The search feature is a mess
I really love doing the quizzes on this app, but it’s so difficult to find any because it literally pays no attention to my search; I typed in Brooklyn nine nine quizzes and an article about trump came up. Please fix this!!!

Useless
Doesn’t allow you to sign in!!!! Also you type in answers for quizzes and doesn’t recognise the answers. For example name 30 Lady Gaga Songs, seems simple enough but then you type in bad romance and doesn’t recognise it lol

To improve
I wish buzzfeed gave you the option to delete your comment or change your username. I made my account with gmail which is my first and second name then a number. Because buzfeed automatically set my username to something served from that and I didn’t realise my username is my f/n my s/n and then the number. And I hate that people now know my full name so make an option to change your username and delete comments and it will be 5 stars from me by until then 3 stars

Improved! But still room for further work
I'm having an issue with third party content in buzzfeed: Instagram posts don't load in the app which usually leaves half of the story blank; if they do load, they are MASSIVE and you have to scroll for ages to get back to the article; having an issue where full tweets don't show as well so in order to see a tweet I have to then click on the tweet and go back to the respective article! Swiping on Instagram posts with arrows via the buzzfeed app also either sends me directly to the Instagram post or makes me swipe onto the next article which isn't what I want to do.
Not all quizzes show comments at the bottom which is annoying.
I wish there was a feature to save pictures like there used to be before

Don’t bother!
It’s an enjoyable app for the first month but over time you see so much recycled content, the articles are getting so boring! The app is basically unusable a year down the line unless you like seeing the same pictures with different captions that they seem to change to suit the storyline. Its a shame because the actual layout and design of the app is so user friendly. They need far better editors and writers, I’m sick of seeing the same recycled crap everyday!

Kind of like the royals a bit too much
I know a lot of Americans think we Brits love the royal family but there are a great many of us who believe we should be a republic. It is odd that BuzzFeed loves the royals so much considering that the monarchy is pretty much the opposite of their values (except the love of celebrities, which the royals really are.

Not what I remembered
I had this app a while ago and had fond memories of getting a laugh from it. Since redownloading it I was baffled by the astonishing amount of pure tosh on it. It feels like EVERY idea the writers have gets published. Maybe it’s me but who cares what tv character you are obviously it’s more than just that but that being the link that was repeated over and over. Not for me. Good luck

Ad’s have driven me away
Your new autoplay audio ad’s littered throughout your articles have made the app unusable. If my earphones are in to listen to music, it stops my music which doesn’t restart. If my earphones are out then, as a commuter, I become a nuisance to those around me. Customer lost today, and I expect I’m not the only one.

Night mode please
I love the app but it would be a 10x better experience if you introduced a night mode for those of us who settle down by taking quizzes or reading buzzfeed articles as the white/blue light makes it harder to get to sleep!

tweaks
i love this app sooo much. however it does need a few tweaks. 1. ads. seriously? how many ads do you need to include. it’s really annoying and i don’t really see the point in adding ads anyway🤔 2. online and offline. why do we have to have wifi in order to do some quizzes or whatever. i’d like it if we could do these entertaining quizzes online and offline. most of my apps i have on my phone are internet based and is appreciate it if you could sort this problem out, so that i can enjoy doing quizzes offline as well as online. apart from these two things, as far as i see, there are no more problems. i’d suggest you sort these two problems out so that people will love this app more and can enjoy this app whenever they want

Fan of the app but the ad click sensitivity for the Liftoff ads is way too high... I get taken out of the app and into Safari around 3 times a session because an ad click has mistakenly been registered while I’m trying to scroll. Incredibly annoying 😩

Eagerly waited for the latest update to (hopefully) resolve the app randomly closing itself.. unfortunately it’s not done anything to correct the problem. Back to Safari it is!

How would I ever know what sort of sandwich I would be if it weren’t for buzzfeed quizzes?
Also top notch for finding out what the kardashians are up to, what doggos have been doing on tumblr and where abouts you should go to eat if you ever go to Iceland.

Great, but...
Hi all at buzzfeed, I think your app is very good; it’s accessible, quick, interesting and I’ve had non of the ‘slow download’ problems others have complained about. I think your news stories are great, they’re suitable for anyone to read and cover a range of topics. However, my one complaint is that your quizzes seem to be geared more toward females.
As a trans guy, I don’t want to be curating the perfect Urban Outfitters/H&M/American Eagle outfit fit for a woman, and there is rarely an option for more masculine clothing in these quizzes. There are other quizzes of course, and I find these entertaining, but I love the ones where there are unisex options for choosing clothing!!
My last quip is I would also suggest quizzes that allow you to make the perfect woman, instead of just the perfect man. Some would argue making the perfect woman would be sexist, but the perfect man? No... that’s fine (I’m being sarcastic). Please get onto fixing that soon.
Overall I love your app, but it would be great if there were other masculine options in quizzes, particularly clothing ones, and I ask that you clearly establish the boundaries for sexism in quizzes from now on, or at least aim to show demographic equality in the quizzes you do publish.

Fallen out of love with buzzfeed
Buzzfeed used to be my go to as soon as I picked up my phone, now I have become largely irritated by it. My partner and I used to love competing by doing the quizzes at the same time but now they are these incredible boring, identical quizzes ‘name your fave ...... and we’ll tell you your star sign or soul mate’ it used to have articles I would spend hours reading one after the other but now I am barely on it for a few mins. Sorry buzzfeed but it’s no longer for me.

Honestly the app is plain awful. Most of the authors have dog filter profile pictures and clearly do not know how to write. All of it is clickbait and written purely for clicks.

Great......when it loads
Mostly it’s a good app, the sort of app you go to when you’ve checked all your other social media’s and you just want something to scroll through but lately when scrolling through articles- particularly ones which are mostly pictures/screenshots they just don’t load after the 4th or 5th picture and you’re left with a load of grey squares with captions, obviously you wait a little bit for them to load because “my WiFi might just be slow” but nope they ain’t loading please fix this
