Great app but spamming notifications are awful
I have bought a German English dictionary why do you keep spamming me with notifications of huge discounts on Russian Italian dictionaries? It makes no sense and just makes me wish there was a better app so that I could stop you spamming me.

Best dictionary out there
It is definitely worth every penny of its price: sleek iOS7 design, rich vocabulary, multidirectional translation, etc. Absolutely love this app, even better than the desktop version. Would recommend it to everybody.

Useful!
The app is great because of it contains 50 basic dictionaries for 30 languages. I can choose the dictionary I need to download. I can get translations from the taken photos. The flash card can help me to learn new words easily. I can synchronize the cards between my iphone, ipad and ipod touch. It is great!

Great content as ever but pricing policy is horrible
I have been a user if Lingvo dictionaries for ages and I bought many PC versions. I would like to be able not to buy same dictionaries again for iPhone. At least PC customers should have a kind of a discount. Not sure if it's easy to so with the App Store. And in general dictionaries are a bit too expensive, but they are if the prime quality too - you wont't find anything better.

Bugs on iPhone 4s
The program don't wanna upload dictionaries, even when network is turned off and phone is only connected via wi-fi. One star for working without problems on iPad.

Nice, except the Price
I have to say this app helped me a lot when I have started educating myself on English law and finances which came with dozens of pages of words I did not understand, let alone know how to translate. I still use it every now and then when some serious writing comes up. But since apple introduced Siri virtual assistant she pleases all my needs by finding definitions of the words I ask her about in no time.
Considering the wide range of available dictionaries and its prices I expect this app to be available for free. No other downsides for me.

Don't listen to anyone I entirely believe Lingvo is the best Russian to English dictionary ever! (both directions) and on iPhone too, it is worth buying it for £30 full list of dictionaries. Finally I got it and now I'm happy.

What a waste of time
This app doesn't even have an English-Russian dictionary in it. Every time I tried to upload Russian-English one it kept automatically going to English-polish default. It is overpriced too!
Lingvo was a pioneer in dictionary software for windows and I used to use it at the beginning of my translation career at it was impressive. So when I saw this app, I thought "hooray" and bought it without asking any questions. But this app has convinced me that it's no longer the case.

Not up to scratch
Long time lingo user on computer, was really disappointed with this app. The basic package you get with the app is quite limited and is absolutely useless for an advanced or specialist user, whilst add-ons highly priced. There are cheaper and better alternatives out there.
