Great App
I love quake feed, it keeps me up to date on what’s happening in near instant time. I know what’s happening to my family and friends who live in some very active areas! At the same time it makes you very aware of how volatile our planet is and can be, and how many of us live in surprisingly high risk areas.

Handy to have while working in the field
I flew to Turkey to assist the earthquake victims on a voluntary basis. Turk TV don’t give all the dates of subsequent quakes so it’s nice for me to be informed.

Brilliant App
This is the only earthquake app I have ever downloaded. I find it easy to use, informative, and packed with extras like the tsunami watches.
If you’re interested in monitoring earthquakes this app is well worth giving a go.

Excellent but missing an important Network.
This is a great app and I’ve subscribed for the past couple of years and find the data really good, with quick notifications from active areas.
However, the app is missing an important network, where seismic activity isn’t covered by USGS Network and that’s JMA (Japan Meteorological Association) which covers Earthquake and Seismic activities.
For example. There have been several earthquakes/seismic activity above 3.0 in and around Japan but IS NOT shown by the USGS.
The developers really need to incorporate this Official Body, in which there is a free app in the App Store that covers everything and to be honest, I thought a subscription would open up more options in this app.
Maybe, an update in the very near future could be implemented please?
Until, an incomplete app only gets 3 Stars.

Downloaded the app to give me up to date info on the Kos earthquake, I was there.. It is easy to understand and use. Didn't realise quakes are so prolific . Naughty quakes scaring us humans. 🙃

Great application bar one little thing
I have been using this application for a few years now and it is absolutely brilliant bar one little thing. When you go to have a lookout at where the quake was I wish it would start from a zoomed out perspective instead of a zoomed in perspective. That is my only moan about this application as everything else is brilliant and hence why the four stars and not five.

Not as good as it was
Been using this for years and was very happy with it.
Now has intrusive adverts and only an annual subscription to get rid of them.
Such a shame. If you’re willing to pay a fee every year to use it, you’ll enjoy it, but I’m disappointed in the latest “progress”.

British earthquakes aren’t being shown D:
Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love this app! I’ve learnt so much from it (like how California has WAY more earthquakes than I thought-) but one thing I have noticed is that British earthquakes don’t get shown on here-
There’s been plenty earthquakes around Scotland in the last 30 days and stuff like that, and it’s kind of unsatisfying to me that they haven’t been reported 😭
Overall though, this app is amazing and I really recommend it!

Excellent, but…
…the app constantly wants to swap between two quake sources. Then reports the same quake as a result. I want two sources, but I’m sure they used to work together. Asking if I want to swap source all the time is getting quite annoying.
Also noticed that I have imperial measurements setup, but get the reports in km!

Fascinating App
I don’t live in a susceptible area but I find it fascinating and sometimes worrying regarding the frequency and high magnitude of seismic events taking place all over the world. This app keeps you right up to date. Don’t quite understand the distance references though?

Interesting information clearly labelled a good notifications- I have mine set at 5 so I am notified of earthquakes over 5 magnitude worldwide.

Subscription update poor
Wow gone from good to ok to poor, everything that made it easy to use and intuitive has now gone. The reason is they’ve introduced a higher paid subscription, so if you want to use it like it used to be you’ll have to pay more!

This used to be a great app but they’ve changed all sorts of things, none of which constitute improvement. There’s far less flexibility now.

The best quake app for iOS
I've tried all the earthquake monitoring/reporting apps and this is by far the best. The interface is clean and simple, the map is excellent and easy to use, and the alerts are zippy and accurate. And it doesn't cost a penny. It's free to use, but even though I live in a country where earthquakes are few and far between I've paid the very modest annual subscription fee for the premium version, because this is a great app and it deserves to be supported. The new version (December 2020) is a terrific update, with loads of great new features and prettier base maps. The design is gorgeous!

Was Better Before
This app is good. However, as with most apps, since it has been updated, its recent updates have not improved the experience. Its main problem is that its notifications do not appear sometimes. One has to turn them of and on before they begin to work again and after a while it stops working again. Altogether a good app.

No longer works
This app used to be ok, in that it showed earthquakes all over, even though it was difficult to set it to up for specific areas. However, as of the last update, it doesn’t work at all - it crashes literally seconds after I open the app. I tried it days apart and still doing the same thing.

Slow and not comprehensive

Good app, but slow to report quakes
Nice app, maps, good bells and whistles with configurable alerts, rate, depth, location. However, surprisingly SLOW to report earthquakes. Alert received around 20 minutes after earthquake happened. What's the hold up?

Great, but could be better!
Takes 1 hour for data from seismograph to convert into an alert, that's my only criticism. No good for anyone in Canary Islands when La Palma slides into the Atlantic and creates tidal wave that will hit within 15 mins.
