Most valuable app when traveling
I spent an entire year travelling around the world. This was one of if not THE key app in my phone. It’s so simple to find the best hostel for the best price. If you are backpacking for a long time this app will be your home.
Ps hostel world gave me a £10 credit for being loyal while I was on the road and I got myself a lovely private room with a friend which was a welcomed relax.

Extremely useful app
Iv been using the app for 2 major trips.
I find it extremely useful for planning my next stay and even destination
Only issues I have are the app occasionally changing the dates and number of guests I’m searching for

Not allowing sign-in
Being harsh obviously I’m sure for most it’s a good app but for me it is not allowing me to sign into my profile and as a result the app is rather pointless as I can’t access my booking through it which was the whole point.

Apple Pay stored card details could not be used
It was frustrating that stores/saved card details could not be used for payment.
(Aaaand it is annoying that to submit a review you need a nickname but the app only tells you if the name is taken once submitted (not as you type) nor does it suggest available names so it can take you ages even to submit a review if you keep trying to input a nickname (seriously it seemed every possible suggestion was taken....)

Why is it it so anti-user friendly? Why can you not jump from review page to view property instantly? Why no notifications for review responses?
Better than booking.com but behind AirBnB.

The app is great, no issues there. However you can only review a hostel if you booked it in your name. I would definitely change that.

Not impressed with the lack of support from Customer Service, especially when they provide totally conflicting information about the types of payment that you can use and the policy of the accommodation is CASH ONLY!

Could improve a lot
This has the potential to me a really valuable app whilst I am travelling the globe. Unfortunately it doesn’t focus enough on the user experience providing the most practical information in a quick and easy way
• get rid of the wierd moving filter button
• put the map on the same screen as the results
• let the user immediately see how it is ordered and change it quickly. It is very useful to change the order by price and location!
• for me I want a hostel with a bar so I can socialise. That is as important to me as the price. This information needs to be one of the first displayed please.
I find myself just going online rather than use the app. Please make some improvements to its usability and focus on displaying the most valuable data first, then the less important

Being a female traveller it’s great to have an app full of honest reviews about where I’m sleeping at night 👌🏻 anything that’s says ‘safe friendly atmosphere’ is a big thumbs up for me. This app has never let me down- easy to search, book and cancel 👌🏻

Everything you need. One room for improvement, when selecting nationality it doesn’t have UK as an option bc it lists all the countries... it has England and even Wales, but not UK. I thought Britain might be an option. Just found it strange.

Best hostel ever!
Zaenul, Trise and the gang are super welcoming and you feel like you are their best friend from the minute you arrive. The hostel is super chill, clean and has good vibes all round. You can rent scooters cheaply and easily to get around and the crew know all the best spots on the island. For sure you should stay at Pipes!

I truly love hostelworld even before the app but
but..however I am having some troubles.
Yahoo is not being honest with their users
I have even been phishing with fakes purchases. I am truly thankful with app store services because they noticed and warned me and other users about these situations. I love my hostelworld account however I am not being able to change my email account from the settings, so or I will have to create a new one or stop using it. The saddest in all this is that I will lose my account when I shut down my yahoo account besides I will lose all my memories from the places I had stayed for so many years. It is not secure having my credit cards data associated with an yahoo email account. I hope customer services will give me some positive answer.
