Used to work well...
...but since the last update it simply crashes when I hit any key. Shame, it's a nice little synth, I'd probably buy the MacOS version too if my iOS one still worked,

Strange app
It does what it looks like i.e makes sounds come from each keys, not great and when I close the app it seems to leave a big red banner saying "midi synth" :/ very strange app

Fun app, but won't open since updated.
Since the last few app updates, this app crashes instantly.

Fundamentally flawed at present
This is a fantastic synth apart from one very strange error - in monophonic mode, the release of notes overlap, making it polyphonic. This basically makes it non-authentic, and unusable for big electro house style basslines, which is a real shame as the timbres you can create have real potential.
I am not able to use this app with my Akai synth station until this bug is sorted. The developer said he was sorting it soon. That was 6 months ago...

Was over the moon with this app but for some reason it works fine for a day then when you come back to it the next day you can't get any sound from it? I've deleted and reinstalled three times now and on the forth it won't let me. I just says already installed... But I can't find it anywhere!!! Help anyone? Please... ? XD

IT WORKS!!!!
Nlog is amazing as an app! But when used with my Line 6 midimoblizer (£45) and midi keyboard it becomes a very powerful sound module. Ideal if your on the road or just after a, polyphonic, Moog style synth for less than £6.00!!

I bought this and the Line6 Midi Mobilizer, plugged them into my Oxygen keyboard and wow, a very cheap polysynth, happy bunny

Great app!! Fantastic quality with so much to use and experiment with!
Just one thing - would love to see a function to merge multiple recordings together to create bigger more complex sounds within the app. Other than that, a great job!!

Get it whilst it's cheap!!
What an incredible synth tool this is and more! It combines more into one app than 3-4 apps I have! Bought for £5.99 and don't regret that but £1.19 is incredulous and you shouldn't let this pass! It's a steal and well done devs, you have developed an incredible bit of kit! Big 5/5

The best
Got a few great synth apps but have to say this is the best by far. The sound is extremely good, the editing is responsive like analog. Hooked up to the synthstation 25 controller you've got a very powerful tool for £75 or so, a bargain.

Best synth on iPod bar none!
Who'd've thunk that you could have a full featured virtual analog in the palm of ur hand to rival the sounds of the big boys? Not me that's for sure..
..NLog surpassed all my expectations. It sounds great, has a great user interface - no small feat for such a small screen. It also has loads of professional features that no other iOS app can match (I have many of them). My faves include midi n wav export, copy n paste, ability to save and load patches n banks by email (as well as in the app itself), varied filters and unique modulation options.
The modulation is different from your average synth it has 2lfos, each having different targets, which is both a limitation and incentive to imagination x) There are 3 envelopes, filter, amp, and third can be routed to various targets. All in all it's very usable, but could be better.
Things I'd love to see in the future are - lfos that can work in one direction, reverse keyboard tracking (I want my higher notes to be lower in volume), more modulation options, maybe even a mod matrix, and multi-point envelopes.
Even without these this is the mobile synth ever, buy without hesitation!!

Great synth, but keeps crashing the Line 6 Midi Mobilizer. The only way to make it work again is to reboot the iphone. Im using iPhone 4 with ios 4.2. Once this is fixed I'd give it 5 stars.
