I *bought* this App many, many years ago, upgrading from the ad-full free version.

I used it back then mainly to enable instant access to 2 different Facebook accounts without continually logging in and out of the FB App.

I have recently, after several years of not using it, attempted, without success, to log in; I can find no reference to the App having been discontinued (but I do find that the ‘most-recent’ reviews are 4 or 5 years old…).

I wonder if anyone (the developer?) can shed some light?!

Great little app

A good solid performance not sure what the lootsie thing is about but lots of options. Ps download this app to save iPhone real estate. Eg Facebook.

Not very convenient

I persevered with this app. After all, I'd upgraded from free version because the ads made it unusable. However, after a week, I'm binning it. Too much effort to log in and out of gmail to check 2 accounts. More convenient to use all the free apps separately. There are better mail apps.

Useful App

This is a good app. Easy to use and it's great to have everything in one place. I run my own business so I can use the app solely for business use and have the other associated apps for personal. I like the way it's automatically synced through all devices! Just the occasional glitches that stop me from giving it 5 stars.

Anyway, it's a good app. Can't see all the app icons when editing, no way to scroll. No back button in lots of situations.

Pointless app, just a slow browser

I purchased the app because it said buying the extras would get you extra apps and extra pocket change rewards. In the paid version you can no longer earn pocket change, I don't understand why. Surely you should earn more for paying! Also the extra apps have poor comparability.

This app is just a web browser which is slow and clunky and doesn't respond accurately. Half the "apps" cannot utilise the back button making them useless to navigate. The push notifications don't work. The entire thing is a mess. I thought I would save space by combining my apps into one. But instead I'm just frustrated by the poor execution of this one.

Worse app I ever purchased

Absolute rubbish guys! Install it, open it, check your email (extremely slow compared to checking gmail out of app), try logging into Blogger, discover that everything is resized to enormous proportions that can't be viewed on an Ipad, go to google+ and discover everything is ridiculously small so that is also difficult to use! Then it suddenly throws you into a google search page which you can't leave at all - no way back to email so the only way out is to uninstall it. I know developers have to work against the arrogance of apple who really don't want us to actually DO anything with the iPad but can we please be allowed some apps that at least do the basics?

Good but needs a bit of work!

This app is a great idea but it needs a couple of changed to it:

1. Stop crashing. This app crashes a lot so be aware!

2. The whole app has to speed up! Loading up your emails take ages! Going on the Internet takes ages!

So G-Wizz stop the app crashing and speed up the app!

Useless product

I thought this might be good but it doesn't seem to work very well.

In particular when I find a Google News story and tap on the title it opens the browser but then nothing happens. Doesn't find or open the page.

Just perfect.

Just when you want an app that puts everything you use in one package along comes G-Whizz...no more single tap Facebook, Twitter or Mail it's all there in one app with much much more...my wife showed me this terrific app and I am glad she did...I have not had a chance to investigate what the whole package is but if it is as good as what I have first found, then I am sure is will be simply superb.

Worth every penny!

I rely on Google Apps for work and this app has been a magnificent time saver...no more web browsing to my sign-in page, etc. etc. Everything Google in one place and easy to access and use when on the move. Twitter and Facebook inclusion makes this a game changer...if you've got Gmail, Docs, twitter and FB then this app is a must for you.

Good app, not all functional

The best app i could find so far for reading gmail, includes labels and filtering, rarely any bugs. However all other functionalities like google talk, Facebook etc, not really usable. Firstly they are on a separate section, which means, you need to shift between email to chat and only get chat notifications when on the chat section. (For example) so not really efficient on that level.

Far too slow, lacks simple things like a 'back' button in Facebook after clicking on a photo etc making life harder. For example having to refresh the page and scroll all the way down to where you last were.

People may love the "everything in one place" feeling, but, personally I'd much prefer 3 separate apps which perform to a high standard, than this low level attempt.

Everything where I want it

Excellent tool and now my preferred method of accessing all my accounts. Little touches would make it 5 stars. Offline working with auto synch when online; share posts in Facebook; and not having to wait until my comments are posted before doing something else in the app which then prevents the comments being posted? Otherwise awesome!

Really useful, but..

This app has been of great use to me. It's great to have all of Google's apps in one place to use on all my iOS devices, the interface is easy to navigate, and essentially any issues with using this app are really just issues I have with Google's mobile interface and not with the app itself.

I did expect more - a dedicated document application to edit Google Docs on, for instance, but this app focuses on the convenience of having them all in one place more than integrating Google apps into a certain type of interface.

That said, since Google's own app was upgraded a while back, they did all that in a much cleaner interface, especially on the iPad. So it's this or Google's own, both do the same job now.

Works OK but needs refining

In principle this app is very handy, but few issues stop it being truly good.

1. Notifications stop working after 10 minutes if you multi-task to a different app. Sure you get reminded of this but having to open the app every 10 mins is a non-starter

2. If you set it so you are a Google Apps user then Notifications stop altogether. But if you just login with a Google Apps account they work!

3. If you use Gmail multi account signon facility then badges & notifications go haywire.

However this app is good especially for Google Talk - just sort out Notifications & 10 Minute timeout please

Gee whizz

The idea is good, but it's still buggy. For instance: when I want to type in a search term, the keyboard keeps disappearing after each key stroke - searching becomes a time consuming hassle that way! Other things don't always work immediately either, or the app crashes... The idea is good, though, so keep at it!

Gwhizz is a versatile little app that packs a punch allowing you to access all areas of the net and social networking sites. The only downside would be the inability to cut copy and paste from Facebook. Over all I love this app and if the developers amended the lack of cut copy and paste it would be ranked among my top 10 favourites.

A few issues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The five star rating is to keep the updates coming, I would really have given a two! Not tried much of it yet, though Facebook seems to work well. My main beef is with the app that I initially downloaded it for "picasa" it is totally awful and disgusting that Google should allow something as bad as this to be connected to it's name. All you get are pixelated little thumbnail type pictures to look at and no way of downloading them onto my iPhone 4 ios 5, it's next to useless. Sort it out Google before I delete it and let you keep your rotten £1.49 !!! As for bribing us with free updates in exchange for a 5 star rating, well that just shows how crap this app really is doesn't it, you should be thoroughly ashamed of yourselves.

I was just looking for an app I can use for web browser instead of safari. I m well impressed about the design and fast connection. Different pages and you don't lose where you left on the page. Love it ! No need to buy Facebook or twitter apps all in one...

Great app for apps

The email, twitter, chat, google docs and web app are all great, but the Facebook app isn't as comprehensive as the standalone one and noticeably doesn't include facebook chat which I find to be quite a missing feature.

Overall though I probably use this app more than any other

Best thing is the google apps experience - if you use a lot of the plugins in google apps you can pretty much run out of this app with a slight loss of function.

I downloaded it a while ago and stopped using it. I started using it again as I think it has improved significantly. :-)

Needs work

I have had login issues on iPad 2. One day it's working fine, the next it won't login. I found my login details had been erased, but finding where to re-enter them was not intuitive. Also I do not use Myspace. Would like the option to remove the icon from the bottom bar. Overall can be handy though.

Overall pretty good but buggy issues

Good combination of google tools and a nice browser interface however have had issues with changing accounts and I still can't enter any info on my calender. If those issues were fixed it would be a 5 all the way!

Very very disappointed!

I'm a fairly regular user of google products but this app has let them down. On logging in it told me my email address was wrong - it really isn't. It still let's me in to browse but then repeatedly crashes and fires multitudes of error messages at me! It fundamentally won't do the task it was designed for. I should clarify that my email is on hotmail - I hope this isn't the cause - I don't want several diff email clients set up when I only need one. I can access google services via hotmail fine on Internet. All I want is to access my google docs and feeds! I hope they fix this.

Brilliant app, just lacking the official touch.

A must have for regular users of googles many brilliant services, makes it a lot quicker to access rather than going though safari. Just lacking googles official app feel and missing few of those extra options but well worth getting.

Needs work!

The app is useful and going in the right direction. But google docs needs work especially the interface when it comes to using spreadsheets. Right now it's a bit buggy, but once that's all cleared up with future updates it will probably be 4/5 stars!

Great Google app!

I've been using G-Whizz for over a year now after my husband recommended it for Gmail/Google docs/G calendar on the iPhone. It's very intuitive, does exactly what I want and the developer is always happy to receive feature requests and troubleshoot any random issues. Highly recommended - it's definitely one of my 3 most used apps.

Limited calendar functionality

I only use the calendar, but wish it had the full choice of options when creating a new entry, like repeating, setting alerts, and creating all-day events. Very reliable though.

FINALLY, an all encompassing Google app that puts everything into one.

A good all-rounder except:

1) the desktop type views are a good idea but present compatibility issues and don't always work;

2) oddly enough, not all my calendar items appear here, though they do in my google calendar app??

Privacy question

I really like this app, and it's great being able to just login and have all your accounts there and ready. Only question is there a way to be able to put a privacy password on for the whole app, rather than having to log out of everything and log back into everything every time I leave it lying around at work etc?

Could it be something optional in settings?
