As of release of 2.65 and later we recommend upgrading to iOS 7 or later, if possible, to continue to receive BLB app updates. As of 2.65 we will no longer be providing updates for older devices not compatible with iOS 7.0 or later.

Had this a few days and using daily. Great to have a good selection of Bibles at finger tips, plus modern commentaries. Bit miffed accessing commentaries from text is proving frustratingly difficult. Usually takes up to five or more attempts.

This is a fantastic tool for bible study
This app has literally brought the bible to life for me. I can do my own research through the different features , testing ideas and opinions, checking the Greek and Hebrew meanings and that is just a few of the options. The research , expert knowledge and studies taken from years of work are right here for free. Seriously, thank you guys, great job

What a gift…
This is such a special gift to anyone who wants to delve into Scripture. The interface on the mobile could do with a lot of finessing. But this is only a minor quibble because it is such a fully-featured & excellent app… 4.5/5

This is the sort of app that has you hooked!
Different versions of the Bible - with a seemingly endless set of resources for every verse of the Bible: here’s a few
- different versions; you can have two versions side by side to compare
- auto scroll, which scrolls the text for you so you can focus on reading.
- You can see the words of the original language. This is an absolute game changer when it comes to Bible Study - seeing the original Hebrew/Greek words and their meanings, and other verses where they are used
- Commentaries on each text - take your pick, there are several to choose from
- make Notes, highlights etc
- hear the pronunciation of the Hebrew and Greek words at the press of a button

Good, but has limitations
I have been using Blue Letter Bible on iPad more than 5 years. Very pleased with how it works while connected to wifi.
Away from wifi the number of bible translations is limited.
I would be happy to pay for additional bibles to save for use offline.
Another disappointment is inability to search WLC using Hebrew words. The web based version of BLB does allow this. Why the difference?

This app has been an incredible help in my studying of the Bible. You just tap on a verse and have the choice of interlinear and going to the original language for each word and all their meanings and other ways they're translated, there's lots of cross references for each verse, dictionaries and commentaries. You can bookmark and take notes on verses too. It's really deepened my study of God's word. Thanks for this great tool!

Changed my life!
I love the Hebrew and Greek tongue!
It’s such a beautiful way of writing! I use Hebrew words a lot in my art work and my books! I can now copy scripture in Hebrew into my books and onto my art! I love also how we can read it in one of the very first languages the bible was written in!

Simple, User friendly daily study aid
I love Blue Letter Bible App. I use it all the time as I follow the daily reading plans, which are so easy to tick off. It’s easy to quickly check Greek or Hebrew word meanings and switching between Bible versions or comparing them is a doddle. Thanks BLB

Gods living word for today.
The BLB is an excellent way to study the living word of God. It’s been an absolute Blessing to my life reading and studying as a born again Christian. Resource rich Bible App
I use this most for the Bible in a year function. There are seven different patterns you can choose from. I'm really enjoying reading it chronologically. And every day there is a box to tick when you are done!
I love the highlights that you can set yourself and the colour scheme so you can change the background and make it friendlier on the eye (great for dyslexic people)
Change font size as well.
Write your own notes against specific verses.
There are a load of other teaching notes available too I think (I don't use these very often but have used and found useful).
Can be used online and offline
Only downside is more versions of the Bible are available when it's online, so if you like to use the NIV all the time you can't if you are in a field with no internet.
Otherwise it's awesome.

Brilliant tool
BLB is a wonderful app to help study the Word. I really like that I can find the original Hebrew word and the different meanings for that word. By doing this I can have a fuller and more meaningful description of what is being said in the Bible.

Excellent app. Multiple bible translations, immediate access to all the books and access to Hebrew and Greek translations of the text (with interlinear reading and commentary) make this a most useful tool for reading the Word of God.

Hide the word in your heart
I thank God for the labour of love that has gone into producing the Blue Letter Bible. I use it every day and have been so blessed by the ease of connecting to the concordance, the commentaries and translation comparisons. The Blue Letter Bible was my constant companion through Bible Collage and continues to help to "hide the word in my heart that I might not sin against You" (Psa 119:11). Essential App for all Christians
