Good app overall but there is no landscape mode for iPad. FINALLY they have added back the 2d map but WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN THE YEARS WE HAD TO DEAL WITH THAT FATMAP

Love the app - particularly the tracking feature, but would be better if you could pause the tracking so you can keep it going all day but pause it while having lunch etc.

Small improvements
2D map is back, finally. Same traditional ski map format that’s been around since 1970’s and is easy to understand and navigate.
But they’re still pushing that horrendous 3D map by FATMAP as default. I can appreciate that this is a marketing strategy. But an option in the setting to have 2D as default would be nice. And also the ability to download the latest 2D map as PDF.
I’d also like to see a detailed guide for the resorts, drugstores, medical centres, grocery stores, bars and pubs, more restaurants, rental shops, etc.

Bug fix needed
Glad to have the option to view the 2D map but when you click on any of the overlay data (open/closed runs etc) it’s then impossible to view the plain map, even if you close the app/redownload etc.

Pretty but slow.
Good user interface, but slow to load and crashes often on 3d map.
Info also Doesn’t always match up with the info boards on the slopes.
Courchevel also seems behind the other valleys on updates.

No 3G on the slopes
App worked OK in the various resorts, but 3G (Bouygues) was non-existent on the pistes, which was annoying 😒

Nice format, shame it doesn’t work
Web cams have never updated unless I delete and reinstall the app. 3D map doesn't load even with full 4G signal.

What an improvement
Having suffered clunky and virtually useless static brochure ski resort apps — including the previous incarnation of this one — I’m really impressed! This has really been rethought in terms of what’s useful for the skier. A few rough edges still (initial view of pistes very crowded labels, and geolocation problems) but overall first rate.

Webcams no longer update
I have been using this app for a number of years, mainly to check current conditions via the webcams and weather forecast. However following the latest update the webcams do not refresh so the whole functionality has been lost, which is very disappointing. The only way to check current pictures is to delete and download the app again! Very poor.. - previous versions had no such issues.

Since the update the webcams do not refresh which is frustrating. The map features are good.

All in all a good app but I’m personally not a fan of the 3D mapping. The idea is a good one but the UI is poor.
Hopefully a few tweaks can improve that slightly annoying feature????? Please!!!!!!

Why?!?
Why change to a 3D map that’s so difficult to use. Especially with cold hands on a lift.
Is it too much to just have an app with a 2D map that is downloaded to your phone, instead of streaming a 3D PoS?

Terrible user experience
Does anyone actually test the app before they release them? It’s a terrible user experience. The map is impossible to use with bare hands, let alone with a glove. Just stick to simple easy to navigate maps. I would ask for a refund from the clowns who built that 3D map

Rubbish
This new app is a big retrograde step. On a phone or tablet next to impossible to use. When outdoors you just need a simple electronic piste map, ideally with a market for your location. Here someone on a whizzy desktop has generated an overly complex solution.

There should be accurate live weather conditions... this is easy data to give to people so you can decide here to go or how far.. There is not.

Piste & weather info not updated or old. 3D map really difficult to use - the (offline) location feature is great but no need for the clever 3D but that slows it down and difficult to operate. Would expect A LOT more from the world's premier ski resort - get your act together 3 valleys! ☹️

Map doesn't load!
The old app worked well. Unfortunately, I am unable to open the piste map on the latest version, which is a great pity. Hope this can be fixed soon.

App doesn't let me paste my fatmap password in. Fail
Why would you disable the paste function on the fatmap login/password dialog? Your app could be amazing but I didn't even get far enough to try it. Please remove this ridiculous limitation. How could you possibly have thought it was a good idea to disable pasting of passwords from password managers?

Disaster
Keeps on crashing after unnecessary 3D update, which made it almost unusable. Super-slow to load, many functions not working. Sorry, guys, deleting until lighter version (which was great) available again.

Update ruined it
This app used to be very useful for years.
But after the update everything takes ages to load (including the webcams) and is not easy to use anymore. The map is hard to read and the whole app is a step backwards. A shame really.

Had this app for 5 years. Was brilliant. Am deleting it now as a total waste of my screen. Crashes all the time and can't even get webcams. FATMAP when contacted, don't care

Used the app Winter 2016-16 and it was brilliant. updated it to this version for Jan 2017 and it is absolutely rubbish. PLEASE DO SOMETHING. SO DISAPPOINTING :(

Who ever updated this app has obviously never skied a day in their life. It's used to be quick to find runs open and pistes groomed - not anymore
Half the restaurants have been taken off it as well.
Weather forecast is often not updated until you've caught the first lift

Update is garbage
They have totally ruined this App, before the update it was very handy to see which runs and lifts are open, weather forecast and the 2D trail map, all the information was easy to find quickly. With this new 3D map update it's too complicated and too slow, they seemed to have merged with a web broswer interface that links to the main website, its utter trash. When I'm stood on a snowy mountain, I want quick, simple, easy access to information. Not some fancy 3D map with tracking and a messy interface that only drains the hell out of my internet connection and battery. Listen to your user reviews devs, redesign the app now! Can someone please post with names of better apps as this one is getting deleted until they sort it. What a shame.

DON'T UPGRADE
Very good app ruined. I upgraded as previous changes have largely been useful. In this case I stopped the rest of the family upgrading. Lots of useful stuff is gone/inaccessible and the map which should be better is cumbersome and not user friendly. Very disappointing

How to ruin a good App in a single update! What are they thinking. It's (very) slow, cumbersome to use and, frankly, now almost pointless.
Whomever thought that this 'upgrade' was a good idea should be fired immediately. Was there no testing done by real people who are likely to use the App for its stated purpose? Total rubbish. Please get your act together!

Dreadful!!
I've used the Trois Vallées Addict app for some years and it was excellent. The FATMAP replacement is dreadful. Slow, clunky and lacks info... what times do lifts close? What pistes are open today?
The addict app is still available for iPad ..... PLEASE BRING IT BACK for iPhone

Have been using the old app for more than three years in 3 Vallées, portes du Soleil and paradiski brilliant app. Then paradiski did a similar thing And updated to yuge useless like FATMAP it got deleted and FATMAP will be deleted also. To slow to load to complicated bring back the old app. Have emailed fat map to return it and they said they can't. Did not even get option not to update just automatically update. Please can I have the old app back.

Bring back the old app. Maps were easier to use (3D on this is cumbersome) . Finding out which lifts were open was also easy ( now redirected to a website)

Awful update
The 3 valleys addict app worked so much where you could see what runs were open on the actual piste map. This app is awful and awkward to use and all together just a bit rubbish in comparison to before the update. Even the webcams are laggy and bad compared to before. Ruined what was a great app!!
