Like a lot of guitarists I have tried many Tuner apps. Many of them good but this is my go to - lives on my Home Screen. Try the free version yourself. I really like the visuals.

Pano Tuner listens to the sound you make and shows you the pitch. You can tune your instrument accurately by looking at the offset from the pitch that you want to tune to.

Very good tuner
Absolutely recommend this tuner. It’s very accurate and can reliably pick up notes in a room when playing through guitar amps or just acoustic guitars (and pianos!).

Great Tuner App

Great app for ear training
I used to play piano for leisure but became partially sighted and now I’m learning to play less by reading the score and more by ear/feel and working on jazz music. This app is really helping me learn the relation between different notes in music I listen to (transcribing jazz solos) which helps me understand my way by ear better around the keyboard too. Thanks

Electric upright bassists helper
Since switching from Bass guitar to an EUB means I no-longer need to carry any pedals. I have all my music is on my iPad so this app works perfectly for me.

Works a treat
This app works very well. It picks up even quiet sounds and gives a clear precise indication of the note. Useful also is the frequency display. I use this app to tune my stringed instruments and reckon its the best around

piano tuner's crutch
My piano tuning career spans several decades and includes years in the exclusive Steinway Concert Dept., NY. Steinway doesn't allow tuning machines and we used to make fun of them when they used to cost $1,300 and didn't really work perfectly. But Pano Tuner at £1.99 is much more useful in many ways that expensive tuning programs. It hears up to the very top string (struggles in the deep bass but so what? that's easy to tune by ear) and is a tremendous help when raising pitch - it keeps you knowing exactly where you are and what's happening to the sections as they sink towards concert pitch. I auditioned at London Steinway recently. They complimented me on my old-school precision but I had snuck Pano Tuner in and used it when they weren't looking.

Excellent app...
Very easy to use to tune my spinet.....I see the developer has upgraded it, but I prefer the more visual interface of this earlier version, which works nicely on my ipad...

Perfect and Simple
Having used the free one I just had to reward the developer.
I have it perched up in front of me when I play my tenor sax. It transposes Bb for me.
Really helps me make sure I hit all my notes, when that's what's want.

Brass reeds electronic
This is an excellent app for all instruments. Can't think why previous reviewer said too sensitive. Isn't that what a tuner should be. Easy to read on the music stand from a distance.

Great app, needed a cheap but good guitar tuner for iphone, works well maybe abit sensitive, thats why only 4 star, but great buy!
