ABOUT THE GAME

You seek treasures hidden by Indians in the jungle, in an abandoned temple. Many a man has tried to seize the treasure, and many have paid with their lives for that because the jungle is not the friendliest place in the world; however, it is full of mystery and adventure. Show some wit hunting for the golden ball; try to deceive a cunning shaman, see what you are worth fighting with a huge ape, attempt to find a way out of a trap waiting for you, learn how you can save your life and make your breathtaking experience last – do not put your Odyssey off till tomorrow! The sky is the limit; you have a chance to play with more than one ball at a time and get yourself a golden ball (please note that a golden ball is bigger and heavier than a metal one). Do not lose your life in a deadly hole, seek ways to reactivate lifeguards. Search for keys the hints for which you find on a path – they will help you move the labyrinth in the right direction thus boosting your chances to get the golden ball. Test your luck on a slots-machine; you might activate a lifeguard or get another ball in the game or… get trapped. Seek for treasures – they might as well be packed and waiting for you aboard! Compete with other treasure seekers all over the world: for that, see the global record table. With fast 3D graphics and realistic physics this game will blow your mind. All parts of pinball table are real objects and you can see how it works! Jungle style locations and environment gives you a lot of fun.

HOW TO PLAY

When running the app, you are presented with a 3D simulated camera zoom, pan and fly-over of one of the games. Swiping right brings up Gameprom news and swiping left brings up the local score screen. Tapping on a game's fly-over screen starts game play. Controls in game:

• Tap ANYWHERE on the left side of screen to control the left flipper and ANYWHERE on the right side to control the right flipper.

• Shake your iPad to realistically shake the pinball table, but not too much or you'll tilt.

• Tap on the "electronic caption" at the top of the screen to pause or resume your game.

• During the game pinch your fingers together or apart to toggle camera mode from live to fixed.

Excellent Pinball Sim

Used to love this game and the others in the series. Great graphics, great physics. Really fun game. Unfortunately has been spoiled by recent update that introduced ads and no other real improvements. (Could've been 3 stars).

Ooo Gameprom have a section of tables varying from the simple layout that is easy to grasp for the casual and beginner player that is "Wild West Pinball" to "The Deep" that is still straight forward in terms of complexity but with more going on. War Pinball offers something nearer main stream pinball with excellent sound bites and lots of playability for the more serious pinball player.

Jungle Style Pinball appears more mainstream in terms of its complexity. There is certainly plenty going on in the playfield. It is a well designed table on the whole though Gameprom have deviated from the norm in a couple of areas.

Previous incarnations from Gameprom had the look of a physical pinball table. Jungle Style seems to have less convincing lighting in terms of emulating the look of a pinball table. Everything is nice and clear as usual though. There are two characters on the playfield that instead of looking like table toys or figurines, they look like computer generated gaming characters. I suspect that these additions may not please the traditionalists though the casual player is unlikely to mind.

The table is very busy and in my opinion does not port too well in full screen mode to the smaller screens of the iPod and iPhone though it is still playable on these devices. This table works best with an iPad. The numerous ramps and other overhead stuff sometimes makes it hard to see where the ball is going and also to see some of the targets.

The table is interesting with a rotational under playfield maze in the middle and other twiddly bits. Some of the missions and objectives require more hits and combos to achieve than on previous tables.

Gameprom have made a brave attempt at deviating from the norm and created something slightly different. Some pinball fans will love Jungle Style (evident from the game Central high scores (leader board)), others not so much but then isn't that just the way with everything creative?

Very adictive

Problems.....

Unfortunately I cannot rate this game because when I click into it a loading screen comes up, but then it crashes. :( = (

It does work on my iPod but not on my iPhone. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Please fix the bug!!! I loved The Deep and Wildwest and have had no problems with both of them. :D

Pinballing excellence. An essential purchase for all pinball fans. Make sure you check out the guide on their website for assistance with building higher scores. Only slight problem is the side gulleys which do feature a little too often, but other than that it's pretty flawless.

Jungle style

This is a hugely disappointing followup to the amazing 'The Deep'... Gameplay and layout are chaotic, ball speed is too fast, but the biggest let down is the overly complicated graphics - an utterly confusing use of colours and layers.

Good but fussy

Gameprom are really good at putting together a great pinball machine. Their other two previous offerings of 'Wild West' and 'The Deep' had a natural progression of increasingly sophisticated graphics but not at the expense of gameplay. My expectations of this then, their latest creation, were naturally high. Unfortunately, I find it overly fussy and complex - the graphics cloud the issue for me as you can hardly see what's going on. I also find the gameplay too fast. I think simplicity has its own rewards and in this case less would have been preferable to more. I would also like to see a return to a points system of scoring rather than a monetary system ie. dollar. Tying it to the US dollar makes the game too region specific.

Nearly the best yet but needs work...

This is really the best pinball game yet in the series! However, the side ball gulleys are far too easy to lose your ball down making game play less than satisfactory. It worked perfectly in the deep but just isn't right in this edition. For that reason my rating has dropped a star. Put this right in an update and it's more than worthy of a full 5 gold stars!

Amazing game but...

Have to agree with another reviewer that the ball does seem to fall down the side gullys really often which is annoying.

Otherwise this is by far one of te best apps for the iPhone and especially one of the best games. Must have.

Get rid of sude gulleys

An improvement on Wild West but still retains the infuriating side gulley issue. The ball rolls into the side gulley - gets fired out, cannons back into the side gulley - life lost and nothing I can do about it! Is there anyway of preventing his happening?

They've done it - The real deal

The Deep was an improvement on The West and this one takes it to the next level.

This is by far the best pinball game out there. It's got everything. The music, the graphics and the gameplay and at a ridiculously low price.

The first time a pinball game seems to have everything you want ... and then some.
