No subtitles?
I’d like to be able to view German subtitles to help with me with my language learning but this app doesn’t seem to support them. Nor does it via the Amazon fire stick. Please add that function ASAP

Great App, use it everyday
I am living in UK and use the App everyday to be up to date what’s going on in Germany and the world. It gives a different view to UK reporting on latest news. Very interesting...

Very poor content
Living in the UK it would be nice to have decent European news coverage for example from ARD. While their Mediathek App has not been updated to support iOS 11 the Tagesschau App is offering so most superficially edited and extremely short video clips. Very disappointing.

Very informative and stylish
This is a very good looking News App, always providing the latest news from Germany, the EU and the world. The App is in German, the EU's most common language.

Tagesschau
I'm a German national living abroad and have lived abroad for most of my life. Accessing and watching the daily Tagesschau is like maintaining an umbilical cord with my homeland at the same time as getting quality news from the whole world from a different perspective of the other media I follow.

Alte Version besser!
Die alte Version war so viel besser! Wo ist die übersichtliche Liste der wichtigsten Meldungen hin? Chronologisch ist doch Unsinn. Und die Titelseite ist so informationsarm dass sie nur im Weg rumhängt. Schade!
Na gut, dann halt BBC oder CNN...

Chaos
Bitte bringt die alte Version zurück oder wenigstens die Kurznachrichten im Überblick.
Es ist einfach anstrengend, sich durch den Informationswust zu wursteln, um irgendwann etwas wichtiges/ interessantes zu finden.

geht gar nicht!
Als im Ausland lebende Deutsche nutze ich die App schon seit Jahren.
Seit dem Update zum 2.0 ist sie praktisch nutzlos.
Ich möchte nicht in chaotischer Weise sehen, welche Neuigkeiten in den letzten 60 Minuten passiert sind, ich möchte eine Überblick, was wirklich wichtig ist - Seite 1 - Prinzip. Dann möchte ich Kategorien - Politik, Sport, Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft etc.
Ganz sicher möchte ich keine Videos, die man unterwegs niemals anschauen kann.
Für mich war/ist die App um Neuigkeiten in Kürze zu lesen, nicht für diesen Firlefanz.
Bitte einfach die alte Version wieder aktivieren. Klarer Fall von 'gut genug'!

Schade
The new app suppresses some very basic & essential tools such as the possibility to move back and forth on the videos. Why?!?!?!? Every video tool allows viewers to watch whichever part of it they want! So weird that the new Tageschau forces you watch the whole video from the beginning to the end. Also, it's a real shame they suppressed the "10 sec backwards" button. Very disappointing...

Die Schlagzeilen sind nicht mehr im Überblick zu sehen, die begleitenden Fotos sind riesig und unnötig animiert.
Das Gegenteil von Fortschritt, jedenfalls für die Nutzung auf einem iPad.
Ich werde ab jetzt die Internetversion benutzen.

Not usable on iPad 3 and iOS 8
Scrolling has become really difficult after upgrading my iPad 3 to iOS 8. The app is unusable for me. Going back to reading the news via web browser.

Tagesschau app
Sehr gute app. Besonders wenn man im Ausland lebt. Schade nur, dass der Sport in der Regel nicht gezeigt werden darf.

App doesn't empty it's cache
I'm glad the crashing issue is solved. However the app doesn't seem to clear it's cache. My app was 500MB big.
Delete and reinstall solved the problem but that's a pretty bad solution.

Gute App. Auch über 3G
Läuft bei mir seit einem Jahr sehe gut und stabil. Auch über 3G lassen sich die Nachrichten gut anschauen. Videoabstürze wie woanders berichtet kann ich nicht bestätigen.
Einzig die Datensammlung ist beträchtlich. Im Cache der App sammeln sich schnell viele MB wenn man sie regelmäßig nutzt. Nach 10 Monaten war meine Tagesschau App 1.8 GB groß... Deswegen auch nur 4 Sterne.
