Market indices
Market indices take a long time to update. They show old data for quite a while and can be quite disconnected from data shown in charts which is really poor. Never used to be the case.

The ads pop ups in browser ruin this app
The app could be useful, but it's very difficult for me to know conclusively as I get about 5-6 ads (all the same one) pop up in my web browser per minute which for me makes this app useless, frustrating and not enjoyable to use

Was a great app
Really enjoyed using this app until the pop ups started, every time you clicked on a article to read. Now the app kicks you out to internet explorer and tends the app extremely frustrating to use.

Good but buggy
I love this app but am only giving it three stars because it’s buggy/glitchy on iPhone. At least, it is on the new iPhone xr, the app probably just needs an update. The back button (top left) only works ~50% of the time, and the top-of-the-screen menu icons are overlayed over the iPhone’s: i.e. I can’t read the time on my iPhone through the MW menu tab... I’ll give 5stars once these issues are fixed

This app was great until the impossibly intrusive cmc banner ad takes to off the app to safari every single time you move to a different stock or article. It even happens when you start it up rendering the app utterly useless. Absolutely infuriating. We are advertised to 24 hours per day give it a rest.

Inaccurate stock price for UK:PPB
The app seems to confuse pences with pounds as I see a 100 fold increase in PPB price. This results in an unreadable chart.

Annoyingly opens numerous Safari pages
When reading news articles this app keeps leaving the app and opening Safari pages without me even clicking on a banner or advert. These Safari pages accumulate very quickly and require extra effort to go back and close them after pressing the back button to get back to news story in the app I actually wanted to see.
This needs fixing.

Market Watch - Practical Aspects
I found this app very useful as it covers the basic information I was after i.e., price movement, gain / loss along with the relevant market movement.
It could have been even more helpful if the change is shown in base currency such as £, $, € up to 2 decimal points instead of in pennies & cents.
Plus for analysis purposes if market related company data is added to a security for investors to have some basic knowledge of the company who wishes to invest would be a great step to take this app on the top of the list. Who knows what else come up in future

Definitely swung into depressed category, just now, so all views heading towards downward spiral. While recognising the markets are volatile, a small amount of optimism would provide a level playing field. But good to have really up to date figures.

Text too small
The text of this application is just too small and the developer hasn't implemented the iOS text size control which was introduced in iOS 7, that is a poor effort on their part.
Cruise control was useful when getting ready in the mornings. Now it's gone. No idea why they took away a useful feature.

Professional U.S. content for free
This is a fantastic app for keeping abreast with the U.S. market and economy. It delivers a level of detail on companies, especially during earnings season, that is hard to match elsewhere and the content is very well written and informative. A hidden gem of an app, particularly given it is free !

I use the PC version daily and thought I would try out the mobile version, my immediate reaction was it was slow but it got faster. I then tried searching for a company, which it delivered however, the news was out of date relative to PC version. Please sort that out

Market watch is an informative and up to date app .. Seems to work on the iPhone 4 don't have the problems of crashing all the time as previous reviewers .. May just be a lucky download .. The app itself steers me in the right direction before hitting Google and the papers to analyse more in depth before purchasing stocks .. Must admit I have had a few good investments based on this app despite a volatile environment .. Good luck !!
