love this app.. however a few alerts recently have been wrong and when you can't watch the game Gooners rely on this to update them.. Torreira apparently made it 3-2 in the 86th minute at Old Trafford.. no he didn't!!! When you listen to Radio coverage it is great.. text coverage however is not!!

Lacks squad information

I downloaded this app hoping to be able to access the Ladies and Academy squad information, but they only show the Men’s First Team. I clicked on the feedback option to ask why it was only the main squad featured in the app, but the feedback button didn’t work. Then I tried to access app support within the app page on the App Store, but that took me to a broken page on the main website. You’d think one of the most followed clubs in the world could put a half-decent app out on the market but it looks very basic.

Pretty good but full screen videos don’t work

I’ve been using this app for years and it has been great and consistent but within the last few updates I haven’t been able to watch videos full screen on my iPad and it’s honestly frustrating. Definitely 5 stars if this is fixed though

Needs fixing

Every time I select ticketing information on a game the apps completely shuts down. I used to be able purchase tickets via the app which was so convenient now when I go to do it the app shuts down! I hope this is fixed very soon it has been happening for a good 3 months now.
