I find it very irritating when I check a car I am bidding on and it has disappeared. It has happened a few times now, when I check the car it may say 30 before it is on the block and 10 minutes later it has just disappeared. Very very frustrating and it would also be useful to know what an item sold for. This may be an option to members for say 24 hrs after the auction.

I have bid one of the car. Car was got reserve on after auction someone’s called me from Copart and he said seller not expected your bidding but if you pay bit more we can ask him again. I told him no it’s my last price. He said ok sorry bout it and are chat over the phone is done.

Week after they stopped my bidding and asked £250 for resale. I called more than 10 times to explain what happened but no body wants to help each person keep diverting to me another person I never found right one. Now I am asking my registration fees but still you can’t find any helpful person 👎

Copart, i buy a cay u bumper slight dents & scratches, turns up rotten to core. No car no money. You have no customer service, been with you from day 1 & you let unscrupulous members sell other members cars fit for scrap & let them hide behind your unfair terms & conditions. If you say pictures are for illustration only whats point in having them, also damage description same. Ya might as well not bother. We know it works on trusting your pics & description to base our bids, don’t put members dead weight scrap into loyal co part members wi out checking what’s happening under your noses on your auction. NOT Happy at all. You will receive your court order soon.

Do not believe Copart UK!!! Be very careful when you check the vehicle ONLINE! You may get a car with missing parts, even if you saw them on photos. You can also be surprised with (lots) extra damages which were not reflected. Remember, at the moment you can’t go to yard and inspect the car yourself. In the same time their team doesn’t respond to emails. Save your time and your money!

Charging twice for joining fee

I have just joined Copart uk today and I paid £100 as membership fee for one year (365)days.

I checked my bank account and an extra £101.80 was dedicated from my bank account by copart uk Bedford GB.I’m extremely unsatisfied about what happened and it gives me a negative perspective towards working in this platform.

Very lower level customer service. I emailed around 15 times for one issue after they replied.

Lots of discrepancies happening now a days.

They charge money for changing address.

Unnecessary payments taken from buyers and sellers.

When they don’t have any answers for queries they go for email holiday including manager.

I have all evidence but they failed to manage provide their solution

Stay well away ,you loose your money,they bid by themselves ,they tampering with the cars,remove parts, you have no rights, they photoshop the dashboard to remove warning lights and when you go to collect there are engine light on, airbag light on and so on

Everything is fine just a couple of things for improvement. Firstly you need to take pictures of the badge that you get on the b-pillar which shows the vin number and also the engine code. This will help in deciding whether to buy the car or not as you can work out the price and availability of parts needed to fix the car. Secondly need to extend collection times for Saturday and Sunday as a lot of people are off work during the weekend making it easier and more convenient to collect vehicles.

It became rip off place

It used to be good place to buy salvage vehicle for good price. But not anymore. First disappointment was when I renewed membership on 08/2020, did it over a phone and paid membership for one year. After 4 months I received email that I need to renew my membership from 1/01/2021 for 25% higher fee. Now won auction on a vehicle (£3.400), it’s normal that all auctions charge fee, which is clearly stated £393, but total charge was £4.009, which is £216 more than should be. I called to find out, and they said there is 2 additional charges on top of buyers fee. It is stated somewhere in T&C. Its seems to me its hidden fee, which I’ve never seen on other auctions. And finally, of COVID situation there is some problems, delays and ect to collect vehicle. I used private recovery drivers for this service, but most of them don’t want to do it anymore from Copart. So only option is to pay Copart to deliver it. To deliver vehicle 270 miles they gave quote of nearly £900!!! To deliver vehicle to East Europe 2.000 miles away companies charge half of that. And it seems a bit strange things going on during auctions, because someone bids very high bids to rise price, but these vehicles are back on auction next week. It becomes cheaper to buy non damaged vehicle on auctions like ebay rather then damaged and unchecked on Copart. And very annoying this ‘Bonus Time’ just to rise final bid. I stopped using this app completely

Import Japan Cars with Reduced Mileages

Becareful when bidding, i have won Toyota Prius car which come off as Imported from China, and Copart refused to cancelling the sale! We had to pay it. After couple months when i tried to sell it to motor trader they found out it is 140k miles in 2019! and we bought it as 45k miles. Also seat conditions were hidden with seat covers!

Be careful this web site is not for everyone. What information you see on web site is poor. Not sure best to go and see cars before bids. A lot of careless from loading Vehicle to delivering the vehicle make sure everything is the way they have said (but it never is) (poor descriptions) (poor photo) (Misleading). Won auction but seller was countering offer too high

Copart has ruined the concept of auction. I had won auction for 2 numbers plates in the UAE and I get told that the seller is countering the offer by over double the price. This defeats the whole purpose of auction, this is more to attract people than going through traditional methods. Will not be using again

HIDDEN DAMAGE, HIGH MILEAGE & BONUS TIME!!!

Be very careful when buying a car from Copart as there’s hidden damage on the cars as Copart always like to hide the damage to get higher bids on the cars.

If the car is very high mileage! Copart doesn’t like to show mileage in order to sell for more money.

“Bonus Time” is also another trick to keep raising the bids! SO BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN BUYING FROM COPART.
