Apple Watch
Used the app for ages and really like it. Recently got an Apple Watch and to start with everything was fine. However, since the latest update the app keeps freezing and you have to wake it up every time you want to use it meaning the display on my watch freezes. Need to get this sorted ASAP.

Didn’t get to use
At sign up won’t let me keep coming up fail email/password so didn’t waste anymore of my time trying I’ll stick with Golfshot.

The app is accurate, clear and easy to use. All in all I really like the phone app and based on that it would be a 5 star rating. The reason it’s dropped to 2 was for the watch capability (the only reason I want a golf app). Always having to wake up the app. Closes itself between shots. Waiting for yardage to reset and very slow in general. If I’d never tried competitor apps I think I’d be happy but the watch side of the app needs to be improved majorly as I am going back to a free version of their main competitor (not naming names) as the free version is better than this paid one. I have to admit, I signed up to looper without trying the app properly first and now I wish I could go back and undo my error.

Very useful
Great for keeping scores stats and overall average of everything in your game. But this app really becomes a part of your game by giving accurate yards you have left to the green . No need to buy a range finder 👍

Keeps going to sleep
Basically very good for free once you get used to it for tracking your own scores. Main inconvenience is I have to keep waking it up to give me the yardage. I have not found a way to keep it on.

I want to use it, but....
Recent updates have left the app unusable to me. I was a paid looper member, but I won’t renew. Used to be a great app, feels like they’ve tried to do too much and it hasn’t worked.

I have been using this Ap since I took up golf 3 year’s ago. It is great & up to now, there has never been a course I have played on that it didn’t have in its data base.
Also I have been impressed with the support I have had when I had a problem recently. The customer service had been first class.
I would highly recommend this Ap for all golfers.

Best App Ever
Have had this app almost since it was available and not only is it the best on the market, the customer service is absolutely first class. Had a small issue (my fault) recently.
These guys were just brilliant did everything I needed and more. Keep up the great work. Special shout for Ron Birch!

Time to switch
I have been using this app for some time now with very few problems, but I have no idea what has happened with latest update. Today’s round was spoilt by the app freezing, displaying inaccurate yardages, and generally distracting me from my round.

GPS
Since recent updates the accuracy of the gps has fallen dramatically and is often many 10s of metres wrong compared to other apps and checking against course markers. Not sure why it has always been so good but falling out of love with it and trying out others now!!!!!

GPS too erratic recently
Have used this app from the very early days and have been very impressed up until recently - last 3 or 4 months when the gps is just too erratic, very slow updating and before last update completely freezing - I’ve investigated all app settings but can’t get it to perform as it used too. Shame as I’m beginning to fall out of love with it and have gone to laser - but miss the advantage of having the whole hole view gps performing as it used to quickly. Wish it would just perform as accurate and quickly as previous.

Why change something that was really good
I used to really like this app but they recently changed all the text so that I can’t read it without my glasses. Makes it unusable now

Is this money well spent?
Try adding a club to your 'bag'. Yes the facility is there but it doesn't work. A known problem the app folks say. So why not get the developers to fix this bug rather than rebrand / rename the app as has just happened.
I've paid the “looper" subscription and dont care about what the logo looks like: just get the priorities sorted so that we get a system that is bug free.

Latest version has taken away Stapleford scoring
I’ve been using Swing by Swing for years and found it reliable and easy to use. However, the latest version has removed the ability for Stapleford scoring. Now you have to pay a monthly subscription for this facility. Not impressed.

Not stable with Apple Watch
Good app for stats, but impossible to use from Apple Watch. Holes don’t update and scores entered on watch don’t save - continuously going back to hole 1. Far too temperamental.

Really good
Used for the first time yesterday, worked well never lost signal. Only tip use it on a practice round as takes a few holes to figure out how to use on the watch. A how to use video at the start of set up would make it even better. Very impressed with how accurate it was.

Not saving scorecard
Very disappointed to have downloaded this app to record my scores during my rounds, the app does not save information even with upgraded account. Have also tried all online support advice which does not work after clearing cache or uninstalling.
It’s a shame as this would be great app if it worked and saved Round info. Please fix this.

Gps
Maybe it’s just me as it seems to get decent reviews, but when I use this it will say for example 145 yards, have the green banner showing the gps is locked on...... hit my shot 20 yards to far look again and it’s changed to 125 yards. I’ve just got a gps watch and check it today and the yardage’s on here are quite often wrong. Will go back to a previous app I used to get distances for hazards etc.

Have been using for more than a year now and I really like it and it’s improving with the front and back of green distances. I don’t justify upgrading to Looper but I’m knocking on the door of single figures handicap so I’ll reconsider upgrading when I get there. Superb App

A must have app
In the last year this app has helped me improve my game massively. The distances are pretty accurate, and I could use the stats it gives you to pick out weaknesses in my game. Along with lesson, it helped take 17 shots off my handicap in 7 months

Have had the app for a couple of years now and found it really useful. Since I added Looper this year I have found distances pretty accurate to front, centre and back of green though to be honest centre would probably be sufficient for me. It has definitely improved my game and it is great to have a record of my scores. It compares favourably with the GPS watch which my playing partner uses and best of all it is FREE. Love the app just want to use my handicap
Been using app for awhile. Used on numerous courses and found it very useful to get centre green distances quickly and accurately. Only major failing is that it calculates my handicap and I don’t want it to use that. I have one provided by my club. Now the option to type my official handicap in has gone. Shame real shame!

Excellent and accurate
A great app which is easy to use and also accurate. I have paid for the premium service and found the wind speeds to also be fairly distance accompanied with the adjusted yardage due to wind.

Fabulous free GPS
I'm using this to supplement my Garmin S2 watch as easier to input scores and shows more detail around greens.
Really impressed with app but it would be useful to have option of entering club/society handicap?

An invaluable tool
The perfect app for tracking your play and I love the handicap feature as I'm not a member of any club ms play at lots of different ones, I'm yet to find a course not covered by this app.
