The Fighter Verses Bible memory system was created to help believers persevere in the fight of faith by arming them with God's Word. Designed for children through adults, this system allows individuals, groups, or entire churches to memorize and review at their own pace.
The Fighter Verses application includes the following features:

When using the "Listen to the Verse" feature for Bible translations other than ESV the app will now default to having Siri speak the verse to save you the time of recording it, but making your recording still allowed as an alternative.

Wow. Must have app
It hasn't been 24 hours yet since buying this app and I already have a verse memorised! Such a great app, very helpful! I like the fact I can set the verse as a background on my phone and also the quizzes which are great! Thanks Desiring God.

Truly life changing app
This app has helped me so much. Verse of week appears whenever I unlock my phone. Plus Quizzes and other tools make memorising scripture less daunting and more engaging. Top marks!

Excellent tool for memorising Scripture
I love this app, it is so helpful in so many ways. Unfortunately NKJV is not one of the versions included, so my wife is unable to benefit from the app as I am because she reads that translation. I'm actually quite surprised NKJV is not included, but its an excellent app nonetheless!

Solid
I've never been one for memorising bible verses. There's no particular reason for that other than I wasn't sure where to start and I can be kind of lazy sometimes. Anyway, one of my friends recently mentioned he wanted a bible memory app. And I started thinking about memorising bible verses. I felt challenge/convicted to start doing this with My wife and so we decided to take the plunge.
We're only on week 2 but I'm really enjoying it. We're using this app (Fighter Verse) that Jon Piper's church created. It's definitely not as pretty as it could be but it's got three different 5 year plans for memorizing one verse or chunk a week along with songs, reminders, and quizzes for each verse.
You can also choose your own verse/book to memorise and it will generate quizzes, etc. for you.
It's a bit pricey at £2 but if you need a push to start memorising bible verses, this is a great place to start!

This app is a real treasure
I'm amazed at the functionality and quality of this app. There are individually recorded songs for each verse - I've spent all day singing the verse to myself! There are 3 ways to test your memory and easy links to commentaries. All in all one of my favourite apps.
