AVOID! Faulty Tracking Platform & Non-Existent Customer Support

When VoucherCloud first launched it was amazing! Sadly, no more.

VoucherCloud has failed to introduce a robust tracking system, meaning the majority of purchases do NOT track, so they don't pay out. Online reviews confirm a much higher failure rate compared to other cashback and reward platforms. My suspicion, and that of many others, is that VoucherCloud keeps the cashback from the merchant without passing it onto customers. Essentially, fraud.

The Customer Support department refuse to help. Whoever manages this division of the company has clearly no moral compass.

And when the Customer Support form on their own website doesn't even work, you know this is a company to avoid!

AVOID! Many better cashback and reward platforms are available.

Really poor functionality - rewards do not track

Voucher cloud is really poor quality. It does not track any activity so you will unlikely recieve any reward without a lengthy follow up with customer services.

Reward promised but never received

Used this app when making a large purchase from Dunelm, but although shows as activated, reward is never received - so really just a waste of time, and space on my phone.

Rarely used now

I used to use it now & again a long time ago, but as other reviewers have mentioned, deals advertised nowadays are mainly marketing offers, such as free delivery over £50, for example (which the retailer offers as standard). Also, for some time now, the search function consistently throws up an “error please try later” despite me deleting & reinstalling the app.

Avoid, unless you have spare time you are looking to waste

I have been chasing Voucher cloud for a year now, and they are still telling me "You can rest assured that I am still investigating this case and am looking into a solution for you. Once I have more information I will contact you."

12 months, and they are still messing me around. It's basically a scam as far as I can tell, and I would suggest you don't waste your time with this useless shower of time wasters

Claiming a gift card

I used them to take advantage of an offer which involved me paying over £45.00 and receiving a gift card, once the company had acknowledged my purchase. The link came through to click & claim so I tried.. nothing.. advice was use a laptop or a computer so I tried.. nothing .,,so after several times trying to retrieve my Gift Card I gave up. Now it’s even harder to unsubscribe..., Is it just me. But won’t be using them again. Sorry ...

Won’t let me save locations

Money Saving/Inspiration for Days Out

Wouldn't be without this App! This is the 3rd device I have installed it on & is always the first I look to install. Essential if you want to plan where to go beforehand (you can store your voucher/s in readiness, usually give you plenty of time before expiry) e.g. if looking for a place to eat, & excellent if you want to know what's nearby if you haven't! Gives distance from your location & map. I am always stuck for somewhere different to go- I have found places I didn't know existed. Easy to use, I like how it is displayed and functionality of having your vouchers all ready to use in one place. Thank you Vouchercloud! :)

Great App!

Thank you for thoroughly testing it this time, no more GPS bug! :) I'm surprised Apple didn't pick up on it when testing tbh as it actually like a virus if you didn't know which app was causing you're GPS to be on constantly and drain the battery.

Only thing that's a little disappointing is the promoted deals under the 'Near Me' tab. If I click on that tab I want to see deals nearest to me not 4 promoted deals 7+ miles away!

Fair enough have promoted deals under the other categories but seems contradictive to have them when you are pacifically trying to find deals near to you. For a short while I thought the app was still broken until I scrolled down.

Don't get me wrong this is a great app and defiantly worth downloading, just keep the promoted deals to the other tabs/categories and you will have 5 stars from me :)

Pretty good!

I was in Manchester arndale yesterday and I used my millies cookies 12 for the price of 6 voucher and it worked no hassle :D

Ok it's only one voucher used but it worked :D

Recommended improvements is that some of the vouchers specific to one area are annoying, it's a shame that the voucher isn't allowed to be used nationally, rather than at certain venus.. For example the subway vouchers are in places like bury and I live nowhere near there but I would like to use the voucher... Ok I guess that's because this app is more of a 'trial run' thing and it's down to wether the stores agree to their usage but still for this app to gain reputability and be commonly used the geographical location of the vouchers usage needs to be taken out.

Good but needs sorting out

This app does have some great offers. I think that the programming of this app is quite poor however. It works fine whilst searching for discounts nearby yet when you wish to view the T's & C's it bins you out to the home page. I can also see why people have had issues with registering and logging on as it does not describe in the blurb that you must confirm your new account via your e-mail. The UI makes it look like you can just enter your details and it will register that way but unfortunately this is not the case.

So all in all this app needs some work to iron out the problems but if you are after an app that saves you money it does just about function enough. If you plan ahead it may be worth saving the offers in your 'wallet' before you arrive at your destination to avoid disappointment.

Great App could use a few tweaks, but get it!!

This app has already in just two weeks saved my around £20 off things like cinema tickets and meals out! It's practically paying for my iPhone. It is a little buggy and unresponsive at times, and could use a kind of confirmation glow or something when you press stuff, as sometimes you can't tell if it has registered your press. But despite all this it's still a must have. It's also pretty cool that you can just show your iPhone when you come to pay and they just half your bill or knock 10% off stuff. I also like the GPS functionality to see whats close by as it can help with those "where should we eat?" discussions

Great app

Fantastic application saves you loads of money at different shops, i would actually pay for this application. A few problems with it though, it crashes when i try and open the application, and only works after it has crashed about twice, i don't suppose anyone else has this problem, reply above my review please. Also if you save up to 150 vouchers it isn't able to save them for off line usage, so i have to limit it to around 100. The application advertises something every time i open it which is rather annoying. But i reckon that if these problems get fixed with future updates, that this application could be top of the application store. Hopefully it will get updated soon. What i love about this application is obviously it saves you money at shops, restaurants etc.... But also it has a rather cool logo, i know this doesn't affect the performance of the application, but it certainly attracts many people to take a look at this application, instead of simply ignoring it as i do with many of the applications. Another thing i love about this application is how the vouchers can be stored for off line usage, which is certainly helpful, with the limited internet on the ipod touch, which unfortunately only supports wifi, therefore storing the vouchers for off line usage is very useful indeed. No but with a few minor bug fixes i would certainly be tempted to give this application an outstanding rating of five stars, hopefully i will be able to give a second review of this application, after the updates have being applied to this application, which i hope have being inspired by my comments in this review. But overall this application has the potential to be fantastic and hopefully it will eventually reach that standard.

There's no denying the bugs (mostly the crashing grr) that have been around in recent versions but have just updated and this new release seems pretty good to me! Awesome App

What a genuinely useful app! Found this app accidentally while browsing the app store, and I have to say, I'm glad I have. Having used sites that list these kind of vouchers I find the location based service ingenious. No longer do I have to browse through websites looking for which vouchers I can use around me. This app will permanently stay on my phone from now on. I don't know what all the complaints are about crashing. I've been using this app on my iPhone 3G and iPhone 4 and neither have experienced a single crash. A highly recommended app! Download it now to start saving money!

Genius idea... I

I was told about vouchercloud by a friend who had used it to decide where to eat when walking down a high street, the fact that it finds out where you are & then tells you the offers around you is the most genius part of it. I've used it once now when visiting relatives, we found a brilliant gastro-pub offering 25% off our food bill. I paid £1.79 for this premium voucher & saved over £15 so I was very happy. There are also loads of free vouchers for a huge variety of restaurants/shops etc. The way it functions is great, so easy to use & clicking through to the map to show you where the chosen voucher is for is really helpful. I'm all about getting value & vouchercloud is the newest weapon in my armoury, I love it!

Why spoil one of the best apps? It didn

I was in Prezzo a couple of days ago, planning on using a 2 for 1 voucher.

Since I’ve used this app before (completely free) I didn't bother bringing up the details of the voucher until i went to pay....

Once i was ready to pay, i tapped into the detail ‘ready to retrieve the voucher’ of which i was then presented with a "THIS IS A PREMIUM VOUCHER" ok box.

Now, this wasn't the main thing that annoyed me.... although I do think it is cheeky that voucher cloud are now charging when they already have my email & name to use for their own campaigns, as well as of course an affiliate fee with the actual companies themselves… I think it is greedy to take another level off the top of that - but anyway, I suppose that business.

The thing that annoyed me most was that after I paid the £1.79 to get my voucher, it didn't actually come through until the next day...

So to summarise : I had to pay full price for the meal + the single use subscription.... Grrr..!

In my opinion Voucher Cloud have handled this ‘sneaky extra’ to the app very badly indeed.

Since downloading it (around 2-3 months ago), I’ve recommended it to over 20 people, and I know each one of them have they have recommended it to (x) amount of people as well...

Since my frustrating experience I’ve warned everyone I know to be careful of it, and told them I won’t be using it as I was.

Before you know it, all offers will be on subscription only…

Sorry VoucherCloud, but you've disappointed me and lost my custom.

Surely all subscribers should have had an email or something notifying us of these new changes and plans ahead.

Does anyone have the same opinion…?

As a positive : This is a great opportunity for any other ‘copy-cat’ voucher cloud apps to get in there and NOT make the same mistakes as vouchercloud have.

Money Saving Brilliance!

I love this app!! I saved £20 on the first day in Revolution on 2 4 1 cocktails and pizzas.

It's got sections for days out, retail outlets, light bites, fine dining, informal restaurants, online purchases, pubs and bars etc. They email you to inform you of new offers too - i think that's quite handy as it keeps the app in your mind and you don't miss a saving through it being too new to have noticed it. Showing the app on your Iphone screen is great, no more printed vouchers! A friend tried to get the app for the ipod touch and couldn't, as the app uses your location to give you the most relevant results, and you're not always connected to the internet with a ipod touch.

Money saver

This is a great app. I read loads of reviews about spam and whatnot, so all I did was create a new email address with hotmail, used that to signup to this app and still have my original email address clear of spam....

I went to log into my 'new' email adress 2-3 days ago and only found 4 emails in the inbox and none in junk mail!

If I'd have known who's reviews were legitimet and known that the spaming issue was no more that 4 emails in about 2 weeks, I wouldn't have gone through the trouble of creating a new email.

Definatly worth 5stars, saved £7 at dominoes pizza so far! I can only imagine this app getting better with more members!!!

Yeah so you get a few emails....

....but you save money! These days you don't get anything for nothing but whilst a few emails a day cost you a few seconds deleting them or unsuscribing to them, you actually save cash! I've used this in coffee republic, Zizzi's, prezzos and loads of other places and it's always worked! So stop complaining and accept that this is an awesome app, I would also recommend the invitation book if your area has one, I got one for free as I work for a company in it but seriously I've orobably saved £400 minimum as a result of the book and this combined! £59 just on cinema tickets alone!!!! Woop woop!!!!

Save the environment and your pocket.

Brilliant little app, attractive interface, really useful offers, growing daily. This was the solution I found when the manager of Prezzo Newmarket aggressively refused my email voucher unless printed for a discount even though the email was direct from PREZZO HQ. This was despite the email being only 15 minutes old (and encouraged me to go there) and the impact of essentially unnecessary printing on the environment.

By the time I had finished the meal I had surfed the web, found this app and downloaded it. I got the discount much to her annoyance.

No spam here.........

I've been using this without recieving any spam. Just get great discounts when I want.

Some people are complaining about businesses not knowing about it....thats not the apps fault, the companies put the discounts on there, so it's up to them to inform there staff.

Even if I was getting spammed it would get caught by my email filters.......u do hav them don't u, moaners.

& as for 'private info', the only info they ask for is ur email address which u probably hav plastered all over facebook, myspace, Twitter, & any other IM.........

Weigh it up.......all the good discounts out weigh the chances of getting a few spam emails.........

Soon to become most useful app on my phone!

Been getting to grips with this app (more full-featured than most... too many categories?). With having kids this app will make the holiday week more affordable and it's even reminded me of places I'd forgotten about! Not sure why so many are giving it one star all of a sudden - this app is clearly polished and well thought-out. And it comes with HUNDREDS of offers... what's not to like?!

Here's an idea for future development: how about an 'also like' recommend feature so that you get recommendations of other vouchers to save me money?

Everybody I've shown this to has downloaded it on their phone now. Those that don't have the Iphone have been asking... where's the other versions?

the fat book goes mobile! nice work

I've been using the Invitation Voucher Book for a few years now, religiously cutting the bloody vouchers out and storing them in my wallet (where I invariably forget about them) but this app is neat - quick to use, not the widest range yet, but some great deals none the less. Looking forward to seeing more content, and nice to see you've sorted the privacy issue!

Some very dubious 1-star reviews in there. Spam alert! This app is a genuine winner, you only pay for some of the premium vouchers if you choose them, most are free
