It’s great!
I’m finding it so useful, thank you! A simple feature I’d really like is for a couple of extra shapes for us non sheet music guitarists - a 4 and 6 line ‘stave' for tab, and maybe a little chord box. Then it really would be the music software of my dreams 😀

Absolutely wonderful
I’ve been using this app on my iPad Pro for about 6 months and I can’t rate it highly enough.
I’m scanning and uploading my vast collection of sheet music and have been able get rid of a large filing cabinet as a result. It’s easy to read in low light conditions (I often perform in churches), easy to annotate and I’ve always got the right music with me.
I genuinely can’t believe how good the free version is!

Two ongoing issues
App works smoothly, with a refined look. The two issues which really make it difficult for me to use without annoyance are:
1. When using an Apple Pencil, there is no need for me to be able to write with a finger. Instead, I really want to be able to turn the page freely, by swiping as I do when not in ‘Writing mode’; it is hugely cumbersome to have to get out of writing mode by tapping on the small ‘X’, double-tapping the Apple Pencil that doesn’t always work or to carefully tap on the arrows left or right.
2. I am fortunate enough to have two iOS devices. Not being able to carry on writing or erasing notes between the devices is again hugely inconvenient. Exported files, even with the notes, don’t allow for further editing of what has already been written in. A file format that one can sync on any cloud based server so that the latest is always available on any devices signed in would be so useful.
I have fed back on these two issues years ago, and still not seeing improvements. I have seen these issues raised in forums as well. It shouldn’t be difficult to implement. Very disappointed.

This app is excellent
I am pleased with this app Piascore, it’s quite good I’ve been playing guitar for a few years and reading the scores and setting it up quite easy, and I just can’t understand why people give it two stars it’s well worth the price. Scanning the music sheets quite easy good quality. Turning the page over with a squint or moving your chin it’s not too bad needs a bit more improvement but it’s a pretty good idea, developer keep up the good work.

Game changer
The option to wink to turn the page has made such a difference. As an organist using a pedal to turn isn’t an option. Thank you so much for this app, it has allowed me to do so much more and has really helped in performance.
Just one tiny thing, the option of a post it note would be amazing then I could write quick notes for myself for the next time I played a piece.

Very reliable, with some useful features. Recommended to anyone who wants to go ‘score digital’.

Needs these fixes but otherwise really good…
Adding text: numbers should be same size as letters, not tiny! You often need to put numbers in a text comment.
Adding lines (dotted etc): would be nice to be able to move / rotate them afterwards rather than undo and try again!
It you accidentally erase all, would be great to be able to undo that! Speaking from bitter experience.
Metronome: needs simplified graphic or a flashing dot etc - and metronome saved with each item in a set list so you can have a quick reminder at start of each piece. The metronome looks realistic but is not useful exactly because of that.
Gestures: please get rid of “OK” after first use, as you have to switch on gestures, press OK, then tap on page to get back to normal view. So you engage gestures for hands-off page turning and ironically you them have to tap 3 times in separate places to actually get to the point where you can use it. I’ve deliberately made this particular comment verbose so you get the level of irritation I have with that one!
I have the free version but thinking of going to another (paid) app as these are really irritating.

I've been using this for some time and have been impressed with the way it works. It's a little bit pedantic here and there but in view of its complexity that is only to be expected. I would like to be able to add pages to an already created file but haven't found a way yet.

I use this every day
Excellent app. Easy to use and does everything that I need. I use the air turn for page changing and this is seamless.
When the occasional glitch arises, the developer responds very quickly.

An absolutely brilliant app!
This app has allowed me to add hundreds of pieces of classical piano music to my repertoire. The database of music files is truly massive and often has different arrangements from which to choose. The scans are generally high quality and legible, and when learning the different scores, you can easily annotate as you go. Though you can't save or export the files (that I know of....), having such easy access to so many pieces of sheet music is truly fantastic. The only quirk I've found with this app so far is that it tends to sometimes crash when using the search feature and opening files in succession. Even so, it’s still worthy of 5 stars.

Great for set lists! So easy to use on gigs
The app is easy to use, with any pdf, the writing feature is excellent to edit/write in fingerings or accidentals. Also you can change pages very easily, and the set list feature means you can order the scores before hand and title them, but if it changes last minute, you still have your back catalogue and just drag and drop to reorder. No more faffing with folders and sheets of paper!

If you play the piano (or any instrument really) and have an iPad, I honestly think you need this app. I was already very happy having all my sheet music on my tablet, but even though flipping pages was easier than with physical sheets, it was still annoying. This was just what I needed and it worked better than expected to be honest.

Great for saving guitar pdf
Excellent app. Easy to upload PDF’s , put them in different folders, and has saved me loads of printing as I now view on my iPad (it’s best viewed on a large screen so I did have to invest in a large screen)

Really helpful tool
Piascore helps me practice whenever I am. I like the easy integration with my iRig Blueboard and the experimental gesture control.
I also use this in conjunction with Transcribe+, a great slow downer. The two apps are happy to share the screen on my iPad.

Broken, then fixed (after 1* review)
Originally said: "Was good, then I updated. Big mistake, now it won't start. Reported bug, being ignored."
Finally got a response after 2 weeks saying fix "in next release", whenever that might be. Was actually 4 days, which was good, though 4 days to respond and two weeks to fix would've felt better TBH... So 1 star off for not testing and slow response, but otherwise a great app. Just need to work out what the purchases do, the descriptions are ... cryptic.

It’s OK, BUT ....
It’s not bad, but more limited than forScore. I’ve tried using it for a few months but don’t find it as intuitive as it could be. For instance, I asked other users to find a way of deleting multiple charts at once but they couldn’t. I’m sure it must be possible but we couldn’t do it.
There seems to be always one score open in the background with no way of closing that last tab. Odd.
Could not find a way of easily grouping a set of pages, could sort of fudge it with bookmarks, but not a great solution.

I have been using this for a while to display the words and chords to my songs. I now realise I can also add backing tracks and assign them to a particular song, very useful feature.

Crashed during public performance
I used to love the app, but after it got stuck showing me white screen, then crushed, and all that happened during the concert, I joined the army of my friends who don’t have faith into the technology.

Excellent bit of kit
Brilliant piece of software. Allows you to zoom in and crop PDFs for all pages or individually, cloud accessibility, IMSLP access, easy page turning, metronome function and so much more. Even though it’s free, the £3.99 to get extra functions (different metronome tones and tuning metre) is well worth the price of the base features given in the free version of the app.

So much is so good about this app. As a classical musician, having access to everything on IMSLP without having to print it is a bonus and all the tagging and classifying of scores works well. There just one feature I miss that is on a competitors app is variable split page turning. The split is fixed half way down the page on this app whereas it would be great to be able to have some flexibility on this to adjust it to where are rests are on the page. This will be different for each page in a particular piece so the app needs to remember settings within a piece.

A really great app but a few things need adding
This is a really good app for organising your sheet music.
As a performer you have to respond to returns and symbols on previous pages.
Unless you want to spend money on a foot operated Bluetooth page turner, this is bit of an irritation.
I simply don’t have 3 hands!
Perhaps a setting where you can put icon on the sheet music it would take it to the next point of the music.

Great app couple of tweaks would be ace
Really fantastic app! Couple of tweaks would make a big difference, in particular fixing some bugs when updating info for scores. If you want to add a composer you haven’t used before, as well as making other changes, you update the composer and then lose all the other changes you made which is a bit frustrating. Small thing but apart from that it’s great!

Truly Amazing!
On the iPad Pro, this is truly an amazing app, especially for a busker like me. The only reason it’s not at 5 stars because I feel it’s lacking key features: for example, adding and deleting pages to a score (which is sooo important for me!), or linking audio to a score :)

Amazing
This is an incredible app for managing and using my sheet music collection. Really flexible, easy to use, and even the advanced features are thoughtfully implemented. I can hardly believe it's free - I don't need the additional paid functionality, but I might pay anyway because quite honestly I'll probably pay for it because I think this developer totally deserves it for such a great app.
Oh yes, and on an iPad Pro it's just a dream come true for any musician!
