Since the recent update, you now can’t select which weapon to use. Excellent game though, been playing it for years. Hope the bug is squashed soon so that I can get back to playing it

DONT BUY FOR IPAD!!!
Goddam game won't even work for iPad half the time it crashes at the startup and the other times the damn buttons don't even work I mean I have tried to restart my iPad and delete the app and reinstall it nothing work it's just a piss take. Paid money for this crap go spend your money buying some new sense instead.

It's a great game with many dangerous ice age creatures, from wooly rhinos to sabre tooth tigers. The game comes with different maps for you to play on, with a variety of different weapons. And watch out for the infamous yeti!

This game is basically 'carnivores: dinosaur hunter', but it is set in the polar regions of the same planet, meaning ice age animals live there.
Although the graphics could be a bit better, the gameplay is amazing. You have to concentrate hard to be able to make a successful kill, and it takes time. It's quite tense as well, because various predators roam the island, and you don't know when one is going to pop out of nowhere and get you. Being able to connect up to other devices and play multiplayer would make this game even better. Overall, one of the best games out there. Try the demo first though...

Fun for a wile

This app and the dinosaur one is brilliant, but just a minuet ago I went to play on this one (ice age) and the controls have changed (how you turn around) and I can't control it probably - everything is opposite - however this has not happened to the dinosaur one. Please fix the 'turning control' problem and it will be brill! Thank you! :)

This game is very good and very addictive however it would totally be epic if you could add more animals, more maps and more guns. It would also be good if you could cage some animals and make a zoo with them while they are still alive and you have to feed them and people visit your Zoo. One last thing it would be epically epic if you could play online with friends!👻

This is a very good game, but like others have suggested, I think a zoo for tranquillised animals would be quite enjoyable. I also think that, having already done Dinosaurs and Ice Age very successfully, you could do a version with sea creatures, jungles, savannah and such. Prehistoric or not, they would be very fun!

2nd Best Game on iPhone! Get it!
Dare I update!? This game's better than Carnivores 2 on PC, although not as good as 'Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter', the iPhone's BEST GAME! The Relocation addition's vital and your compass heading is readable now. Love hiding up in the Infernus mountains with my rifle trying to kill my biggest/smallest of every species, so it even has longevity. Tip: You need to up the Sensivity to 3/4 in the options, or movement's too slow. But, I wish Tatem would fix the trophy room so that your best animals weren't overwritten by your latest kills when the room is full! Also, when looking through binoculars to see what size your quarry is, it's EXTREMELY ANNOYING when pigs and archeopteryx get in the way and you're given their weight instead!
9/10! Get it! iPhone 3 compatible. v1.4.1 Update DOES work, ignore 'Da.zza', he must be talking about Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter! (Which has finally been fixed and also works on iPhone 3 - get that instead, if you only want one Carnivores game)

There is nothing wrong but I think it needs a few more dinosaurs . I think in both of them ( normal carnivores and ice age carnivores ) I think you should do some animals in the sea and sky that would make them really great.

The graphics are a bit chunky and the yeti is said to be 8 tonnes heavy but I haven't seen any more than 4. The "not dangerous" animals will kill you. Buy the dinosaur one when they've fixed the crash.

Problem with the not so dangerous ones
Good as this game is there are a few problems
1. When the game says that an animal is not dangerous it actually means the animal will kill you at the earliest opportunity
2. Animals still seem to be able to kill you even in observer mode, I can deal with that but I'd rather not be mauled by a wolf whilst trying to learn a new map
Other than those two points the game is great and unbeatable (unbeatable except for the original dinosaur hunting version)

Gr8 game has a nice feel 2 it AND unlike most hunter games u can walk around! But me being a bit of a critic it needs more guns more prey and can it please say on the Megalosaurus not "not dangerous" because me and my friend have both been mauled by 1 can it say instead: "Dangerous if 2 close" also bears and sabre tooth tigers DO NOT charge??!!?!?!?!?!?!!?!!!? Please fix it's 2 easy otherwise. Also can the crossbow (x-bow) be a bit more powerful? I really like using it 2 take out deer herds but I need 2 many bolts to take em out... Might as well use the rifle also I like 2 hunt birds cos it's a big challenge hitting them because of their agility and size so can they at least give u 1 point? But all in all Gr8 game so its a 5 star from me :)

Very well made. Addictive and fun! Improvements could be made by adding water creatures, and carnivores having the ability to hunt herbivores. Still good though!

Great game needs survive mode like the other one! Also the bears and stuff which are meant to hurt you just run away so make them attack us. Also needs a knife so you can stab is they get to close!

This game is unplayable: on the 'choice of weapons' page, the 'Hunt' icon is greyed out; and the Help file, when you eventually find it, has no advice to offer about this.
The playing area seems to consist of a rectangular pathway bounded by walls that you can't see over or leave.
Where are the controls?
Where are the animals you're meant to be hunting?
No wonder this game is among this week's freebies: until the makers get their act together with a decent set of instructions and fix the dead 'Hunt' button, it's worth less than free!

controls could be better
generally not bad if not as good as the original. the map button and firing button are too close and I have died many times because of it. also when going to map from holding a gun and then back, I always find myself empty-handed...

Gr8 game :D but needs improvements!!
If the game is ment to be realistic then y does sniper shots to the head not kill animals and it takes about 3 shots!! also please make a sort of crawl button which allows u to get closer to animals and get a more powerful sniper :)

When are you bringing the yeti
You need the yeti or Bigfoot you could also add mutliplayer and the guns have to be better. Dino is 11 plus but this is 9 plus it makes no sense. You can't make much progress because the animals are faster and are harder to hunt get an update. The next game should be one if the following Greek monsters deep sea or sea monsters or dragons. This is cod with animals.

It's 3D graphics are really good but it seems to drain my battery loads, I think it should have more weapons like grenades and a zoo where you can see the animals ( which are alive) also sharks and other sea creatures would be cool. Maybe you could select your character before you start to play the game? Otherwise it's really good!!!

This is a great game but I think there should be water animals, get more points per kill, like army truck ,more animals and they shouldn't run away as soon as u see them. Also some animals shouldn't kill you. It says harmless then it kills you. Kinda annoying

Another great hunting experience but other than the animals nothing much has really changed...was hoping the weapons would be different but sadly there exactly the same as the ones from the dinasaur edition. The game itself is great but could do with an update with vechiles, more animals, more weapons...would defo get 5 stars from anybody then =]

An amazing game, completely addictive and never gets boring. Just one little thing, It runs the battery down on my ipod touch seriously quickly.
