I deleted my Spotify!
Downloaded this because I knew of Kiss FM and the dance station, and was surprised as to how many stations there were available! And paying £39.99 for the year opens up nearly a 100 more across the RAYO network! Rock, 80’s, 90’s, Classical, Jazz!!
I use the KISS App for Dance stations, but use the RAYO App for saving my Favourite stations, as you cannot do this yet on the KISS App!!
And Yes, I have deleted my Spotify for this!! It’s definitely a lot, lot cheaper and I select a Station and listen to what THEY play, rather than spending hours and hours trying to find or make a Playlist on Spotify!!

Amazing music app
The KISS KUBE app is absolutely amazing for pumping music! I have subscribed to the premium version, and I’m not disappointed. Having this app, I know that I definitely do not need Spotify. This is also significantly cheaper. I am looking forward to using the KISS KUBE app in the gym for 2024.

Great app that plays a whole host of shows. They could do with sorting though. Don’t bother with work out genre some are slow some are faster one show is just an interview. This is not good if you want a fast bpm for cardio. I listen to Mollie Collins for that.

This app is so freaking awesome no adverts yes please ideal for workplace like distribution centers do not go for radio heart so many ads so many repetitive songs every 5-15mins where as kisstory plays same songs but different days not every 5-10mins unlike Heart plus Kisstory plays banger’s especially old hip hop songs like 2pac and dance music you will not be disappointed only £4 a month cheaper then buying an Odeon membership

Might as well pray for the best
Not going to lie, I’m pretty shocked about how rubbish this app is. I’ve wanted to listen to a 1 hour programme about the year 2004, and yet I’m redirected to a 4 hour show, God knows who by, and as a result the track listing is WAY out. This isn’t just for this show though. “Breakfast” shows start with “Good evening” and a catch up on any year starts with anthems that are clearly not from that year. Not great, in fact, it is quite poor. BBC iPlayer does not have these many issues.
Also, when trying to listen to a desired programme, it says “Open in App” - HOW DO YOU THINK I WAS ABLE TO FIND OUT WHAT SCHEDULING WAS ON?!

Used to be good, now terrible.
Used to listen with the app quite a bit a few years ago, but now you are forced into signing up, which then means handing over personal data unnecessarily. I also used to like Kisstory, but the app said that it was now a ‘premium feature’, which is completely ridiculous considering all can be heard hassle-free using a normal DAB radio. So, I deleted the app and downloaded an internet radio app instead.
Heart and Absolute are owned by the same parent company and have the same issue.

Thought I’d try this app after hearing Kisstory for the first time today. Didn’t realise it was “Powered by Disney”, and I don’t know why I’m surprised, seeing as Disney owns pretty much everything now. You get to opt out of sign in for your first 3 visits but I’ve already wasted one after TRYING to opt out of a shed load of “cookies” Pretending to let people opt out is of anything is worse than mandating opt in. I’m already creating a new playlist in Spotify. Anything to avoid this kind of thing.

Every time I open this application I am greeted with annoying advert and maybe 2 songs before endless broadcasts of yet more adverts!

This app USED TO BE good, but now u gotta sign up - make an account, provide your email address, agree to share ya info with RANDOM 3rd parties .. It’s just a radio station 🙄 it’s completely unnecessary.

Absolutely love Kiss, morning afternoons evenings and now with Kiss premium I can love it even more with add breaks. You guys smash it every day and even more at the weekends no matter what time of the year it is.
I have my hot tub out and cannot make it to Ibiza to see you all but we have you all right here and I am now educating my girls (14 and 16yrs) what music and clubbing is all about in my garden. They are loving it.
Thank you so much to all the Kiss 100 team for keeping me sane from the ride to work ready to switch off from work for me to enjoy my weekends with my daughters and husband we love playing all of your DJs. 10 stars from me and mine. Love you all

The single worst app I’ve ever used. Impossible to set up an account, navigate, or use in anything approaching a functional manner. I wanted to give it 0 stars, but had to put 1 star down in order to leave a review. Truly awful, avoid at all costs. Back to Global Player and BBC Sounds for me, unfortunately. It’s a shame, as I used to really enjoy listening to Fred V’s show.

Kiss FM is amazing, the app (and premium) is NOT!
I’ve listened to Kiss for years, love the line up after breakfast and the music is awesome, Tatum and Michael are great, but how can such a slick product on-air be letdown by such a clunky app that chugs along all the time.
I’m a Premium Subscriber, but the experience is not so premium and since downloading Kiss Kube, it’s slow to load the stream, cuts out when I’m travelling and sometimes doesn’t even load the stream, it’s so bad I went back to listening for via FM, DAB or my Alexa.
Before app developers fob me off, I’ve wiped the phone, tried WiFi and/or 3G, 4G or even 5G (where I live!) and it’s still cutting out and very slow. So won’t be using premium when my trial runs out, I’ll just use Alexa on my phone or DAB in the car and tolerate the adverts.
Until the app can offer a potential premium subscriber and way better experience, proper subscription apps will cost you business.(classic upper leadership not looking at the big picture and looking at soulless pie charts again)

You now MUST have an account with them. They say it’s for personalising your adverts. Basically making a profit off of your personal data by selling it to advertisers.
Thank you for reaching out, but an email isn't going to change your company practise. You’ve taken something that was free to enjoy, much like your radio station. The ads are part of that and are fine. You don’t need my info. You shouldn’t be selling my info to companies to profit off of my data, all under the guise of personalisation.. Keep the regular ads that are good enough for radio.

Why does this app require so much bandwidth?
Music and content is great, but unless you have maximum bars of 4G/5G, it constantly drops out, stopping and starting every few seconds.
I do not understand why it needs such strength when no other streaming app needs the same.
Heaven forbid you want to listen while you are in the car or on the train.

This station app WAS great then you did premium and it WAS fantastic but didn’t come on for a couple of days and even though paid for premium I can’t get on any of the stations just keeps offering it me telling me it renews on the 4th but then offers it me again, bet you take the renewal charge though even tho I can’t listen!!!

Susceptible to crashes
I’m a Kiss premium subscriber, and while I suspect it’s entirely coincidental, I’ve found the app to be much more flaky and susceptible to crashing since upgrading.
It’s particularly sensitive to loss of signal. There’s a mobile black spot close to where I live and whenever I drive through it I end up having to reload the app. If it doesn’t crash on its own I have to force quit and reload to get back to the music.

App keeps crashing, and when I go back in it’s denying me access to premium which I AM subscribed to, so when I go to ‘purchase’ it again, apple says I’m already subscribed! Lock Screen behaviour confusing
When I’m playing a show I can’t control it on the locked screen because the controls there revert to live. This didn’t use to be the case. There’s no pause, rather a stop button that if you tap twice (stop - play), the live show loads and you have to go back into the app if you want to continue listening to a show that’s not live. Not sure this is intended behaviour because you want to nudge listeners into live? but if it is, it’s really annoying and not the journey I want to take. iOS

Disappointing and pointless since new release
There used to be a kisstory button to enable you to listen to previous shows, however that has now disappeared. All I can see are two 2hr shows ‘kisstory anthems with Alex’. The app was poor beforehand as despite having an account, the weekend shows were never grouped with the weekday shows. Put the kisstory button back with all kisstory shoes to make it user friendly. I have never been able to connect with CarPlay either. The new release of this app is extremely disappointing. Whilst I’m on a roll, the length of a availability for shows needs to be longer. If I bookmark a show, from the BH weekend kisstory ‘special’, I want it to remain indefinitely. There is a reason I’ve bookmarked it after all.

App doesn’t work properly
I love listening to the repeats of the kisstory hour on kiss when I finish work and what I’ll do is listen to the first half on my way home and then the second half on my way back to work the next morning, however once you pause/stop the show now when you go back to it, the app knows where you are left off but never comes back on as it’s buggy/glitchy as hell and it just constantly tries to load and never comes back on so long story short if you wanna listen to a show then you have to listen to it in one go as you can’t go back to it once it’s been paused/stopped

The ads are making this app almost unusable, shame really as I loved it but more and more I’ve found myself using other apps to avoid the start up disruption that does nothing but make you look like a joke, love kiss but gotta say it how it is at this present time I’m afraid, try to smooth it out or something? I listen in my car on my phone and as this is on a loop the songs are repeated all the time to almost being predictable - I don’t won’t to moan about it but with all the jams you would think a big radio station like kiss would have different loops and maybe change them round a bit. I didn’t listen for say a month as being on lockdown and as soon as I put it on in my car it’s the same songs as before - one example Witney Houston - it’s not right but it’s ok. Played every time. Come on kiss put some new jams on 😬

Doesn’t keep you logged in
If I open the app it always asks to put in my email and password. I do this and it works as it should. Close the app and have to repeat. Wish it could just let my details be saved/auto logged in. Plenty of other apps do this, not sure why this isn’t implemented.

Great music but my app won’t work
I used to listen to kiss at work through my phone all day long, but then my app started playing up and since then I haven’t been able to get it working, probably about 6 month now, after updating a couple of times, still nothing, which is a shame as we’re now in lockdown and would like to connect and listen to the festival weekend they have planned but I only have my speaker and my phone
Very frustrating, maybe I should annoy the neighbours with it blaring from the car???

Excellent app. Love the fact it mutes when I receive a call. Then continues when the call ends some radio apps don’t and it’s a pain. I have found kids stations I didn’t know existed. Loving kids dance keep up the good work kids. Definitely worth installing

KISS is a great app but the only things are that it takes a really long time to load and to move from song to song takes quite a while , although it’s great if you want to do an activity while it’s on because this radio always plays the most “in trend “ songs. Also , I have been gone on a holiday trip quite far away from KISS’S base so the music that they play is really close to my heart and they have such a variety of different styles of Pop songs available !

I rated the KISS KUBE app five stars because the app is exactly like listening to the radio in the car. The app offers a button that you can press to email KISS which i found very helpful. I would REALLY recommend this app as, although there is adverts, it is a top quality app with lots of great features 😊👌🏼🤩

A good thing ruined
Why is the updated app less user friendly than the original app - I thought the idea of an update was to improve something. This is clearly not the case with this app, it’s a annoying when trying to search for shows, pretty much all of the shows start ‘kiss...’ which makes having them listed alphabetically completely pointless, and now there are a few minutes of adverts included at the start of each show, the pause function doesn’t work when the screen is locked, and what is the point of having a 5min jump forward and no jump back option. Have only given this app 1 star as no stars isn’t possible ☹️☹️

used to love but new update downgraded :/
i love this station but the new update has made it wayy more difficult to use and they took out dark/sleep mode (now they have some bad timer) and that setting was really helpful :( also is SUPER glitchy since last update, glitches out and teleports to home screen ever couple of minutes if i press something. really wish you could fix these and bring back the old , better night mode.

Listen again only works on WiFi
Issues with listen again, will only start playing when on WiFi, can switch to 4G, but any interruption and it won’t restart. Ongoing issue for about 2 months. See other reviews for the same problem, seems the dev doesn’t want to bother about it. Otherwise a decent app.

It’s an app to listen to Kiss.... what more do you need?
When you open it, it connects to Kiss if you have an internet connection and listen to music..... that’s great what else do you need!
Always connects plays in background and great tunes.

App won’t play catch up streams
This app for the last couple of weeks, will only play live stream, works fine on wifi but won’t work over 4g, looks like others are having same issue, can play soundcloud @ Mixcloud without any problem. Please fix

Since the update your able to put on a timer and set it to night mode and I think that’s so helpful

Also I’d like other stations but has a better app.

Great stations needs features
The radio stations are amazing! Got every kind of music, but there’s no feature to download your favourite shows. Also when playing a show that’s not live you can’t get information on the song. This can be quite frustrating. Lots of room for improvement!

Great station.. not so great app
Since a recent update, the app plays around 2-3 minutes of adverts before streaming Kiss. This is seriously annoying.. especially if it starts streaming when adverts are starting on Kiss.. the other day I ended up listening to around 6/7 minutes of adverts which is annoying! Also, whenever I loose data or internet connection, the app re buffers but plays 3 minutes of adverts again before streaming Kiss.. please, Kiss, this used to be a good app. We don’t need 3 minutes of adverts every time it starts! For this reason I’ve downloaded a 3rd party radio app and listen through that.. no adverts, just the standard radio commercial break ones!!

Needs work
Broadcast is very good/ excellent, sound quality very good, reception very reliable. The App could do with improvements, navigation and display. Songs album cover could appear on closed screen, an overall re-dev of the App would be a plus.

Very good - room for improvement
I think the over all finish of this app is very good and clearly a lot of time and effort has gone into it. But I do think that the interface and how you navigate the app isn't up to the standard of the broadcast (which I recommend to anyone who likes this era of electronic music and pop from all artist popular and unheard of alike. I interact with this app every day and just think a few changes could make all the difference.

Adverts - arghhhhhhh
I don't like the fact that when you open the app it always opens with adverts, they force you to listen extra ones which are played over the music. This is bad enough, but if you dare to surf to one of the other Kiss channels, you risk starting the whole batch of adverts again. I just want to hear the great music.

Love kisstory
Works all the time when loading up. Never had a problem with it at all. Love listen to Kisstory when traveling to and from work on my phone. I also plug it into my idock and blast while cleaning my flat. This app deserves more then 5 stars in my eyes
