Used to great, now useless

Now whenever you try log in it won’t let you past the log in screen, and doesn’t connect your account.

Instagram auth broken
When trying to authenticate an new Instagram account a suspicious login page appears with a broken button to send an auth code. Impossible to add new Insta accounts as a result.

I had a week worth of scheduled auto posts because I was away, however none of the posts posted and all said failed so now I’m a week behind and loosing 100’s of followers

Making posting easier
This has made posting much easier because I can do a whole bunch of posts in one go and send them out in a planned manner. Plus you can see all your social media in one place. Or upgraded yet as decided to only work across 3 platforms to start with. Very happy

Glitchy
Daily glitches make it very frustrating to use. Also some elements mean editing is tricky without undoing work you’ve already done.

Nearly perfect
So far it’s working excellently, I like being able to see my scheduled posts and be easily able to edit them.
Some of the interface doesn’t make it super clear if you’re making an error (greyed out for buttons you can’t press with no indication of what you’re doing wrong).
My only huge issue is that posting to Instagram only works in the square aspect ratio. I get stuck in a loop changing the ratio and not being able to post if I want to put something vertical or horizonal. It looks like the ability to change the aspect ratio is there but currently doesn’t work unfortunately.

Great Idea
I love the idea of this application and it introduced me to the online version which is now the only way I access Twitter with my desktop PC. The tools available in both the app and online version are fantastic - shortening URL, scheduling tweets analysing clicks on links and being able to handle multiple accounts brilliant. I have no hesitation in giving 5 stars.

Poor customer service
I’m still having problems with adding some accounts into Hootsuite. The team said “we’re looking into it” 3 weeks ago. I haven’t heard back. We may move to a different platform in due course.

Valuable time saver
I used the paid version for a year after being impressed with the free version. At renewal I was persuaded to look at managing our social media separately. With my busy schedule I lasted two months and found I was spending too much of my limited time switching between sites to update my audience. You see as well as running my business results transforming business for business owner I'm also the founder of our charity Transformation for Veterans. This app. Saves so much of my valuable time.
I just wish Hootsuite could develop its system so it can post natively and not let the platforms I use see my posts are from Hootsuite. I believe this is being frowned upon by FB and LinkedIn etc.

Something simple made complicated
I have had 6 post failed even though they were allowed to be scheduled,then posts that said they were posted then not visible on my feed, getting very frustrated have downloaded a competitor as Hootsuite have my money but don’t give me any confidence in there product

Charged for no reason?
When I first downloaded the app I was worried that I would get charged when I just wanted to test it out first but after some searching around, I was told a basic business plan would not cost and I double checked what my plan was which was a basic business plan.
Now a month after for some reason, my plan has changed to a professional business plan despite me never choosing that option and so I got charged :/

Currently broken no Instagram post function
This app used to be a lot better but it had gradually got worse over the last year.
The company’s support is slow and seemingly overwhelmed at having o deal with all the issues this buggy and broke. App keeps developing.
I wouldn’t recommend unless it drastically changes with next update. I’ll be going elsewhere.

Notification centre lets it down
This app really needs an option to manage the notification centre. It used to lists show Instagram posts to schedule but now it shows every tiny interaction with your business pages and other social media channels. I’m missing posts to put on Instagram as I’m missing them in the message of irrelevant comments. At least implement a “swipe to remove” in the notification centre to bring it up to date with other apps

Great desktop, not so great app
It’s great to be able to schedule on the go, but the phone and I pad versions of this app aren’t nearly as good as the desktop version. It’s glitchy and hard to navigate and can be really frustrating.

Marketing student
As a marketing student, Hootsuite was spoken about a lot as a good app to use as a tool for marketing activities. However, for me personally this app has failed to deliver, as one of the main features; the scheduling part keeps failing to post pictures and what’s worse gives no explanation as to why.

Doesn’t allow you to connect to Facebook as it says my account is being accessed from an unknown location. Useless app. Half of the social network auths don’t let you use the apps installed on your device to auth, so you have to manually login with loss of social accounts. Very poor app.
