Should be better
I spent half of the last match with it just showing the countdown to the next match - not helpful when the only web stream showing the game had no scores displayed, so literally no clue who was winning!!

Over the last few days the app won’t download any stories saying they can’t be fetched; can you solve this please?

Better than old app but sometimes lags
This app is much better than the old generic app used by Leicester Tigers. Outside the stadium it is usually very responsive but occasionally,especially, in the stadium can lag. Realise this may be due to the mobile data signal but have had issues at home on WiFi. Usually issues with Matchday live.
I only have one real big gripe with the app to do with the Leo Vegas ad. It’s so easy just to mistakenly touch the ad and be taken to the gambling company website. I think this is an issue as app age rating is 4+ Contains no objectionable material. I think that this link would fall foul of Apples guidance for App age limits.

As a suggestion how about putting the ref link / fan radio via the app as an in app pay for option so fans that cant get to the game can still listen to it via the 👍

Much better than the old one.
The app is much better since the redesign and can actually be used now. I like the idea someone else had about adding a ‘ref link’ option, I would pay for that. You can use the app to vote for your player of the match and pick someone who hasn’t even been on the pitch all game.
Since the recent update the ‘rugby explained’ section doesn’t work on my iPhone SE - but now since removed so it’s all good again.

I love the Match Day Live feature. Get live match action on your phone before you can get it on the BBC sports app or anywhere else.

An official App at last
Nice to finally have and app with some good features, needs to be "polished" as some areas are not optimal. The worst thing is the notification icon that will not go away!!

Software development not finished
Excellent concept but needs to be properly finished by the developers. Refresh is not automatic whilst checking live match. Notification icon doesn't switch off after starting app and viewing all the options.

Looking good so far. Like the ease of access to information through the app. It's keeping things simple and doesn't try to be too flashy which is what I like. Hopefully only more good things to come 👍

Poor quality
Been neglected in favour of the mobile site. Why exactly? There is the basis of a decent app with the content available.
It also looks like it has been designed as a school project using Appshed. The club is better than this.

Good for a quick check on previous match results, upcoming fixtures and current table positions.
Keep track of score throughout matches, some people say live score is a bit slow to be updated but if you're nowhere near a tv you'll be very gals of this app.

More thought needed
This app in theory should be very good. There are a lot of sections containing such things as player profiles, live score and club history. However the way this app has been put together is not of the quality I'd expect from an outfit such as Leicester.
The developers have decided to go down the road chosen by the Guinness Premiership app, that is to have the large majority of the content hosted online rather than in the app itself. So if you have a very good data connection you shouldn't have any problems in navigating around the app. If you do have a poor data connection, or worse none, then this app becomes unusable. If the data connection drops during use, the app will lock up complaining about the cellular network. Unfortunately you won't be able to leave that page until the connection is resumed, meaning I had to exit the app completely and re-enter to view a different page. Even static content is not stored in the app, so if you navigate away and back to the page, it has to be loaded again.
The general look at feel is also a little awkward and not really thought about. The navbars come and go as you navigate from page to page in a very ungraceful way. Perhaps a little more care with the choice/use of function used in coding would help here.
Overall though it has player information, match information and news. As long as you have a good internet connection and you are not worried about the app being smooth in operation, then its usable. If you live in an area with a poor data connection, or are easily annoyed by a lack of aesthetic, I wouldn't download this, the Gunniess Premiership app would be a much better choice.

While all the content is there the app is let down by both an odd implementation which has information accessible through both a landing screen and the tabbed view combined with the unnecessarily sluggish scrolling in it's table views. This means that i can only give it 4 stars but on the plus side it can all be fixed in a relatively simple update.
