Description

The application was born out of personal frustration with finding a parking spot. There are quite a few solo bays in London, but finding them can sometimes be a problem.
This application will assist you in finding solo bays near you or at a specified location.
PLEASE NOTE that it is only for parking in London, UK.
Different Boroughs have different parking rules. We have provided details on this as well.
All boroughs are covered!!

Fantastic value for money

I am no computer geek or mathematical WizKid but even I can work out that the small amount this app costs multiplied by the amount of people that will download it in London will not come anywhere near the time and effort these guys have put in. Yes it would be fantastic if it told you which borough you are in but if you look at the street signs they have the borough logo on and as the restrictions for each borough are in the app it’s not much of an effort to work it out. So I would suggest we all say a big thank you to the guys that develop this app and help them keep it updated by telling them of any out of date information. THANKS GUYS.

A bit useful

This app is useful but doesn’t identify all the parking options. Its useful to a point and then like everything else, you are on your own. I’m more frustrated with the authorities in London not producing enough parking bays rather than this app not being thorough enough.

Must-have app 🛵

I’ve been scootering in London for 8 years and couldn’t live without this app. It’s not perfect but i wouldn’t expect that (not a massive market). Thanks to whom ever bothered to make it.

Please don’t waste your money on this app.
Yes it shows parking bays for bikes, but that’s it. You can’t tell which borough the bay is in or what the individual borough restrictions are.
Really this type of app should be barred and there should be an option for a refund.
Don’t make the same mistake as me and pay money for nothing.

doesnt navigate on search tab

I would like a refund on this app since it has a huge bug. When I am on the near me tab and click on a bay there is an info icon which lets me navigate to the location of the bay. However when I search for an address, and click on the bays near it the info icon is not displayed which does not allow me to navigate!

Essential for any biker

Allows you to plan journeys or stop at will - also tells you when a bay is pay to park (Westminster grrrrr!) or free (everywhere else) I wouldn't be without it.

Blue screen and a pin. That's all

Search for a location (only available in the paid app, which should have been disclosed clearly on the description) just gives you a blue screen with a pin sitting in the centre. App is not fit for use.

Rubbish!

Keeps crashing, screen is always frozen, have not been able to use it since purchase. Went to iTunes for refund, got referred to developer, developer says it works fine!! Avoid!

Brilliant app

Had this app for a while and have seen it develop through different stages. The last update rectified the crash issue and now I love it!! Its now a brilliant app, and a must have if you're a biker living or traveling to London. London boroughs have gone bust and would do anything to make money, the easiest way is to dish out lots of parking fines!! They won't be catching me!

Great app a little pricy though.

Great work in putting this together, comes very handy for unplanned visits. Every place I have been found the parking as stated so full stars.
It should really have an option of integrating locations with other apps like Tom Tom for ones who have it installed and one click will take us to the location.

Luckily I had 4.2 backed up on my ITunes

After you've manually updated the update option in 4.3, close it, then re-open 4.3 does crash within 5 sec. From now on I'll checkout reviewers comments before I update any updates in the future, including this app. As there's no way to revert to a previous version in the Apple (huge flaw!) store. Unless you can do that and I'm not techie enough to know how to do that yet.

Constantly crashes on v4.3

This is a good app which I use a lot, but it is unusable since the update to 4.3 and crashes within 5 seconds of opening every single time.
If you use the app AVOID updating it until a fix is released. This version is totally unusable. I am forced to look elsewhere until v4.4.

I want a refund!!!!!

This app could be handy if it actually worked and had at least all the bays within the M25, It's so temperament.
I updated it today then updated to map manually...now the damn thing wont work at all.
A note to the developers -
Come on guys, there are hundreds of free apps on the app store, some of them are amazing, if you're goner charge people for your app these types of faults are unprofessional and unacceptable. Try expiring to give your customer a 5 Star experience, I mean, come on, I can't even get this on to turn on!???

Nice

Works fine for me.Developer is very helpful if any problems-just get in touch trough the app.You can add new spots as well, I find the coverage quite good-central london and many spots south of the river too.I used it many times so far - has been acurate.In general for me this app is worth the money.

No sites south of the river.

Would be nice if the app would include bike bays south of the river Thames. What's the point in only including the west end? Not impressed.

Gives my location as somewhere completely different and only shows bays in one part of London.

Not useful at all

This app was supposed to help me find solo bays but it is not actualised, it does not give the option to include new bays, it does not find my exact location on the map and the search function might find the place I am looking for but it does not show the parking spots. It is a waste of time, I want my money back too!

even if you only used it once it would be worth it.
It has helped me find parking bays hidden up side streets 3 times now.
for ITouch users you can save maps to "photos" by taking a screenshot
(hold down button at bottom of screen, press on/off button top left)

Bad start

Just bought the app. First journey I tried it (London) the bay on the map didn't exist. Should I trust it again?

OK but map search seems USA biased

Useful app and I suppose you can't complain for 59p, but the map searches seem a but USA-biased. For example type in "London Bridge" and you get a map showing London Bridge near Lake Havasu in Colorado, USA.

Great app at a great price.

This is exactly the app that a London Biker needs.
Great ability to see parks both around your current position and a searchable address.
There are a few inconsistencies with the data, but that is more the fault of the london boroughs than the developer who was welcoming of feedback and updates.
Future improvements could be:
- Ability to detect which borough you are in
- Open source data : Ability for the public to (pending approval) add, edit or delete parking spaces.. as let's face it the boroughs are hopeless at keeping this stuff up to date.
Still a very useful app, and well worth it for the price.

Still early in development

Westminster is a must!!! Make sure it's next on the list. But even so, worth buying as im sure updates will come flying. I have another app and would pay anyth to help out with parking in c london.

Nice simple idea...

...and useful for its target audience.
I think it needs a little more data coverage, it would be useful if the Search Distance was visually highlighted on the map view, and some ability to bookmark favourite searches would be nice, but it does what is says.
So for that it's great.
