Won’t let you do store pick up.
They let you choose store pick up but won’t actually put the order through keeps ‘failed’ and ‘try again’ but as soon as you put home delivery and then have to pay for it to be delivered instead of free store delivery of course your order goes through.

The app is poor
The search functionality is poor. It’s hard to filter items. When items are out of stock in sale, sometimes the app doesn’t update for ages. The images are too small. There is no facility to set stock notifications whereas most companies offer that facility. Returns should be FREE! I didn’t even have free returns when I had the premier account & I didn’t renew my premier mentorship due to that.

Glitchy and annoying
If you click on an item to view it, it doesn’t always take you back to where you were but instead can take you back several pages. This is especially bad if you’ve added filters to your search criteria. Also, you can’t expand the view when you’re looking through items, you have to actually click on an item to see it. This is ok when you’re browsing on a laptop/tablet but is incredibly annoying when using a small screen like a phone. Then you never know if clicking the back button will take you back to the right place in your search.

River island has always been one of my favourite shops, high end fashion with a high street price tag.
Casual lounge wear, business to beautiful wedding to night time looks or simple drinks with the girls. My all round shop, I can always find something in River Island - I also love it has all sizes!
The men, children and the dogs look gorgeous too - what more can you ask for! Oh bath/shower and perfume, add a bag, new purse, shoes and nightmare you got it all - until the next holiday and well you know where I will be!

Remove the banners!!!!
Why have two banners with writing over them when trying to view the items?
It means it covers a quarter of the clothes and cannot be removed! I end up going back to the search on every item as can’t see them properly then don’t buy anything because it’s impossible to see what it’s like!
It was bad enough when you had to wait for “selling fast” to go now it’s been replaced with two permanent banners covered in writing!

Why do you estimate time of delivery after the payment transaction? Really disappointed because I try to estimate delivery , then have it sent to the shop as anxious no one may not be available to receive purchase at home to find out that your going to deliver to the store when it’s not going to be until the following weekend to receive it ! Fantastic Quality and Value
I shop at RI regularly for my grandchildren because the clothes are gorgeous and generously sized, so they fit for longer, but also because they are great quality and look just as good after 10 washes, as they do when first bought, making them terrific value for money.

The app is simple and easy to use. My only issue with most apps is that when you click on a picture it can take you back to the beginning which isn’t great. However I think it’s fast and easy to navigate. The clothes from here for my son are perfect that they come in different styles and sets making my life easier!

The best on the high street
Absolutely love river island, to the point I check for new items added every day. You just cannot beat the quality of there products, for both myself and my little girl. Choices are endless, designs are amazing, always coming up with something new & different. delivery exceptional, easy returns no problem. Sometimes the length is too long for me in some items as I’m only 5ft. As I’ve been buying from river island for so many years, I can kind of tell wether it will fit or not. Again it’s no problem returning an item. Having a return label , pull off stick on an go. The easy return makes a difference, nothing worse than buying online then having to spend loads of time looking and printing off labels . So annoying.
River island are so organised, easy use app.
So 5 stars from me for river island all round. Also the customer service when shops are open is exceptional too.

Years of Love for RI
Never really found the need to review but now realise just how important it is I do.
I have shopped with RI for many years for myself and my children.
I love the quality of the clothing and think it is mostly good value for money. Although I do find some item over priced.
I mainly use the app and have deliveries at home due to the current pandemic. Although I have used the store occasionally and have always found the measures put in place reassuring and showing the company value the safety of both the customer and their staff alike

This App is slow. Having to log each time which is fine. It’s the I’m not a robot test. The verifying is a long process. If the password has been remembered and are using you prints as a security. Surely the rest should not have to be completed. Also when using the print security it wipes out your email address so you have to type again. I nearly gave up. I buy nearly all my clothes at River Island. My one and only complaint is that when shopping online for shoes, it doesn’t say how high the heels are and you can’t tell from the photo. I wear high heels all the time, every day, but I have found that if they are even slightly higher than the ones I wear, I can’t walk in them and have to send them back. Other than that, lovely clothes and I’m an older lady.

Pictures load way to slow
This is generally a good app and I like that you can quickly add items to the wish list. However, in the past couple of weeks, when you click to view items the screen takes forever to load. Particularly when I’m shopping on the boys department.

Feedback on the app.
I’d love to see the option of sharing an item with a friend via WhatsApp. ASOS do this really well. Also being able to just tap on the item to save to your wish list rather than it being a clunky way around. Perhaps also look at videos of models to help give the customer more of an idea of how the clothes would look on. Hope useful!

Brilliant and easy to use shopping app.
Straight forward app which you can use Apple Pay. There are additional sizes and other brands which you can’t find in store; at last I have found a quality clothing company who sells jean with shorter leg length. The bonus part is that you can take your returns to your nearest River Island store without having to pay for return courier fee. Five Stars, no hesitation.

Perfectly good app for buying. Browsing is nice and simple and there is a good amount of information on individual items of clothing.
A couple of suggestions. First, if I have an account and am signed in, I don’t need to see women’s wear. It would be nice if I’m signed in that I only see clothes that are relevant to me. Second, why no Pay ?

Not really up-to scratch, was looking for a paid of fluffy espadrilles I had seen on the app the night before, but couldn’t find them in holiday shop or the shoes sections. I finally searched them and by luck found them. When doing so i also seen a Pair if white plimsolls. I added them to my basket, when making the payment my white plimsolls has been removed, so I tried to re add them only for a message (this product is no longer available) 😡 they where available 2 mins ago!!
