Putting the BAD into Badoo
I have to be honest, this is the worst of a bad bunch. It’s very focused on forcing the premium payments onto its users,. You’ll be just simply swiping and a Badoo premium ad will show - when you swipe it away to decline, Apple Pay opens up! I would let this slide if it happened once,likely being my error in the way I swiped, but every time this ad comes up it’s opening up Apple Pay!
Then you have people from the other side of the world coming up within your search of 20miles radius….
It’s always asking for app feedback, then you can’t actually submit your review as the submit button is behind the keyboard on IOS and no way to minimise the keyboard.

Badoo used to be my go to app, the 1 I would recommend to everyone, I was even going to sign up to the premium version in the new year because I liked how they done things so much but now no chance, they are like any other app, nothing special about them. They have removed the Cush for a ad view which I though was their best feature, they have removed the ability to watch ads for coins which I also really liked and now they are just any other app I would highly recommend hin over this app. Tbh just comes across greedy. I will still use it but will be signing up to hin premium instead as I believe it’s better value for money and the swipes don’t lie. I have han 13 plus or minus likes for the past few months but weirdly enough none of them show up on my swipes. Make up your own minds but Yh for me plenty of other apps out there with way better features since this last change

Out of all the dating app this is the only one that likes to delete you for no reason I created a profile and uploaded some pictures of my self I then verified with a live picture it was approved then seconds later my profile was deleted I made another profile and the same happened I made another then I managed to create a profile had it 1 hour I did not chat to anyone in that time then my profile was deleted I contacted badoo help centre they said they investigated it and that I breached the guidelines lines and nothing more can be done they won’t tell you what you don’t to breach and I know I never done anything to breach the guidelines this is very poor had no problems with any other dating site badoo is using very poor technology I would not recommend this dating app I would recommend to use a different dating app this one is a joke

I have been a user now for quite sometime, I use to be on here a lot then I didn’t use it for long time but then came back and have used it ever since. I have met some amazing people on here, chatted to some really good people, yet for some reason, my account seems to be blocked for “using inappropriate language and content” when I haven’t done anything wrong at all?!
I’d like to know why I’m being penalised when all I’ve done is do what any other person would do on the app and talk, whether it be sexually (normal sexually conversation) or just plain straight up talking, I don’t understand when I haven’t done anything wrong and I would pay £8.99 each month for the last couple months and this is how I get treated?!
I would like this looking into because I haven’t done anything wrong?!

It’s a good app if you want to get matches to feed your validation but otherwise making a relationship on here is very hard and quite rare id say im a fairly attractive guy i get a lot of matches and have talken to a lot of women a lot are boring and kill a conversation a lot dont know what they want and some just mess around, not even mentioning the con artists, catfishes,blackmailers its insane, out of all the time ive had this app ive been in one relationship ive had this app for maybe a year now and ive only had one first date, i have made a lot of friends though but just be weary

5star for the program itself could be minus 5 for the actual success
When 1 woman divided for 200men interests then the chance to become THAT ONLY ONE who will be accepted for further communication is less than a lottery price.
But as most of them playing lotto I'm not givin up here as well.
The problem is, when you came from an "old world" were mostly connections made by the actual and un-repeatedly chance by the blink of an eye sparkling moments than it looks an impossible challenge to stand out from the crowd thru a Liquid Crystal Display ..

Impossible to reach customer service
I downloaded the app as the first dating app I’ve ever used. Easy to use and nice people..
only issue is I can’t access the app now as I have to mandatorily verify my mobile number via phone call. I am currently unable to receive calls and it gives no other option to verify my number. Whatsapp for instance would be absolutely fine and is basically the same. I’ve tried multiple times to then be locked from the app. Few times I’ve tried contacting customer support and it’s basically impossible to find an email address or even a chat option. Pls add other options to verify your mobile number or allow the user to be able to verify when ready.

* Thousands and thousands of fake profiles *Very expensive if you want to get to the top to get noticed ,15 times will cost you around 16 bucks !!!! *badoo plus does not offer you anything extra really heck you can’t even message someone that you like unless you pay 200 credits …just mad expensive !! Delete it and try others that are much more cheaper ,oh and if you join just for the sake of it don’t bother …it’s bad enough paying …as an extra paying member …as a freebie you get nothing ….also your data is shared between badoo and other companies not just badoo so if you want to delete your profile you need to contact separate DPO otherwise your photos and details will be left there forever just to populate the app .. you have been warned !!! deleted app

WARNING! DANGEROUS APP
This app has been one of the worst triggers for my mental health ever. After using for 1 week my stats were 0 matches, 0 contacts, and 0 profile visits. After a week account is banned for “breaking the rules” despite not having had a chance to break any. After contacting customer services to know which rule i broke, they refused to reply and send an automatic message saying “your account will not be reinstated”. I didnt have a chance to match with someone and break any rules. I think the reason for my ban is because i am so ugly that having my profile on the app is damaging to their business, but obviously they cant say this openly for legal reasons. But I’m sure this is the reason why. So I’m so ugly i damage dating app business. This has had such a severe impact on mental health that I’m having to seek psychiatric help for suicidal ideations. This app should be removed from the store as its very damaging to mental health and its customer service is not willing to deal with this, its better for them if ugly users off themselves. I’m sure they would be happy if I died.

An dating app with a difference
When I first signed up for badoo, about a month prior to Christmas 2022, I had already tried the parent company’s other apps, tinder and bumble, but although I’m a premium user on the former, I have found that on this one, you can actually see, not to mention choose, who your potential suitors, before speaking to them.
What’s more, is you don’t to match with anybody, let alone hit the like button for users to engage in a conversation, which is great if, like me, your what they call neodivergent and never had any experience with dating,
Everything is optional as well on badoo and unlike tinder, you can pretend to be somewhere near or far, when you are actually sitting at home, all without paying for the privilege.
It even tells you how popular you are, based on the amount of people who looks at your profile.
The bad side is that, I suppose the lack of privacy and openness, can get a bit concerning, plus the app doesn’t really explain itself very well when you first register.
Overall, I think badoo is far better then others in the so called, dating industry, mainly because of what I have mentioned in the entire review.

Useless (unless you want a long distance penpal)
In a nutshell: don’t bother. Go for a different app, unless you like long distance chats and wasting your time.
When I first got badoo, it was fine. I really didn’t have any complaints.
Over the last six months or so however, my settings are now apparently worthless. Badoo continually shows my profile to men all over the UK. I do not live on the mainland UK. I live in the Channel Islands.
My location is set correctly (and didn’t change at the point I suddenly started getting likes from people all over the place). How I want to be displayed and what I want to see location wise is also all correct.
. . . And yet I get several likes per day from people that seem to be concentrated in the Midlands, Northern Ireland, Scotland and “the South West”
I suspect I’m not even being shown to people locally anymore. It’s just a total waste of time and energy now. Who you are shown to should be completely location based and within a close distance. Not a whole country [that you don’t even live in!!]
I’d rather have no likes than dozens of likes per week from people that live hundreds of miles away. It’s just absolutely crap now.

Recent disappointment
I’ve been using Badoo on and off for the last couple years and never really had any issues with it. I have Badoo premium so can see when/who has liked me and recently I’ve noticed that some people who like me, I can access their profiles but can’t see a single photo. I went on to my profile last night and now cannot see any of my own photos on my profile. More of the profiles of people who have liked me today are not showing up either and even people who I have been talking to and still are talking to on the app, their photos won’t load either (and I definitely haven’t been blocked cause we’re still talking). There’s no information online or on the app on how to sort this problem out and I’m getting close to deleting because how can you talk to someone without even a face photo loading?🤯 if this problem gets sorted ASAP then I’d honestly say Badoo was my favourite talk/dating app because it’s a lot busier than others.

I’ve been on and off of Badoo for nearly 10 years, back when I first joined it was a really good app to meet people !!! Now it’s bloody ridiculous I read a review from another member who has experienced exactly the same as what I have … having our accounts moderated because “ Badoo “ say there’s been a report ! Like she said on her review I’ve never been rude, used an inappropriate name or done anything without the other person’s consent. But if that one person doesn’t like the fact ur not interested in them they can report u and ruin ur genuine account making hard to use the app when I’m pretty f,ing sure their accounts will be fake and when I TRIED contacting Badoo (mission) they give no evidence about the report but support the complaint and don’t help in anyway !!!! Ridiculous

Full of scammers
The app itself is well designed and probably one of the most user friendly ones on the market at present.
However that’s where it ends.
The app is completely FULL of profiles that are either fake and/or someone who lives in a completely different country to yours but have your country as their own.
I’ve found that almost 3/4 of my matches consist of people that do not live in London however have it as their location.
The app needs to do more to crack down on this, it does a somewhat job of verifying profiles in terms of photos so I’m not sure why this isn’t being tackled also. Especially given that normal accounts have a limited amount of likes/dislikes at their disposal, the majority of them are used on said profiles.

I like this app, I’ve found it’s a lot easier to use than most meeting/dating apps. Even though you have to pay to see your likes it’s not like you have to pay to use the app itself; really it’s more about your own personal curiosity if you pay or not but there’s never a point they say you have to, to use this app. I like the new layout after the recent update as it’s made the app even easier to use. I never thought I would meet people online as all my other relationships have been formed organically in the past but this app makes me feel comfortable enough to meet people online as it’s safe to use, and anyone that I feel has been inappropriate or has upset me can easily be blocked or reported if I feel it is necessary. It’s easy, safe and reliable. I definitely recommend it.

Good but room for improvement
I’m still very much addicted to this app, it’s a love hate relationship due to the type of people on there, the features are so much better but there’s a couple of issues. First being that it pops up now to boost your profile but there’s no way to exit that message that comes up and u have to reboot the app which is annoying. The second is when it comes to deleting messages and views, I like to be able to delete several things at once not painstakingly swipe on each one I get bored then it builds up so to add an x feature on the boost message and a select all feature to delete several messages/likes at once would be appreciated. Otherwise this app is much better now and I enjoy using it

The most pathetic bunch of fakers, do not trust!!
I used to think this app was ok, but it seems it is very shady and do not actually think it is run or controlled by actual people. I am a very honest and often quite blunt person, and if someone approaches me and sends me an inappropriate message, I have then responded in quite a (ahem) blunt and Frank way, only then to be told I have had my account blocked and been told I have posted inappropriate content on my profile??? I am not an outwardly rude person but I will stick up for myself because I’m not an idiot. I have also then found on numerous occasions that my profile name has been taken away? Yet, I have seen plenty of people with worse profile names and it is also ok for these people to talk to me like they have zero respect for me, and when I answer back I’m the guilty one?? Please focus on making sure everyone is treated equally and not create different rules for different people, or be such a bu ch of lefties, and be aware of the dodgy people using your app to send such messages!!! I have also continuously tried to opt out of receiving stupid emails from you and cannot opt out!!! Please DO NOT email me again youre a shady bunch of people Do not trust this app!!!!!

Needs work
Okay so I’ve been using this app for a few weeks now and got to say it’s easy to use. However not gonna lie I use this app for short term dating and hook ups only and so have my preferences set for exactly that and here lies the issue. Despite my preferences 90% of my recommendations all say Long Term and No hook ups??? Nothing wrong with wanting a long term relationship but not when I’ve specifically set my preferences. Please sort your preference settings out it’s the only real thing letting you down. I’m sure others would agree that they don’t wish to sort through 100s of people trying to find 1 in their preference parameters.

Such a disrespect this app is. All this premium features are useless, people are fake, lots of overseas Asian country people who has never been living in the UK.
Developers let everybody from overseas change their location just to BRING visual traffic for you to think u getting a legit likes, this is such an embarrassing for such a big company. Would never recommend use it to anyone. Never buy subscription, trust me - it’s a scam type algorithm that plays with your mind and doesn't provides with any good services. Even technology is not there and soo out of date. DO NOT BUY SUBSCRIPTION. Better buy BADOO CREDITS with the 50% offer and then refund your purchase 🤣 don’t thank me, this will definitely shake developers out of their comfort zone.

First time dating app
Honestly I’m 24 and have had 2 serious relationships that ended and it left me not knowing how to date or where to start. I was a bit skeptic all at first because of bad stories I heard but it’s pretty safe people have to verify who they are which is an easy process, so that made me feel safer plus your in control of your setting location and who you want to see you can block rude people and the guys on here are honest about what they are looking for, there are some hotties but a lot of down to earth people too.
If you have never used a dating app before use this it’s safe and easy and pretty honest. Not like tinder or other site I have seen.

Badoo a total rip off app. don’t use this
Well this app is dreadful. Loads of women on here that when you spend credit on them can disappear straight after.(fake profiles to get you to invest in the app many of the people on badoo are being payed by the company here to draw in people when most of them are in relationships already or aren’t interested in being in a relationship so what’s the point in them being your little payed ambassadors on the app. If you are in a relationship already you should not be allowed to ya this people are abusing this app to make money of LG people who genuinely want to find friends or somethin more and you get nothing back in return. You should refunded credits if the person you have messaged didn’t even open the message you sent. So many backwards steps
Searching for lookalikes was fun, now what am I supposed to do... just not try to find girls who looked like my first ex and... like, move on?! What a horrible thought. Seriously though, this was a unique feature which was fun.
Timer on the pics in chats AND private photo album on profile. Granted I wasn’t into the sort of thing through dating apps that a timer or private album was a massive loss, but it was nice to have there as an option and have the extra album you’d only show to people after speaking to them for a while.
Right swipes if you’re not premium - this has gone down to a near unusable level if you don’t pay. I mean the app is literally unusable now if you don’t pay for infinite swiping. This is plain stupid, I was way more likely to pay for premium for a while if you get a reasonable number of swipes so you kind of get into playing the game. Outright being forced to pay 5-10 minutes in is such an obvious money grab I’m not paying it out of principle.
Can’t send videos. Stupid. Obviously a size limit makes sense but no videos at all?
Giving 2 stars because when you sign up and want to validate your account the facial recognition thing is near instant and always works. Tinder it takes them hours to then say I’m not even myself 😂

So to begin with, you should give customers 2 weeks free dating trail to test the app’s true colours and to get used to its mechanism and also to identify any mal performances that brings disadvantages to the Romeos before asking us to put our hands in the pocket because how you have it set up, it does not inspire confidence, meaning that I’m paying for something that may bring me something or may not? So to be sure of the product you are supposed to supply, you must let potential customers try it for a few weeks like i said and in that way people will talk about the app a lot more and if is good then people will pay 💰 the dollars. I mean who doesn’t like to constantly date, specially with a site that gives you advantage. Wright?? Well?? Wrong you guys have got it wrong because I will not pay a penny for something that to my knowledge is untested. I am not a pay and Hope kind of guy and I am sure that there are a lot of potential clients who think in a similar way .

One of The Worst Dating Apps! :(
This is by far one of the worst dating apps that I have ever tried!! It’s literally unbelievable! The calibre of people on here is beyond comprehension. The app is full of catfishes, fakes, psychopaths and generally mentally unstable people. There are male syndicates that are playing games and clearly many of the members on here appear to be recruited by the app or something (it’s so obvious). DO NOT send any photos of yourself to anyone who asks for it on here! If you bother to report anything to the customer care team, they’ll simply ignore you. Utter rubbish!! I normally don’t like to leave negative reviews, however this had to be said! If you’re looking to meet a “normal” man or woman, this is not the app to meet them on I’m afraid! A note to the app developers.... “sort your app out and stop allowing freaks on it also stop recruiting people to chat with members!” Deny it if you wish! I’m really not sure how genuine all the positive reviews on here are; fakes! Most of the people that I know who have tried this app have said it’s completely useless. I’ve had to come off it after just two weeks! Good luck to anyone that’s considering to try it out! :(

It’s great that you have to do facial recognition other dating apps have members who can put up fake or decades old pics . Catfish are rife on dating sights . You can waste so much time on them . I would like for members to only be on here to date . You can get sooo done over and talked into stuff . If your naive and new to dating apps. Badoo has more protection for members than most dating apps. I wish I would of came to Badoo first . I started on pof and it was a hard learning curve ! Just Being honest ! I’d Recommend Badoo to first timers . Take things with a pinch of salt have fun . Don’t believe everything they said . If they’re genuine they won’t mind providing proof and getting asked questions. Take your time and have fun . I’ve meet two great guys on here . But if you want fun , you can have loads on Badoo !

Fallen into the wrong hands due to poor decision making from the admin team.
Getting rid of live streams was a total dumb business move.
They say getting rid of live streams was a final decision to get people “communicating more often.” How so? Personally I found many friends through broadcasting a live stream and I certainly got significantly more messages from doing so. Look your app sucked you brought in a live feature it worked people loved it and they you cut it!? People can get more of a feel of the personality of an individual from their live stream and whoever agreed to finalise this decision in the first place is a fool / fools and has no consideration for how people prefer to enjoy apps these days. We prefer to see who we are getting to know. MSN days are over guys nobody wants to play around waiting for a match. This is not a wise move from the badoo team.

Needs a Overhaul or Re-imagining
I used the app a while back and thought it wasn’t for me, a few months later decided to return to see what had changed. Initially, I felt it was an app that was doing too much. You had a ‘bump’ feature which let you know who was close by but rarely worked as intended(at least for me), which changed to a proximity feature which allowed people to just freely message you, match or not. And if you decided to just work with the stacks and see your chances with the algorithm you’d be met with people who aren’t even close, I’m in London, I got people outside London, in Scotland, Spain, Thailand and most often women from the Philippines using VPNs to appear in London, just a note, I had my radius anywhere between 5-15 miles. The app needs a complete overhaul in my opinion. Some say they encounter a lot of ads and premium propaganda, but it isn’t as in your face as most apps. But hey, capitalism! If you can get money off a few, who cares if the app works, right? Hopefully some people fared better than I have.

Has potential to be good
This is one of the more user friendly Dating Apps with varied and reasonable subscription fees but personally I would not pay any money to use their services until you feel confident about the degree of honesty. Certainly, don’t make any payment within the first two weeks, as when you first join, you’ll be bombarded with likes and offers to chat but the images of the people who liked you are blurred and only become visible if you make payment or if you match. This is a ploy to get users to depart with their money. It’s quite obvious that these people work for Badoo such as a user called Stepa*** who will communicate by just a few words. Thankfully, if you do make payment and you don’t use the additional features
of Badoo, Apple will allow you to cancel your subscription and get a full refund within 14 days.
Alarmingly, there are plenty of unverified Russian profiles which leads me to believe these are fake just like the many positive reviews posted here.
Given the very hope high number of people from Poland, Romania and Hungary on Badoo, I do feel that this App is aimed at the Eastern European community.

App needs a couple changes
The first change is a bug I think. When someone is offline but they have only been offline between 5-30 minutes the light by there name is green as if to say they are still online when they ain’t. I think it is a bug as the light used to go orange when they were only off line for a few minutes.
I think premium members should get 500 points each month but only if they are not an invisible user and not a deactivate account. To claim it they should have to physically go on and press something as this gets them using the app lol.
There should be a distance slider in the filter so you don’t see people who live outside of your travel area if you don’t want to.

Bullies
Last year I was deleted for absolutely nothing. I’m polite and kind. The only thing I’m guilty for is telling a man I’m not interested in meeting up or talking. Then that’s when you get the abuse. Then you get reported and then without your side of the story you get your account deleted. I logged onto Badoo Weds/May27/20 and I was greeted by an email telling me my profile had been reported for being inappropriate. When I asked Badoo why they said I had repeated put up an inappropriate user name up. I put up my name that’s it I never once put up an inappropriate name for myself. My name is the initials of a car (can I help that?!?!) and they repeatedly took my name off and replaced it with Moderated, so I changed it to either my initials with Miss at the beginning or Miss with my name and that’s it. Badoo want you to be verified and put up your real name so I did both. I have screen shots of my profile and I screen shots of Badoo changing my name twice, that’s it not repeatedly. I have read disgusting user names and they threaten to delete my account when all I put up was my name ?!?!? I have now deleted my profile.

Accounted Deleted / Terrible Service
Made an account and Badoo first decided to permanently block my account for being “underage” when I’m not. I sent in my ID no response was given and then got another email saying this issue is resolved and we’re closing the thread in other words they didn’t care that I sent my ID to prove my real age (18+). The customer service is terrible no one is getting back to me and my account is not getting unblocked. I liked this app but after this not going to join again or recommend. None of my issues have been resolved. Badoo has no proof of me being underage and when ID was sent to prove me not being underage they just ignored my emails. Don’t use this app terrible. Also I haven’t broken or not followed any guidelines they delete genuine accounts and don’t bother deleting the fake ones asking for money etc. Terrible!

Good app but stay safe
This can be a great app for socialising and I’ve met some lovely people on it already. But please beware of cat fishers and fake accounts, I’ve already come across a few. They ask if you want to arrange a meet up but block you as soon as you ask for a selfie from them. I don’t even want to think about what their intentions are and I hope no one falls into their trap. Just be wary and make sure to ask the person you’re talking to for a selfie so that you can see it’s really them. I think that Badoo should do something about these accounts and improve their security to prevent this sort of thing from happening. Other than this, it can be really good fun - just do stay safe!

Badoo live shouldn’t have been removed.
If you scroll through the most recent reviews for this app, you will notice a recurring theme. Amongst the obvious fake 5 star reviews, there are continuous references to Badoo’s removal of the live-streaming option with a stock response from Badoo saying They have removed it, so people can start making “meaningful connections” and “encourage active participation in they’re community”. They are being dishonest in their reasoning here, as it was easily the best feature on the app and set them apart from every other generic dating site and they knew it. What’s a better way to “encourage active participation” than live-streaming?
I made a great number of “meaningful connections” through Badoo live with people in other countries who I would never have had the opportunity to meet.
It’s all quite clearly nonsense. Badoo is rubbish now. Use Bumble, OKcupid, Tinder or POF, for a much better dating app experience.

Serious Downfall
I had been been using Badoo for a number of months after becoming dissatisfied with Tinder. At first it was great in terms of my experience and accessibility to meeting new people locally to me.
Occasionally there would be the odd person who had given a fake location but they were easily discardable.
However in the last few month in particular, the app has tried to cash in on itself all too much with only 50 swipes available per day which can often last into 36 hours however should you want to get more, you have to pay out for it.
There has also been a continuous amount of accounts with fake locations from people who are using claiming to be from a certain place but are not as they openly reveal in their bios.
Half of the time, it’s because are they want to make friendships which is quite ridiculous given it’s meant to be a dating app based on geography that is local to you.
It’s got to the point where it’s now ridiculous and out of 100 people that I go through, a good 50/70 are now using fake locations which isn’t meant to be the purpose of the app from what I recall.
I’ve now stopped using it as a result of the many failures it has but I hope these can be changed in time so I can return one day.

Beware! They will keep taking your money!
Another dark pattern which I reported about earlier. I tried and tried so hard to make sure I wasn’t on any stupid automatic renewal. I looked everywhere in the app (iOS version) to confirm or cancel if I’ve been placed on any but lo and behold, there was no such feature in the Settings. Then a week later, boom! Money is taken from my account for some stupid Premium billing I never intended to subscribe to. The makers of this app are dubious and they are really out to rob naive users of their money with different shady methods such as disguised ‘Buy’ buttons as profile buttons that won’t warn you you’re about to buy credits. They never reply support messages but would rather come invest their time on here to defend negative feedback as they are about to do to this feedback. They know the Apple feedback system is a single handshake method i.e. user complains with review, they respond in defence with generic response, then End! User can’t complain further then they’ll appear to be right on every feedback. That’s what they keep doing on this review channel. So as a professional UX Designer, I’m warning you Badoo team again to STOP THE DARK PATTERNS! I’ll report you to Apple. Thieves!!!

From last time I came on the app. I can say i am impressed with tapping profiles 50 times and i have had profiles visit my profile and my popularity is going up from nothing to something a little bit of progression from not having profiles viewing mine as im not paying for extra services. But i have been seen by verified users and less from unverified users i call the “fake profiles”. I am seeing small progression in this way maybe so i feel content at the moment. would like the app to surprise me with verified profile users to actually seek my profile more without the app always asking you to pay for extra features in order for profiles to seek your profile on a daily basis. As it’s more of a guarentee to seek someone real with real intentions.
But my favourite app so far thank you!

I have been really enjoying using Badoo as I am rarely in the position with my work, to be able to meet people and potential dates. Everything has been going great and have used the site before and not done anything differently. After only 72 hours it is now stopping me from looking at any profile where the person has liked mine and I don't understand why? How can I go from using the site with no issues and not change the way in which I am using it, to now the site insisting I pay money just to see some 'likes'... not impressed. Badoo, if you are going to charge people to use the site you should insist that from the get go as now I am stuck and don't know what to do. I want to carry on using the site but I am not paying hefty prices to see profile likes..

This company looks like just would like to collecting more and more money. This is the second or third time that i use it, i just deleted the app couple of times before. I changed my mind and gave one more chance, but that was a bad decision...again. Now i paid the badoo premium for only one week to try and i thought now i can messages to the users, but i was wrong, i couldn’t. The app showed me that i have to buying credits, so i bought 100 credits. I thought again that everything done, but i was wrong again. I wanted to write a message and the app showed me that i need 150 credits for the message. Another thing, if you do not cancel your payment in the settings they gonna take the money from your bank account continuously...
And think that was my last subscription of the badoo....

Problems related to finding a Conversation with the person from last week
Paul and I spoke on three maybe four occasions and yet I can not find the conversation Paul and I were having but unfortunately I have been connected to another man who has the same name and because his photo was so small on my iPhone I started chatting with him on messenger and yeti don’t know or understand why I was connected to the other man coz I was just chatting to Chris and then said bye4now cos I had to call my daughter and then when I returned to baddo app as soon as I turned it on I was connected to the other man rather than my old friend of two years before remeeting on this dating site. I have said suffice on the subject as it is just winding me up now thanks to the confusion

Too many fakes
This site used to be so much better in its early days & I did find a long term partner on here but .... there is nothing to stop anyone to make up a totally fake profile nor even age verification. As a result of this there are a plethora of unverified users, photos stolen to make up false profiles & it is open to abuse by people who may want to take revenge. Lord knows what else.
The verification only take around 15 seconds but it is not a prerequisite to do this.
I would advise any users to only deal with verified users. This is the only way to avoid potential harm, scamming and worse. I’d like the owners to insist on verification and also on age, to make this place safer and a truly legitimate experience. It was much better when I used it in 2011.
Stay safe and do report the fakes.

One of the better free ones
I’m no longer in the flush of youth and it’s difficult to meet new people as most social situations are populated by younger people. Turned to online dating sites a couple of years ago when my marriage ended, initially paid sites but with limited success although I did meet a few people and corresponded with a few more. I received very few messages and when I messaged ladies I got few replies so decided to stop wasting my money and try the free sites. Although I haven’t physically met anyone from here I have had replies to messages and spoken to a few people. Not been a member very long but overall I am quite happy with the site in general

Now useless.
This was a good app but updates and “improvements” have destroyed it. It seems focused on forcing premium services in order to make the app useable - forgetting that the non premium users add value to the app by their use. The scrapping of the desktop app was a bad move. It was always open on my computer. My phone is often off or out of coverage. We don’t all live under a 4g mast... maybe the hipster developers need reminding of this.
Features seem to have disappeared - like "encounters". I think I'm about to delete my profile and the app. I know I’m on the coast but “local” users shown on my app are rediculously far away. “Bumped into” seems to have pretty much stopped working too. Maybe the push for premium use has alienated many round here as this area is below average income being reliant on seasonal work, maybe that’s why hardly anyone round here shows up on it. As someone who has had a profile on this for a few years.. And occasionally had a premium membership I have to say that in my opinion it’s gone backwards with no sign of an improvement. Also likes disappear. I matched with someone today.. Went back to the app to day hi a few mins later to find I have NO likes. This happens too often to be a glitch. I think it's just a scam to push you to sign up to premium avoid this crud there's better apps out. Shame I cant score it lower than 1 star

One of the better dating apps I’ve used.
I’m going to keep it short and sweet. I really enjoy using this app, it’s very easy to understand and the fact that there’s verification makes it easy to avoid cat fishing.
I’m in no way the best looking guy in the world but I’ve had a fair share of matches and dates and even though none of them have progressed into a relationship, I’m happy to say that I’ve made some good friends through Badoo and using this app has helped me become more confident and more able to deal with the anxiety I often face when meeting new people.
I’d totally recommend Badoo to anyone who’s looking to meet new people and maybe even that special someone.

I’ve been a fan of people broadcasting on Badoo for months but recently rhe way you police these streams is beyond a joke a person is watching a stream and finds nothing wrong with the content then why do you consistently cut the broadcast I feel it’s very severe way to police it’s a chat site people wanna chat people flirt and yeah people do get amorous so surely if there isnt any laws being broken you should keep the monitoring of course but need to back of with the regime u have in place now if someone complains then yes of course but if nobody complains and it’s not an illegal act then all

Advertising scams exist in this app
So as a dating app, this is a clumsy site.
You’re shown people from too far away and doesn’t seem to be any easy way to reign in search parameters of distance and age etc.
The need to buy credits to contact people is a con anyway, especially as revenue is gained from every 5-6th swipe I get an advert.
One such advert that I attempted to make a small purchase from/via the link within Badoo, resulted in my fraud team declining the transaction and calling me within 30 seconds of the attempted transaction- explaining that a Chinese website had acquired my details and therefore as a known source of fraudulent use of such details, my account had been frozen and a new card immediately ordered... Well done Badoo, better screening of you advertising partners required I think!

Disappointed
My first account was blocked after a friend I met on badoo received creepy messages from me offering “services” (I hadn’t used the app for a few months and am completely gay, these messages were sent to MEN) I had my friends report and block the account as it was obvious I had been hacked. I have since tried making another account only to be blocked again. Wrote a complaint explaining the situation only to be told their decision was final and couldn’t make another account. How is this fair? My account is still visible to other users and i can’t access it to at least remove my stuff? Badoo is a scam nothing but fake accounts but when a genuine user who has never caused a problem online before gets blocked due to hacking they don’t want to help. Unless my account is unblocked or I’m able to make a new one with no issue I will be reporting this to Apple and taking this further. This has happened to many girls of colour & those who are gay and is becoming a big issue. I’d appreciate it if you could unblock my account thanks

Don’t be fooled by subscribing
As the headline suggests you’d think by subscribing you’d get all the benefits of a premium user. Well not so much as you’d like. Yes that 1 week subscription is rather tempting it’s less than a coffee. “so you think why not”. But what it neglects to say. Is that you’ll need to purchase coins at extra cost to send messages to people that your not matched with. As for users I’m 99.9% sure some of them are fake. As to entice you into coughing up your cash. You’ll also need to cough up to get your profile boosted “to actually get seen” the settings regarding where you want to search or the age you want to set are pretty much useless. You can set yours and get what you want. Although it matches you with people that are not searching for the same. One example I could be looking for someone between 35-40 at a max distance of 20 miles. But the people that show up are looking for someone at a max distance of a 5 miles with ages between 20-34. And you don’t know that until you actually speak to them. & I’ve had this happen to me we both swiped right. Yet both of us were searching for different Things. Which is just pathetic. A bit like the overall usability of this app

scam, they charge you and block your account
This app is a scam. You can only text a limited amount of users. When you reach the limit, they ask you to pay in order to keep using the app. But if you do pay and text more users they block your account. Then why do they offer that option? It is a waste of time and money... full of users asking you pay to them to have other type of services.
They do not provide any contact details for customer service, you will not find them anywhere. You can use the app to complain, but they will not give you a contact email address, they will not give you any name or telephone number. They prefer to be anonymous, just like all the scam.
I am expecting a full refund and an apology for the time and money wasted or I will take this further. The app should be deleted from the Apple Store. Why does Apple allow this?!!

A good concept, needs work
This app is a great concept, but honestly it’s such a faff. Trying to navigate all of the different things you get notifications for (likes, views, messages, bumped intos) is just silly & it’s also laid out very untidily.
There also should be a way to limit the distance you’re seeing people in - no use matching with someone four hours away, and it’s all fine and dandy that some people have their location on their profile but it would just be a hell of a lot less hassle to set your own parameter.
Another complaint I have is that it’s difficult to get used to. You have all of these ‘like’ ‘don’t like’ ‘crush’ etc buttons to get used to (and you don’t know what half of them do cos it doesn’t tell you) but when you first start out, you might do what i’ve done more than once now and ‘like’ someone because you can’t see the option to chat, but then they disappear & you can’t view their profile anywhere or search them. - honestly, what is the point in having the facility to chat if you have to then wait for them to decide whether you can make the first move or not? You should not have to pay to view the people you’ve expressed interest in. That’s just silly.
Basically a bad version of Tinder: trying to be wholesome, but is really just a poorly thought out hookup app.
