Disappointing
Unfortunately iZip will not open certain files which it previously opened without problem, and the help site it directs me too does not work either.

Absolute pain
You cannot use this app without advert constantly covering it, you then have to close the site down and go into again. I am now downloading a app that isn’t so annoying.

Haven’t had much problems with extracting files so far, but after the first three or so zip files it starts nagging you to buy the premium version every time you open it or tap on another file... and when you close that, it serves you an ad and then another nag screen. Seriously!?

Don’t bother
A rambling, horribly disorganised and unintuitive app that only gives you the option of zipping if you buy the ‘premium’ version, otherwise it’s just another way of opening files like every other ‘file managing’ app on your phone.
All I needed it to do was compress a photo and it couldn’t even do that with any degree of control; it’s either nothing or sledgehammer.
Absolute rubbish.

Can’t Zip larger than 10MB without Pro
I downloaded this to move a world from my iPad to my laptop but I can’t as the folder is larger than 10MB and I don’t want to pay just to Zip one file

Updated in app to pro version, money gone but no pro!
I downloaded this free version and decided to update using the link in the pop up to upgrade. I paid the £5.99 to do this and the money has come out, but it hasn’t upgraded, if I try to download the pro version it wants me to pay again, and my bill just says £5.99 but doesn’t have a description of what I paid for! Is this a total scam or a bug? I don’t want to pay another £6 for something I’ve already paid for. Not sure how to get the 5.99 refunded either.

No continuous play
For someone that uses large audio files, to unzip them is fine. But to not have tracks continuously play from song to song is a massive let down, especially considering that now since ios 12 has happened, most of this apps competitors can't function in the new ios...

I was looking for an unrar and by luck installed this first.The pro version is probably the best but the limited version is great for basic decompressing. Highly recommended

Got the pro version but too many problems. One is that rotating screen stops zip function. Got a refund. Found documents app by readdle to be better option.

Free version is limited
It seems to to the job OK, but to compress anything over 5MB or more then 5 files at a time you need to buy the full version. Who needs to compress less than 5MB? The interface and integration is quite comprehensive albeit a bit confusing. Overall, potentially a useful app but frustratingly useless unless paid for.

if you unpack an html or pdf file it forces you to use their browser so they can show you ads
on top of that you can't pick where to extract files.

Makes sharing multiple files via email easy
I was very pleased to find an app that could add an such a useful, and to me essential feature. I almost expect to be able to zip a file on any device, and maybe I could with more apps like this one.

I installed this app to unzip some files.instead it deleted files and would not allow me to store photos I was taking. Waste of time and effort!

Rubbish, really.....
Having downloaded a music album with 10 files or so, compressing them can only be done as long as any file is approximately 5 Mb or less - none of these songs are that small, and each are about 6 Mb per file. The alternative is to buy the Pro version of iZip. In other words I have achieved nothing through this, but typically being bullied into purchasing far more than I bargained!

Simple to use for simple tasks.
This is simple to use for PDF compression/decompression then uploading to Google Drive (which is all I wanted it for really). Can’t speak for more complicated use, but for standard use it’s great.

Frustrating due to poor integration with other apps and storage
This probably works okay for pictures, but that's about it. It doesn't help in any way as a file manager alternative. Once you unzip files you can *maybe* view them, depending not the file type, but you can't export them as uncompressed documents back to storage. It forces you to re-compress the file before you can save it. It's like a previewer, but it doesn't allow you to actually get any work done. Waste of time for anything other than the most basic file types. Should be called "picture decompressor". It's not generally helpful for compressing/decompressing a multitude of file types.

Weird but works sort off
The weird bit is it was a zipped .xlsfile zipped using 7zip initially it was reported as a error when I tried to view it in this app.
Trying to open it direct from the zip app to excel gave t message unable to open.
On the off chance I then tried to open it in apple numbers and low and behold success.
So I've no idea if the problems with this app, the original 7zip used to zip it or excel anyway got their in the end.
But the above is why I'm only giving it a 3star.

Latest update removed an important feature
The application worked perfectly before, but now it does not allow files to be opened in another application which ruins the purpose. I use this to unzip files and open them in other applications so I can use them, but I can no longer do this. Please fix! Rating will be higher.

Almost perfect, incredibly useful.
So useful it's amazing Apple haven't included something similar by default. It's only fault is occasionally it doesn't actually send the extracted file and you have to repeat the 'open in...' process. Worth five stars regardless!

Fast and efficient
Unzip your zip files on iPhone now with this great app. It works almost instantly to open the whole document. Search for a page or print it all to a wifi printer straight from iPhone.

Yes it unzips but....
It's almost unusable, I unzipped one far file with 15 items in, I cannot save them to my Dropbox box by selecting them all in one go I have to individually save each one at a time and every time I switch the app (because you have to) it then prompt me to upgrade, not the mention the 5 prompts to review in 15 minutes I have not managed to extract the files to anywhere meaningful and now I am angry and will wait until I get back to my desk, shame it gets such good reviews

Downloaded in desperation
Needed something to unzip files on my iPad for a presentation quickly, not only did this app perform the operation quickly and effectively I ended up using it as a presentation tool. Fantastic, highly recommend!

Excellent - truly fantastic
I'm about to give a paper at conference and all the other delegates papers were sent zipped. This amazing app has allowed me to easily open them and manage them on the iPad, which has literally made my day!

This is a CON! Paid for the app to unzip a file on my iPad but it wouldn't, sent an email to technical support n was a pain getting them to reply n wen someone eventually replied, he told me to send one of the files so they can test it. After I sent them the file, I didn't get a reply so kept contacting them and wen I eventually got a reply, they said the app doesn't support "TAR BZ" files. There's nothing to say or stipulate the files it supports which I think is very misleading. I'am not a geek, how am I supposed to know the files it supports? All I read on d app info was that it can unzip files.
I asked for a refund but haven't heard from them

Had lots of problems trying to make it easy to open zips and at last this has to just the thing. Everything opens as expected and is so useful and would definitely recommend. Thanks for a brill app.

Sometimes crashes
For no apparent reason, when viewing the file list of certain unzipped files, it just crashes. No idea why. It's happened twice now in the few months I have been using it, and since my main reason for using it is to efficiently get directories of files onto my iPad for meetings, it is quite critical that it doesn't crash! Not having the files I need for meetings is a disaster!
Going to try an update to see if it helps.

Little life-saver of an app!
Was emailed a zipped up set of documents which I couldn't open on iPhone or iPad. Found this little app at very short notice, was chuffed to find it was free, and downloaded it. Job done, I could open the zipped attachments directly from my email and browse / view all the document inside. Brilliant. Couldn't recommend it more!

Does exactly what it says on the tin
As the title suggests it's does exactly what is needed from an un-zip/ zip program!! Well worth the free download and I even paid the extra £1.50 to have the ads removed and the extra feature of being able to zip photos and video on my iPhone!!

Not bad but not great either
Very slow on iPhone 4 glitchy when looking at building drawings etc. Should really be able to open the document in 1 swift movement! Alot of forward and backward motion needed to see multiple files. Not for professional use but keep going iZip. Great to get you out of trouble if your on the move.
