New update - lost all my historical photo strips from 10+ years ago

There seems to have been a complete redesign with a new app which has completely wiped out all my old photostrip pics - no notice or choice of letting this happen or with the opportunity to download first. I’ve lost pics from over 10 years ago, completely gone unless you can advise how to recover them via the app?

Was 5 Stars but then they updated it

This app was brilliant. You would open the app and take your photos and you strips would be there. Then they updated it so you have to create an event and add a theme or template. It’s just pants now. Please let me just take it back to how it used to be!!!

Party fun

We used this app at my 40th birthday party and it was a huge hit! Easy to figure out & was in constant use over the 5hrs. I would love to see different frames to purchase as an add on, in different party themes. I would love to do this for my daughters upcoming Frozen party!

Used for years

When I got my first ever iPhone 4 back in 2011 I got this app as my first every paid for app. It's fantastic and I've used it ever since!! I absolutely love it. It's fun and just something silly to mess around with.

A tad disappointed...

This is a brilliant App for those of a certain age that will remember the retro photo booth (now replaced with the identical four picture booth) and amazing value for money... I was however slightly disappointed to find that I'm not able to use existing photo's to make a strip more unique. x

I firmly believe a product you buy is the full product you get, not something that has add ons to milk you for more money. I understand the commercialism of it all, but that does not mean I have to like it.

Not what I expected

By reading other reviews I was expecting this app to be a lot better than what it was. I thought as I paid for the app that all different filters would be with it but I was wrong. You only get the one filter which is black and white, I'm really disappointed and wish I had bought another app similar to this one.

This App is a must have for photo geeks!

Great app but don't send for the strips because they don't turn up! They said they would send more but nothing turned up. Apart from that it's not bad disappointed about the print and ship though , I had paid for it and been mugged!

APPsolutely awesome update

I have been waiting for ages for this update & it is even better than I expected. This is an extremely handy photo application with yet another update for iPhone 5 to come in the very near future. As a Premium Member Reviewer for AppReviewerPro I have no qualms about awarding this 5 stars, it was a 5 star app before this update, so fill your boots. If you don't get this app, it is to your disadvantage as we will all be having fun whilst you are spectating.

Best photo booth app

Love this app really easy to use and gives get options including colour black and white and sepia. Haven't worked out how to print on my own printer would be good if there was instructions or photo printing paper u could buy. I think they would make more money on that as you want your pictures instantly. Looking forward to more features.

You need to get this. Everyone is impressed by it. You can send the pics to your friends via the phone or post. It's so easy to use which makes it even more fun.

I highly recommend you AVOID this app.

Why are some customers enduring crashes when there seem to be so many satisfied customers?

Only 6 'strips' of shots were taken before the app started refusing to run past the title screen. It opens, but as soon as I try to take photos or retrieve shots, it closes itself. Not good. Nothing I have tried during the last few months has been able to revert this annoying trend. I shall be deleting the app.

And no support. If it were free, then hey ho, but it wasn't worth the money when it did work.

Good alternatives exist.

Retro-esque perfection

Really good but..

Love this app! But one thing I think is missing that will make it much better is rather than having to take a picture, another option to select photos from 'camera roll' but other than that highly reccomend:)

Love this app. Simple and functional, I've used it loads when out and about with friends to capture some silly and funny moments! Features are basic, but it does what it says so not fussed about lack of 'extras'. Really cute and fun little app,highly recommend.

Had lots of giggles with the girls using this app. Takes good pics and u can email, save or upload them to fb from the app. Just be warned that u may get sine strange looks from people who see u taking funny photos with yr mates!

Perfect For Photo Lovers

I am a fan of taking pictures; of my myself, others & objects etc.

This cool app really makes picture taking even more enjoyable. Especially when I am bored or hanging out with friends. It's better than going to an actual booth.

Definitely worth the buy.

What a lot of fun for 59p!!!

Agree that there could be more options, but still, loving it!! All apps start somewhere, and what a great start this one is! Just don't do what 'hipstamatic' did and start charging more for extra effects - cheeky and costly!!

All in all a fab app and I love that you actually see the photos 'arrive' like you do in a real booth!!!
