Not Wallet compatible? Stupid!

Why remove Wallet compatibility when it is the only thing to make the app worthwhile?
A stupid thing to do.
App removed and back to paper vouchers.
At least the decision makes me more likely to go to Aldi or Lidl and that’s worth the one star.

Won’t let me log in

Forbidden to use Clubcard

I’ve used the Clubcard on my phone for some time now. Today I bought petrol and when I tried to scan my Clubcard at the pump it insisted on making me update first, when there wasn’t the reception for it. So I lost the points on my petrol purchase. I bought the minimum amount to get home and will buy the rest off another vendor.

Terrible app

Most of the time app will ask me to sign in again!!! So when in a hurry to pay i have to sign in then worst will ask for the last 4 or whatever digits from the back of my clubcard! So what’s the point really of this app??? You can do better than this!

It will not let me log in I use my club card quite often and decide I wanted to check my points for the first time? However it says I have an account already and can’t log in but when I try to log in with my account it says I’m not registered?

Stupid - no need for 2FA

What a useless piece of **** - on the rare occasion I try and use the clubcard app it insists I verify who I am even though I have entered the correct password. WHO IS TRYING TO STEAL A TESCO CLUBCARD!??
I do not need 2FA on a points app. PLEASE DISABLE IT - and the means to verify are equally stupid.
Please enter the 10th 11th 12th digit on your clubcard - IF I HAD THAT INFO THAT WOULD MEAN I HAD THE PHYSICAL CARD ON ME MAKING THE APP REDUNDANT.
Honesty - this app has annoyed me that much it’s turned me into one of those people who uses caps locks on the internet and I’m not even a boomer.

STOP SIGNING ME OUT!

SO annoying when I am in store, I go to use this app only to find it keeps signing me out. WHY? I can’t sign in as it asks me ridiculous questions such as ‘enter the 7th, 10th & 11th number on your Clubcard to sign in.’ Funnily enough, I don’t have my Clubcard with me to enter this information as it is stored in this app…which I can’t sign into…as I need my ACTUAL Clubcard to do it! Doesn’t that defeat the object of the app? Sort it out TESCO!

A total scam

Tesco has deliberately hyped their prices for non-Clubcard holders. This should be illegal.
That way, consumers are forced to use this stupid system so that Tesco could collect more personal information about their customers.

QR code in Apple wallet no longer works

I use the QR code for scan and shop and it has worked flawlessly for months. Until around two weeks ago and now the QR code generated by the app fails to work on either scan and shop or normal checkouts. This is a backwards step and I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled but still nothing. This is a shame as it used to work well

Bring back Clubcard to apple wallet for watch!

Been using this for a while but I am furious that you have removed the functionality to add the Clubcard to my watch… not only is it more convenient to use from my watch it is less of a theft risk because I don’t have to get my phone out my bag… as for the newer version superseding this app forget it no way am I storing my bank card details on your app…. Very greedy Tesco, this is not helpful being back apple wallet functionality to both iPhone and watch!! Now!!!

Functionality is useless

While the idea behind the app, and the Clubcard themselves are great ideas, the app fall majorly short as you have about a 20% chance of the virtual Clubcard working. Just delete the app and use the physical copy to avoid any headaches.

Why log me out

I was using the app almost daily, but now it has randomly logged me out. I got to the till and had to log in, which wasn’t too arduous, but then it decided to ask for an assortment of numbers from my Clubcard- which sort of defeats the object!
It is possible to add your clubcard to Apple Wallet, which may be the safest option if you’re wanting to use the QR code instead of a physical card.

Stupid stupid app

Was at the self checkout and found the app had logged me out so could not scan! So had to go through a whole reset password rigmarole to reset my password and login again… only to then be prompted to enter 4 digits from my Clubcard for verification!!! Of course I don’t have the card on me… I’m using the app! And Tesco never sent me a card anyway, so I have no way to get the number. Just stupid. Tesco staff were sympathetic but useless. I just had to walk away in disgust. I went to ASDA instead.

A good app with best vouchers

I used Tesco app for a few years now, it’s easy to understand and user friendly, it also has everything you need for shopping at Tesco. I also used the vouchers for restaurants and movies, it gives you triple value. However, it doesn’t load quickly enough when you need to scan in the Tesco store, it would be even better if the app could be loaded faster.

Please stop asking me to login!!!!

So here is the scenario.
I’ve just scanned all of my shopping…
I open the app
It tells me i need to login again (even though it was logged in to the clubcard app a few days ago)
And then, because i don’t have my physical clubcard on me to login with, i end up paying more for my groceries than i should have don’t get my points either.
I’m pretty sure that Tesco will now give the response of, why don’t you keep your receipt and get your points next time you go into store or something, however, that’s doesn’t resolve the problem. That just makes me join another queue and wastes my time.
Please, please, please sort out the authentication on this app so it doesn’t keep being lost. I don’t know whether it is ios upgrades or tesco clubcard app upgrades or browsing history being cleared or something else, but other apps don’t have these issues.
What makes this issue really irritating is that i only realise i have it when i’m at the till with a queue of people behind me. This is not the time to start troubleshooting a technical issue!
Please don’t tell me how to get my points back and my missed discounts. Instead, please fix this issue for all your customers.

Worst supermarket app ever!

If I could give this app no stars I would. It never works properly for me. Whenever I log in it says no network connection and I am unable to access my club card vouchers when I want to use them especially in store. I end up having to either print off the vouchers online at home or screen shot the voucher barcode before I go into the store. I have tried deleting the app and then restalling and it still won’t work properly. The ironic thing is that I’m with Tesco mobile and my reception is fine, I’m m using 5G but this app still refuses to connect. Don’t bother installing it’s a waste of time. I have deleted the app and would never use again. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Too hard to log in

Why is it that you need to put in your Clubcard digits to be able to log in. Isn’t the app designed to be used in place of the physical card. We live in a time where a lot of people live with just their phone. I rarely take my wallet out now as I can just use Apple Pay so I don’t have the numbers for the Clubcard. In fact I don’t even know where my Clubcard is. I’ve ordered a new one and it says 10 days for delivery. Well that’s 10 days that I’m not shopping at Tesco. With all the biometric security that’s built into modern phones you should be able to access the Clubcard app immediately and be able to start using. It’s literally easier to log into my banking app than it is the Clubcard app.

Doesn’t scan at the self checkout

The app doesn’t scan at the self checkout almost every time and you feel the pressure of everyone behind you thinking that person doesn’t know what they are doing and holding up the queue. Completely baffling when it occasionally works. Even the member of staff cannot get it to scan. Using the exact same self checkout till in the same store. Clubcard prices are attractive enough to make it into your basket but you might end up paying full price like I do. Unless you queue up at customer services to request the refund onto my card to appear days later. Shouldn’t have to do that. Just make it work Tesco.

Terrible

I’ve had a Tesco Clubcard and used it with no issue until the tag on my keyring went astray so decided to download the app and of course I can not use this app until I provide my 4 digits from the card which I’ve now had to order as a replacement.
The advert stated, no Clubcard then download here. Completely misleading and I wasted so much time trying to set this up for the advertised discounts a Clubcard can provide and now have a 10 day wait to get a replacement.
In the end I walked next door but one to Sainsburys and used my loyalty card with them instore. Tesco’s this is so poor. The customer journey onboarding needs to be slick and friction free yet this experience was far from it!! Rant over

needs improving

used the app but it’s okay but not happy with the way tesco gives you limited time to do shopping, and if not done within the time frame you lose your booked slot which is unfair especially when they are charging you for delivery, if you book the cheapest slot and lose it then you offered a more expensive slot and made to wait longer up to a week before getting shopping delivered, needs a fairer system, specially when seems slots are booked months ahead, give ing people like my self who it’s severely disabled visually impaired , and do not always have driver career on, but rely on doing a big food shop as for single people no option to buy smaller amount. and the web site needs more work to make it simpler and easy to use with a screen reader, as sometimes you do not always the cheaper club members price when you put a item in the basket it still gives you at the higher price not as tesco memeber price, and to allow time for people to get a shopping without pressure of losing there slot, must be other people who feel the same needs work a fairer system for everyone to shop not wait days or weeks to get a food slot, even in lock down very little chance of getting a food slot and more time for people like my self rely specialise talking equipment

Very basic stuff prepared with a poor UI and UX

Anything consequential need to ‘pop up a window’ which in essence - and very obviously - is a poor mobile browser. Information about who you are doesn’t always carry over, and of course every time you land on it, every single time even if you have just been on it, it asks you about cookies. Personal information, such as physical address is nowhere to be found. You fill in some information in a field only for it to be populated automatically in another (!!) so you have to do a lot of deleting if you use one of their forms… All in all, it is a shockingly simple and cheap solution that would be considered ropey ten years ago. Today, totally poor.

Near perfect.

For finding out you points, getting offers to get more points or finding what you can spend your points on for extra value this app does all you need and does not insist on you having one app for each. Adding club card to wallet and setting home stores so it comes up on Apple Watch when you in them is magic too. Only issue getting to your coupons to find what you can get extra points on not one click but two as brings up all store offers first. But that a small nag on great app.

Easy Tesco Clubard App

I use the Tesco clubcard app weekly, very easy to use loads of extra offers & benefits and very easy system of spending clubcard vouchers with rewards partners, I pay the mthly shop fee of £7.99 to get 10% off my weekly shop 2 times a mth - i use it on my biggest weekly shop (£200 average) so it saves me £32 every mth after taking the £7.99 fee into account - together with clubcard points I’ve just transferred £30 of clubcard vouchers to pay for a £90 family birthday meal at hungry horse good deal all around.

Crashes Wallet on Apple Watch.

Ive recently added a Tescos club card to my Wallet. It went on ok and i can open it up, but once its opened it seems to disable the ability to use Wallet again without rebooting my watch. All i get is a black screen with ‘Hold near reader’. This flashes up and then goes to a black screen. This is stupid, as i cant stand at a check out and reboot my watch. The whole point of using it on the watch is so I don’t have to lower my mask and use Face ID.
Update. Doesn’t work at all with Apple Wallet now. Absolutely pointless having the ‘add card to wallet’ button when it just wont.

Great design, awful functionality

Considering this app would reflect TESCO’s as a company and its customer service, you would expect this app to be a delight to use.
The soul reason I downloaded the app and signed up for Clubcard was because I no longer shop with my old school physical “wallet” and now use the “Apple wallet” in my pocket or on my wrist.
The broken functionality of this app, displaying error messages when I try to add Clubcard to my Apple wallet, and all the previous complaints of this below, reflect very poor customer satisfaction from TESCO. This was an opportunity to make your customers lives easier and on-board more happy customers. Fix the functionality issues and show your customers you care about easing their purchasing journey.

Useful when it works

I’ve been using this app for a while now. I have a few issues with it.
I’m a Tesco Clubcard Plus subscriber. Through this scheme I get a twice monthly 10% discount on shopping which is accessed through buttons in the app. On several occasions the buttons have not worked and I’ve had to queue at customer services to get the discount. This problem with the buttons usually self resolved after a few days.
The Vouchers section of the app rarely seems to work for me. I have several vouchers which I can see when I logon to the Tesco website. However, I get the following error message when I click the Vouchers icon at the bottom of the app display - “we weren’t able to load your vouchers”. This problem has been happening for a while.
Deleting and reinstalling the app when these problems occur does not resolve the issues.
I think the layout and features of the app are great. It just needs some work to fix the defects.

Love this app

This is a great app. It tells me when they are expiring and I can use them in so many places. I’m only disappointed that I can’t use them on certain activities as they are out of stock like zoo’s for example. It’s great how they come through so quickly and allows us to have a treat like going out for a meal which we wouldn’t normally afford.

Awful App.

One of the worst apps I’ve come across for a major supplier! Keeps logging you out “for security reasons”? So you get to the front of a queue hoping to pay with the app, collect your points and pick up any club card discounts only to find you can’t get into the app. You try to change your password ... just in case you forgot it from the last week the app logged you out .... only to find it takes 15 minutes to send you a password reset !!!! Try waiting for that when there is a queue behind you? Eventually, when you have paid by some other means and left the shop the password reset comes through. You’ve lost any discounts of course by then and they don’t seem to be linked to your Tesco credit card? So ... resignedly you reset the password and try and get back into the app. Computer says no. I’ll just shop somewhere else. Don’t rely on this app. It’s pants!

No add to Apple Wallet, going to Sainsburys instead!

They have removed the ability to add the Clubcard to Apple wallet! So now when it occasionally logs you out, you have to try and login at the till, delaying the cashier and guess what, when you have no signal you cannot login! So I basically missed out on points on my shop, slowed down the cashier (less efficient for Tesco), Tesco didn’t get my shopping data and I went to Sainsburys for my next shop because the whole experience annoyed me so much! Tesco will lose customers because of this, and all because they want you to use the app. Nectar on the other hand is so easy that I use it more often. Sort this out Tesco!

No longer able to add Clubcard to wallet

You used to be able to add your Clubcard to your Apple wallet and set stores where it auto showed on your Lock Screen, this was fantastic BUT is no longer available, it has removed the reason to have this app on your phone! If they bring this feature back it would be 4-5 stars, the app itself is ok but nothing I can’t do by just going to the website, having your Clubcard in the app is a pain to use as you have to unlock your phone then open the app to scan it, before you simply swiped on the Lock Screen the same as you do with boarding cards. Disappointed the add to wallet option has gone, please please please bring it back ASAP.

Not as good as other reward apps

It’s a good app, but what I don’t understand is why you can’t save all your coupons for use like you can with the Nectar app in Sainsbury’s? So when you scan your card there, it automatically picks up the extra points coupons and applies them to the account. Whereas with the Tesco app, you have to access every coupon and scan it individually, massive time waster at the tills and if you have no signal, you can’t access the coupons!

Apple wallet import broken - app useless to me

I have been trying for months now to use this app to add my Clubcard to apple wallet. Every time I get the same error message asking me to try again in a few minutes. I have tried to raise issues with support with no success. I fear this is just a tactic by Tesco to try and drive customers to their own app based solutions especially given the lack of full support for Apple Pay at tills (standard contactless card payment limits). As it stands there is no reason for me to personally keep this app on my phone
Update - in a bid to try and force the Tesco ecosystem on people the developers have now completely removed to option of adding you Clubcard to Apple Wallet. This now means that you have to unlock your phone find the app unlock the app and scan your Clubcard all whilst at the till and that is before you have tried to pay. The system is to disjointed and time consuming to be useful in real life.
Please just make it as easy as possible for users. Enable Apple Pay properly at Tesco tills and allow the Clubcard to be added to wallet. Everything is then all in one place...

Cant even sign in

I’ve had a Clubcard for many years. The same account. The shopping app knows my Clubcard and adds my points to it without any bother. It’s one and the same Tesco Clubcard that resides in my purse that I use in Tesco stores.
The shopping app says get the Clubcard app. I’ve had that some time too but haven’t used it in a while because I’d prefer to use the card in a shop rather than juggle and drop my phone . Now I shop online it would be useful to use the phone.
Sign in...... submit my email and password which is automatic through my password app..... Clubcard app knows who I am and tells me what points I have. But then wants 11th 12th 13th 14th numbers from my Clubcard number. Fine - it’s in front of me. Says scan your Clubcard - I’m assuming that’s the QVC. Scan the Clubcard, the correct numbers are automatically entered. No - apparently the actual numbers on my actual Clubcard that is in my actual name and actually registered on my Tesco account are not correct. Having entered the numbers manually and again by scanning I'm now blocked.
If you think I’m ringing up Tesco helpline - because that’s the only option I have- it isn’t going to happen. It’s really not worth the hassle.

Twice the app has logged out at checkout

When I opened the app to scan my clubcard at the self serve, just as I went to scan the barcode the app logged me out and asked to confirm digits from my clubcard number. Of course I didn’t have my clubcard that’s why I was using the app. Luckily I had a signal to contact someone at home to confirm the number.
If this happens to someone and they have a flaky internet connection they will be stuck without being able to scan their clubcard. With the recent clubcard price discount change at Tesco this could go two ways..
1 - The customer has no choice and overpays losing their clubcard discounts because they may have limited time. The app logged them out and they are struggling to reset their account or cannot retrieve digits from their clubcard number.
2 - Or they leave the shopping.
Just worth a consideration.

Verification?!

I usually enjoyed using this because is so convenient and everything is in one place! But they started logging me out which fair enough if there’s a time out. But after logging in with the correct password why do they still need you to verified the specific Clubcard??? The whole point of the app is that you don’t have to carry your physical Clubcard with you but NO! I might as well carry the physical Clubcard with me at least then I know I’ll always be able to get Clubcard points rather than when I don’t remember/ know that specific four digits on my Clubcard to log in to my Clubcard app. Please remove this verification step (the password login should be sufficient) as it’s so inconvenient and frustrating!

Can be good, some irritating points though

On the whole a good app but with a couple of irritations:
Latest bug being that the app shuts itself down when attempting to access coupons. This happens on both my iPhones which are different models running different iOS revisions and after removing and reinstalling the app.
Second one is that Tesco’s self serve tills don’t recognise that you’re using a digital voucher and expect something to be posted into the voucher slot of the till. The get around is to post an old receipt through it or waggle your physical Clubcard in the slot but that does draw unwanted attention from security!

Soooo handy

Having lost all clubcards having the app has been amazing, not only do I never lose my phone so I always have it with me, it’s also super simple to check balance, transfer balance and exchange for vouchers as and when. I can’t afford to eat out often but with the rewards on offer and the fact it is so quick I am able to enjoy a meal out at little cost

The Original Loyalty Card

If you’re happy to share your Tesco shopping with Tesco so they can make special offers on the things you buy and allow them to buy better, what’s not to like. Tesco have kept up with the times, from the original Clubcard, probably your only loyalty card, which doubled as a ice scraper for your car windscreen, to today where it’s stored electronically on your phone, which is a good thing as every retail chain now has its own loyalty card.

Scanning Clubcard

I love having the Clubcard app on my phone as I don’t always have my car keys with me which has my Clubcard tag on it when I shop. Especially when I can just take my phone and pay with Apple Pay. It’s so convenient. The only downside is that sometimes the scanners in store don’t want to accept the image in my phone, and I have to key in the number. This seems to be happening more and more these days. Maybe Tesco need to update their scanners?

Handy

I find this app quite handy. I still use a physical Clubcard when shopping, but having my vouchers on my phone is useful. The only thing that lets the app down for me is when using vouchers at the self service or scan as you shop checkouts you still need a bit of paper to put in the voucher slot on the machine. Fortunately most times there’s a member of staff on hand with something to use, otherwise you’re stuck. Kind of annoying, but not the end of the world.

Clubcard security digits

Just tried after locking myself out for an hour to sign in again. I have logged in to the website using the clubcard number from the back of my credit card (11th, 12th, 13th etc) to get some pizza express vouchers with no problem as I always do, but cannot use the same number to log on to this app. And yes, I’m using the clubcard number not the credit card number!!
Plus your app support link doesn’t go to a support page, just to your app list on the Tesco web site - it would be good if it went to a support page with a support form so I could ask you this 1:1
Can you not come up with an easier way to verify the clubcard number? It is a pain having to get the 11th, 12th, 13th digits, then get it wrong because it’s all printed in tiny font on the back of the credit card as a 16digit string, and then do it again and realise that inexplicably it wants the 10th, 11th and 12th, and then try again and it locks you out for an hour. Why not just link it from the Tesco bank app or something?

Great App for Management of Vouchers and Rewards

I use this app on my iPhone - so easy to use. All my vouchers in one place which can be converted to rewards simply and quickly. I also receive alerts when vouchers are soon to expire which is helpful. I use my vouchers mainly for cinema tickets and my only gripe is that used rewards are still showing for quite some time after I’ve used them with nothing to show they have been used so it’s a bit of a faff figuring out which still have value and entering details before my cinema bookings time out. This might be to do with communication between Tesco and the reward provider but it would be helpful if the app flagged rewards used but still showing. Overall though easy and convenient to use.

Many hidden things

This app is what we have been waiting for, almost. The fact you do not have to carry paper vouchers around anymore is fabulous. Also fabulous that you can convert your points to vouchers anytime is also fabulous. Others I noticed have committed that they lost on vouchers which I would say you are wrong and misunderstood the how the app works! The last thing we are now looking for is to add the pay+ option to this app. It is odd to have two split apps when one app together could be very powerful and helpful to the shopper.

Ridiculously Paranoid Log In Procedure

Okay, I’m sorry but even as I rarely go to the effort of submitting a review, I felt I had to state this -especially as there is a *total absence* of any form of complaint or feedback submission functionality internally on the app (!)
Whilst the functionality is fine (I mean what functionality is there really to be had when it’s just a club card), and I could moan about the fact that to ‘generate’ a voucher requires human authorisation etc, the real issue that boils my blood is that the *log in procedure* is so stupidly and ridiculously over secured you’d think you were logging into a banking application!
Not only has my iPhone been secured via Touch ID, and my password stored securely via Apples Keychain... you’ve guessed it - not good enough for whatever monkey development team wrote this app - that’s right, they want my club card number or the x,y and zth number of it or something. I mean, that’ll be from the physical club card the app is designed to substitute for right?!
Anyway folks, if you want to use this app make sure you store all your credentials somewhere physical, probably next to your banking credentials too because that totally doesn’t undermine the entire security policy in the first place!

Useful

I find this app really useful as I’ve often gone into the shop but not taken my Clubcard. I never go anywhere without my phone so I always have it now so not loosing any points anymore so that’s a bonus. I was aware you could take your receipt in next time you shopped but that never really happened as I nearly always forgot or wasn’t able to find the receipt. So a very happy customer thanks x

Great App but no longer working

Was very happy with the app. Convenient for when you’ve left your fob, vouchers, or want to keep track of where/if you’ve collected your points when shopping.
Unfortunately I can no longer use the app as I deleted it to scrape some more storage (children’s sports day required additional space for the day) and when I went to back to apple store to redownload it i was given the option to open it, but it’s not on my phone! I click open and it flickers to load but then stops and doesn’t offer any other options. I clicked on app support which takes me in a loop to the Tesco website that tells me about this great app and gives me a link to download it, taking me back to the App Store.
Help would be appreciated!

Absolutely orgasmic!

I just got the app and I am absolutely thrilled to see so many useful features available with a simple yet stylish layout. I can see and do so much with the tip of my fingers on my mobile. I am feeling so orgasmic even my husband offer me tissues to clean myself. Cannot wait to use the coupon features so I don’t have to faff around with what coupons can I use or forget them at home. The only think I can come up with that would be even more useful is integration with Tesco Pay+ so that everything is in one neat app. Thanks Tesco ;)

Better than paper

Great to have on phone rather than on paper I often would forget vouchers when out so miss opportunity’s to take advantage of a discounted meal out! Only negative is it’s not updated very quickly so once a voucher has been used it stays showing as available for days. Would be good if you could delete off yourself if you know you’ve used them. Advantage of paper is you’d bin them after using.

Would like Pay+ and Clubcard in one

Having two apps for clubcard QR and Tesco Pay+ is annoying when they could both easily be in the same app, as someone who works at Tesco customers sometimes believe they can collect their points using Pay+ as that has their clubcard linked but when I have told them it will actually process their checkout they don’t understand. Have both in the same app so customers can access their card and the pay+

Great App. 👍🏽

Easy to navigate and access coupons & vouchers plus love being able to convert points to vouchers early (Shame it takes couple of days but still great) it would also be great if you could automatically select vouchers/coupons to be used when shopping at the self scan checkout as it asks you to insert paper voucher/coupon when u don’t have them and a bit fiddly to access on phone. It would be great if you could scan with self scanner before getting to checkout! Also to save on post & paper bonus vouchers send them via email & upload to card app for a more Eco option. Hopefully something to look forward to in the very near future??

Finding a reward is problematic!

The app seems helpful in that you can view your vouchers easily, it appears you get notifications of vouchers about to expire (I opened the app to find I had £12 of vouchers expiring in 11 days!), so on the face of it, a great app.
But then trying to find a reward was impossibly difficult - there are may be a thousand rewards, but you cannot filter these in any way, for example what's near me (nearest city etc), what's suitable for certain age group, and other filters. In addition the reward description refers to the link to the partner's website being below, but I did not find one.
Finally chose a reward to use my vouchers - a gardening magazine given its time to think of summer flowers & veg etc, all looked good on the partner site, so ordered the Tesco voucher - to find that the earliest I would receive it was the end of May - in 3 months time and too late for planting- almost a waste of vouchers (not necessarily Tesco's fault), but the app is badly lacking

So much easier

I use the Tesco club card app also Tesco pay. So easy to collect points without rummaging for your club card and looking for them misplaced vouchers they are all together in one place now on the thing u take everywhere. Your phone! Also because I have Tesco mobiles I get more points from my bills and family perks so they all convert over... the app is the way forward for me. Means less time raiding the home looking for vouchers and Clubcard... happy shopping. Happy life 🙋🏼‍♀️

But Star rating for Tescos 3

I have to agree with barneyrouter, the only reason for Tescos to keep giving you vouchers early is to avoid a few pence, we should have the option to request vouchers or to carry on saving the points, this would stop the paper getting wasted and postal costs, I have lost so much in the past due to not being able to spend the voucher due to having no money or ill health. Tescos need to give us all the option to opt in or out of the automatic voucher system. Anyway rant over nice app thank you

Find the app very helpful

I find it really helpful that you have within the Tesco ClubCard app exactly the vouchers that would normally be sent to you through the post - this comes in handy IF you’ve left your paper vouchers at home. I also like that when you go to the “vouchers” section, it alerts you to vouchers which are about to expire... And finally, I like that if you do not have up to £1.50 in vouchers, your points are carried over to the next period.. At least that has always been the situation with my own set of circumstances. Typical of Tesco’s. A rushed out app to hit a target date no doubt. You really haven’t thought about this.
You send me an email inviting me of all the new functionality and I can’t use it as can’t log in? Firstly you ask me to reset my password. Annoying but ok I’ll do that. Then you ask me for characters 11, 13, & 16 of my Clubcard? I’m a credit card holder. My card is my clubcard? The numbers on my credit card don’t work.
Poorly thought out development and badly released. You really need to start mapping out emotional customer journeys before you release such trash. You do so much damage to the Tesco’s image

Love 💖 this App

I like the fact you can see how many points you have!! And your money vouchers go into the app so you don’t lose them!! . Plus you can see what special offers are on!! And you always have your Clubcard with you!! . And I saw that one person said they where losing points when they got their vouchers!! No you don’t if they don’t make up a full pound they are just carried back onto your app!! You don’t lose them!! .

Losing points at the end date

So I been collecting points for nearly a year now and I’ve noticed every time the date finishes the extra points you have because you didn’t reach the next target are scrapped and then you have to restart again, I think we’re being mugged off because they should carry over the points that you have spent your hard earned money on for them to warrant you to spend another £150 pound for a £1.50 voucher is ridiculous if they carry over your points that you didn’t manage to reach the target for each time then it would make it a little bit more fair as spending a lot of money each time to only lose points doesn’t seem to make any sense to me or probably most of your customers, sort this out and make it so points carry over if you don’t reach the next target because you’ve already spent nearly £350 in store for a £3.50 voucher. Seriously sort it out Tesco, hence why a lot of people go to Aldi or Lidl these days because you rip people off and it’s the exact same stuff just repacked with a different label by the exact same company who make the original stuff anyway

Great App

Came across this app by accident and I’m already enjoying using it. Can’t fault it at the moment, it helps keeping tabs on your points collected and how long you got left till your next statement. The more positive thing is I can see what coupons I have which is great because I always forget my paper ones at home, but now I have it with me in the go within the app and it’s so easy to access.
Great app, can’t fault it yet!! Good work Tesco.

Amazing

Good to keep tabs on your spending and what your collecting~if you ever forget you club card or the fob doesn’t scan it is always a useful backup, good that you can now scan and spend your vouchers right from the app and have a never ending list of coupons to spend in the app, if your mail goes missing like me from Tesco then it is good to know if someone has pinched them also gives you an alert of expiring coupons to spend before the expire.

Excellent app

Previously, I lost lots of vouchers because of expiry date (although helpful staff at Tesco moved the expiry date even 6 months later). Now it’s easy to convert vouchers and know when they are going to expire. Not need to keep checking paper vouchers and enter those numbers while trying to convert. I haven’t checked what notifications are available. So far, there are no notifications. It’s useful if a notification appears on locked screen mentioning about vouchers nearing expiry date and about good deals. With that, this would be a five star app.

Paper vouchers no longer needed

It has long been an irritation that, unlike Nectar where points were stored on your card, and could be spent from your card directly, to spend Tesco Clubcard cashback you had to remember to take the paper vouchers with you.
The Clubcard app means that finally we no longer have this inconvenience, your cashback vouchers are stored in the app, and you can now just scan them at the till to spend them: so much more convenient!
