Live match videos are only available to users watching in Australia and New Zealand.

Subscriptions purchased from within the App will be charged to the customer’s iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.

All subscriptions (either weekly, monthly or annually) will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.

Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's iTunes Account Settings after purchase.

No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.

Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription.

Video never works properly

Amateur hour at Telstra. AFL video never works properly, when it isn’t buffering the quality is awful. On wifi so not a connection issue, Netflix, YouTube and every other website streams perfectly. Radio stream drops out regularly too. It really is a disgrace in 2019 they can’t get this fixed.

How!?!?

I can’t believe that in 2018 one has trouble just listening to the radio coverage on this app. Whether using WiFi or 4G it cuts out every 5 mins for about 10 secs and generally have to push pause and play again to get it to play. Poor form as it’s the only way possible on a smart phone to listen to the footy

Don’t do it

Was charged two weeks for the app without knowing. What’s worse is the free week I signed up for didn’t even work. Nowhere to contact for a refund.

Going backwards....

Can we go back to last year's app? Refresh on this is awful. Constantly having to restart to get live scores. A poor relation to last year's version of this app.

Needs improvement

Overall this new version feels like a step backwards. Basic things like the news section being full of video highlights rather than news says it all really.

Shame the AFL didn't bother looking at the layout of other leading sports apps such as Sky Sports Football app.

Let's hope this all gets fixed in an update soon.

More bugs than past versions

Too buggy. Content is good, but too many bugs in the revamp, especially on WAFL section (e.g. Try to open article and just refreshes the home page). Also, live stream has really slowed to be practically unusable.

Written text is too small and not adjustable making it very difficult for those of us with eye issues. Otherwise, from what I have been able to read, it seems okay.

Fine but what about notifications?

I live in the UK and try to keep up as best I can with the scores and news. The app helps a bit but I can't get notifications set up at all without logging in to AFL Live. Which would be fine, if I could find out how to register from the app (you can't) and if I wanted to pay for a subscription (I don't get the chance to watch regularly so what's the point in paying for a subscription just to have notifications!). Real shame for people outside Aus...

Excellent and incredibly easy to use

Download it, a no brainer and very easy way to follow what is happening in AFL world. Everything you need, the basics, the scores, the data, the reports, videos and so on.

Excellent App.

Highly recommended for clarity and information. Living in London, it gives me exactly what I need in real time. It is better on the iPad than on my desktop as the info is easier to access. Takes a little while to load, but that happens with many of the Apps/Newscasts etc. which originate in Australia.

Unexpected error

This App is completely useless! Every time I try to stream video it will play for moment and then it stops and a message pops up saying "unexpected error occurred during play back"! I purchased an AFL live season pass to stream the games on my phone and even they just freeze every few minutes! I have a new phone and excellent wifi. Can't believe I paid for this! Terrible app! Steer well clear of this one!

What have you done?????

Used to LIVE this app but update has ruined it. I now can't get push notifications on my team unless I register and when I try, it takes me to a website where it's subscription membership. What a shame. One of my favourite apps trashed.

Still worse than 2012

This app cuts out a lot compared to the 2012 version which is frustrating and I have an excellent Internet connection. a small positive is that it does seem to be at its most consistent during games. However, it can be almost non-existent in the half hour before the game. If the AFL is going to ban streaming of the pre-game on individual sites for the half hour before games, at least do the courtesy of putting it on your app properly. In addition, the score on the left panel updates about 20 seconds before you hear it so you know what's going to happen before it does which is very frustrating...

2013 AFL app is not as good as prior year. Match centre boring, live radio stream constantly interrupted - hope these are pre season bugs that will be fixed before Round 1 starts

Great app

App is great, I'm in the uk and it works really well to keep to totally up to date with the AFL. Steaming radio on my phone is faultless. Only gripe to the AFL is the lack of video streaming option for international fans. Happy to pay a fee for that, but no option possible. Hopefully you'll sort that out for 2013.

Save your pennies....

Came back to Melbourne on holidays and couldn't wait to watch my beloved pies play. As is tradition I always listen to Triple M at the game... The AFL cuts the Triple M broadcast off so you have to buy this app. When the 'live' radio decided to start working, about 10 minutes into the first quarter, it was on a delay of about a minute or would cut out every 30 seconds or so. For a sport that prides itself on being world class, this is horrible!!!!!

Nothing Works, I've Wasted My Money

The number of bugs in this app are just astonishing, the AFL should be ashamed of putting their name on it.

I mainly wanted it as a quick and reliable way to check match scores but 90% of the time a spinner appears for about 30 seconds and either nothing appears or the app will crash. When the live updates do appear the commentary and scores were continually out of sync so you'd see a goal scored in the comments and the score would not update or vice-versa so you're never sure which is correct.

Similar problems occur when you go to the club news page a spinner will appear and then no news appears. I've customised the news for my team and apparently I support a team called (null).

AFL please fix this app or refund my money and restore the simple HTML page that used to be on your site to check the scores.

Streaming radio not working

The 2010 app was great, but this is the first game the 2011 app has been available and 4 out of the 5 radio streams are broken! The one radio stream that does work switches off when your screen locks. I can't believe they can release (and charge) for an app with such bugs!
