Still a great search engine but not as user friendly as it was a few years back. Harder to search direct flights only on multiple dates. Harder to change your search. They keep making changes that make it worse rather than better, I find it very strange.

New user and a bit miffed!
Downloaded the app and initial impressions were positive; however, the fundamental requirement of accurate pricing is not being met. After entering my flight details, a range of price options was presented, which appeared satisfactory. However, upon attempting to proceed with the booking, the price increased by £200 compared to the amount originally displayed.
I subsequently searched for the same flights directly with easyJet and found no corresponding match. The reason for this discrepancy is unclear. In its current form, this issue significantly undermines the reliability of the app and, in my view, renders it of limited practical use.

Travel companies change prices
We booked a flight with Virgin through travel up on this app and they took the money and we got an email but not tickets, it said allow 48 hours which we did ( we booked close to date to get a good price) on the day we called them and they said the price had gone up! They never contacted us to explain any issues it was up to us to call and wait an hour on the phone, luckily we realised and called and are another £60 down as we had no choice, they said if we cancelled it would cost us £50 so couldn’t even try another carrier. Just a lot of stress and confusion and we could have had a better seat for the money we ended up paying.

Wanted to charge me for amending their mistake - My mistake of booking via third party. I believe all airline tickets should be booked direct via airline. Flysharp entered passenger names incorrectly and when this was highlighted to them, they initially tried to defend it but then offered to cancel the tickets at a substantial cost instead of correcting their mistake. Very upsetting and frustrating but serves me right for using a third party!

Skyscanner provides a fantastic service, however the app itself keeps freezing when you are trying to use it. It’s very hard to search for more than a minute or two before the app freezes and everything stops. It is frustrating as it feels like everything takes twice as long to find because the app keeps stopping and freezing. If that can be fixed, this would be great.

Misleading Prices
Best off booking direct with the airlines as they are far more transparent. App asks you to select a child between 2-17 from the options and then the drop down box gives you the age option. Once you select say a 15 year old and then hit search you are then displayed with the prices. You think these look reasonable and then when you go to book, the company you are redirected too says child tickets are for children age between 2-11. The price then goes up by £300. Very misleading so don’t be fooled by the initial prices given. The app needs some work on this as they are promoting cheaper prices falsely.

I have been using Skyscanner for over 10 years. It has been a great tool for planning my overseas travel. I love the ability to browse where the most affordable flights are by putting “everywhere” in the destination. However my recent search results have been less than helpful. Entry suggesting great deal turns out to be no more than a click bait. For example today I search for flight to HKG, the cheapest flight from eDream did not exist when search on the eDream site. This is unprofessional. A complete waste of my time.

Amazing if…
I absolutely love this site. I travel a lot and book travel for others a lot and have found it has the best prices 90% of the time.
My only constructive criticism would be to add a feature that allows searching for flights with flexible dates while keeping selected filters in place. Currently, you have to choose a specific date first and then apply filters, which can be time-consuming.
For instance, if I want to fly to London anytime in March 2025 and need a direct flight that departs after 10 AM with a flight duration under a certain number of hours, I’d like to see prices for all dates that meet these criteria.
It would also be helpful to extend this feature to price notifications. I’d love to set up alerts that include a date range and my preferred filters. For example, I want to be notified when flights between a range of dates, with my selected criteria, drop below a specific price. This would make it much easier to find the best deals without repeatedly entering the same search criteria.

Will I ever get there?
As currently looking for flights to the Caribbean. I turned to Sky Scanner for competitive prices . However. What I have learned is that no airline is cheaper than the next. With Sky Scanner offering ridiculous stop off’s that appear to take over 24hrs to get to a destination. Now. While I need to get to the Caribbean in my chosen month. It possibly won’t be through the airline I originally thought I would provide reasonable flight only prices …. I am actually considering paying for a package holiday with a hotel as some of the flight only prices are so close to a whole 11 days.. Just ridiculous! While I don’t feel represented for the flight I need. All Airlines need to take a look at what they are becoming.. it’s disgraceful in terms of pricing!

Filters are terribly painful to use
Why do you reset filters when changing any aspect of search!? They take ages to load and ages to fix. Why can’t I set to NEVER EVER travel from the hell holes that are Luton, stanstead etc. remember the airports I select between searches. Same goes for indirect vs direct. Honestly, do you ever use this app yourselves? Why does switching to one way airport selection not mirror return. If I switch, don’t mess me about. I’m not here doing two different searches. No one is. They’re trying to see one way pricing for the current trip they are looking at. I’m not the only one with this feedback. You pay lip service saying “you’ll improve / pass to right team”. NOTHING CHANGES. Your product team need a kick. They’re sleeping and arrogant if this flow is what they’re championing for so long without improvement.

Filters not working that well
I’m trying to find a good weekend break from London to Dublin in the next few weeks, but it seems the prices in the calendar view are unfiltered and can be a lot more once you filter out impractical 6am departures, after midnight arrivals, or suggested 14 hour stopovers in Glasgow.
It’s possible to reapply filters again each time when looking at given dates, but you need to be able to see them applied in the main calendar view to be practical.
Also, for anyone remotely tall, it would be helpful to include the seat size as a lot of the airlines seem to be shrinking them these days and often they can be unsuitable for anyone much bigger than a hobbit. Filters please if possible.

What have you done to the search?
I loved this app, but the searching is worse than previously and I am hoping this might prompt a logical change to save my settings and allow a default sort…
1. I never want to see indirect flights as a first choice, I filter them out, but as soon as I change a date, I have to do it again. Same with any other filters I use
2. I thought the direct flights icon at the top might be great, but it doesn’t also sort by price, which is generally the first sort I want
3. You used to be able to get a decent idea of price when you chose the dates, but wouldn’t it be even better to have that with the user filters switched on… e.g. it is all very well getting a cheap flight, but not a 5am return flight…

One stop doesn’t mean one stop
Results often return a ‘one stop’ itinerary but when you open up the details it has two stops on there (or sometimes even three!). Also if you want to change the return date it doesn’t bring up the original ‘calendar’ that shows the day of the week it just brings up the ‘rolling date’ option and you have to guess. It also often puts that date in the depart field so you have to start from scratch. Why they don’t keep to the same calendar view I know not. I wanted to contact them to feedback directly rather than on here but the contact page requires you to enter a booking reference before it will further the enquiry.

New version is atrocious
Some intern has decided to put “validation” on the filters, presumably because he thought it was a good idea. When looking for a flight from Birmingham to New York, you’re forced to select a date and hit search before saying it needs to be a direct flight. Now you have to wait for the search to complete - in full - before it then gives you the option of filtering. Once you deselect 1 and 2 stops, it refuses to let you set that filter by disabling the Show Flights button because there are no flights for that date range. Now I’m playing the game of guess when to figure out when I can fly direct.
[edit] oh great, additionally, if there are no flights with 2+ changes, you can’t even deselect the filter, because it’s disabled (but checked).
Congratulations you’ve made this app completely useless.

Good for getting an idea
This app is good for getting an idea of where you can go for how much. I like the way you can search with flexibility. Please please please add a function to filter by direct flights when searching on the “anywhere, anytime/whole month” bit. It gives prices from my chosen airport to different cities that look attractive but then you click & it turns out there’s an 11 hour stopover. I appreciate some people may find that okay but it’s frustrating when you just want to see where you can get in one flight.

This used to be such a great app...
The prices displayed are always wrong. If you check the price on the calendar for a specific destination, the search shows you prices that are not even remotely close to it. In the rare occasion that you find a price that is close to what's shown, if you visit that provider the price will of course be 2x, 3x, 10x times more expensive.
I known prices fluctuate due to several factors like demand, availability etc. But this discrepancy was shown for several days. I highly doubt the API that keeps their systems with up-to-date information is running once a week for this to happen. Or maybe they do, who knows!
I'm amazed they're still allowed to be operating with such practices.

Needs more customisation & tap reduction.
Good app, but could be great. Firstly, please add the options to set search filters in your profile ahead of time. EG, if someone ONLY flies direct and under 5 hours flight times, it’s frustrating to have to go into filters every time to find out if what you want is actually there instead of knowing swiftly. Wasted time equals less confidence in the app. Secondly, there is wasted time when changing destinations. It auto searches when changing one destination. Which is frustrating if you are changing both cities OR just needing to edit dates after. Time is wasted waiting for things to load. Thanks and good luck

Slow and sluggish
This app is brilliant for what it does. My main criticism is the time it takes to load the flights page. It is definitely app related and not my internet. You click flights and it takes an age to go to the page and then navigation in the flights page is also slow when you’re trying to select the airports. Perhaps having a search button would help so that when you return to the page it doesn’t automatically search for the flights from the previous visit. I have considered removing the app so that I just use the website in safari, it is that slow.

Christmas 2022
After using this site for years booking flights to Australia I can’t believe how bad and hard it is to book flights to Australia for Christmas 2022. Every flight I would click on was either wrongly priced when selecting and when diverting to sellers site the price would nearly double or more or would take me to sellers site and would ask me to fill out details to be told flight was no longer available. I know it’s not necessarily sky scanners fault but they are in charge of who they let falsely advertise on their platform. I must say that all companies who do the same kind of searches as sky scanner were the same though. I have spent weeks with the same out come. So much so it was affecting my mental health that we changed our plans and are now going March instead. Guys seriously the website is so much better than your app.. isn’t the app supposed to make things easier? When looking at flights yesterday the prices were great until I clicked in to see more, then they jump up by a couple hundred ££ if you want a direct flight! So okay okay fair enough if that’s how it has to be, but why can’t I choose direct flights only, BEFORE I have to go into each individual one? (The website offers this which makes it better by far). It’s almost like false advertising and you need to sort this. How hard is it really to add a ‘direct flights’ button when entering all my details 🤔

Do not use the suppliers
I used Skyscanner to book a flight through a third party (called Mytrip). The flight was cancelled due to weather conditions so I had to try and process a refund, which is when I discovered that Mytrip was an absolute nightmare to deal with. They leave you on hold for up to 45 minutes, hang up on you if you (politely) query, and apparently don’t refund anyone. If you look at their trust pilot reviews this is clearly and experience shared by multiple other customers.
While the issues with Mytrip is not directly Skyscanners fault, I was disappointed with Skyscanner for the following reasons
1) the rating for Mytrip on their system was far higher, which suggests system manipulation
2) it is the responsibility of Skyscanner to make sure they are engaging with appropriate suppliers,
3) there was no where whatsoever on Skyscanner for me to register concerns about Mytrip, so they are presumably still a supplier to Skyscanner and still luring in other unsuspecting victims,
Skyscanner, please can you implement some improvements to how your third party suppliers are engaged with and reviewed.

Good but could be better
When using the Everywhere feature you can’t filter for direct flights before it shows you all the destinations. When booking an “Everywhere” flight I’m looking for a quick opportunity, but I don’t want a 2 (or more) leg journey. The app gives me results all over the place but they often turn out to be indirect flights. Just give me the filters earlier in the in Everywhere search please. And what about the map you used to have on the website that showed where you could fly to from each airport. That was a nice feature.

Screen unresponsive?
Used this app for years and loved it, but just recently it’s virtually unusable, and other people have said the same. Whatever I tap on the screen needs tapped several times before it actually does anything. Open the app and select ‘flights’ but nothing happens. Need to press it several times for the page to open. Same when selecting any other options like highlighting airport box to enter details. This is a one year old iPhone 12 on latest iOS, so not a case of an obsolete handset.
The format of results has also changed for the worse, it shows only 3 now unless you select to filter/sort, in which case you have to wait for the search again.
Looks like the latest updates have just made it far less usable - I’ve given up mostly and been either using the webpage on safari or other flight apps instead.

Return flights using same airport
I've been using Skyscanner's website for years, despite having the app just because the most essential filter option is not available.
Why, why, why do you not have the most simple filter of flying from and to the same airport on return flights. It's such an important filter that I do not understand why is it missing.
It's not just 'simmetry'...🙄 if you drive to and park at the airport, flying back to the same airport is a key issue. Why do I have to spend triple the time using the app instead of just using your website?

They broke it
Why can’t I see a whole month anymore and choose the date from that? You totally ruined your app and took out the best feature. Whoever took this decision at your company should resign or be fired. Your app is now worthless after using it for years.
Edit: No, I don’t agree with your response. Yes, the situation is fluid but I would prefer to know the potential options and then drill down to the price afterwards. You are the developer, I am the user (and an experienced user of your app for many years). I absolutely know what *was* good about your app as do the other reviewers. You’ve made a very poor assumption and you need to correct it. Bring back the Chart option or your app is finished - I’m already going directly on the airline apps, others will be too.
Bad data is better than no data - at the moment you provide no data. You know this, but your management is making poor decisions. Sort it out.

Getting worse
In my opinion this app it’s getting worse .

Every single time when I’m popping out from that app in order to check something about the destination I have found or share something with a friend the app is restarting so I have to do searches again which really puts me off

When I do search for example
London - everywhere I cannot sort the results by any category.. so I have to go through random destinations with random quotes going like £1200 -£12-£680-£560-£20 which is another thing which forces me to not using this app, it’s better to use Skyscanner on browser then on this app.

When I put specific dates it never shows me the one which I have asked for .. it’s showing only the dates around the date which I’m interested in and the one which is with the lowest price.. So when you click that suggested option and adjust the dates to the one you want the price is always much bigger then the “advertised one “
I guess that’s it’s to make the impression that this app really can find good prices ( at the first look)

Ruined by updates
This app used to be fantastic for finding cheap flight deals... before the updates ruined it! I used to be able to do a ‘explore’ search from London to everywhere between specified dates, this would show the countries in order from cheapest, you could select one and then it would take you to those flights. NOW the country list is not in price order, it seems to promote higher priced deals above lower ones, and when you select one, it comes up with completely different date options, you then have to basically do another manual search for your dates! And the airline results keep defaulting to ‘best’ rather than cheapest first, another annoyance! If it ain’t broke don’t fix it! Well now you’ve broken it so please fix it!!

My not so secret travel hack!
SkyScanner makes it incredibly easy to find the best and cheapest flights to anywhere in the world! Every time I travel, I use SkyScanner, and recommend everyone does the same. I use it for both short haul and long haul trips. I’ve even found flights to the states for as little as £230 round trip, including luggage! I‘ve seen some negative reviews related to the charges, but it’s important to remember, SkyScanner is basically Google for flights, they don’t control taxes, charges or service fees. It doesn’t do all the work for you, but it makes it incredibly easy.

Used to be good
This used to be a great app but now it’s so difficult to use and un-intuitive its almost un-usable. Want to know what’s available from a local airport on a particular weekend or month? Can’t seem to do it. Try and restrict flights to direct only (surely this should be the default - who wants 24hrs travel and two changes to get to Europe from the UK?) and it keeps flipping back to the multi-change default. Fly from one airport and back to another? You’ll need to get your pen and paper out. Lots of “nice but unnecessary” information when all you really want is to know when the cheap flights are and if a trip works on any kind of realistic budget - in fact what you used to be able to do easily before Skyscanner stopped wanting to do what it says on the tin (flights) and tried to be Expedia or Kayak instead. Of course trying to do everything and sell everything max’s the commission- it just makes for a terrible app. Well done Skyscanner - you’ve turned an essential app into one destined for the delete button.

Saved Flights Don’t Update
Overall, I find this a very useful app and website and it helps me track flight prices, and hopefully the new price predictions will work out correct for my chosen flights.
Only downside which I find really annoying is that once you have saved a flight, in your saved section it only shows the price that it was when you saved it. You need to actually click on it and wait while it loads and updates (which takes an unusually long time) until it shows you the current price.
If that could change, the app would get five stars from me.

Lies all lies
Very dodgy company, don’t deal with them , they used to have good transparent customer service but since been bought by a Chinese company(C trip)who does dodgy business in China, skyscanner is now operating in this disgusting way as well. Full of lies. We bought a return business class ticket, used first leg of the flight, tried to change date for the return part of the flight, they suggested it would be better to just refund so I said yes that’s fine. But no confirmation email arrived afterwards. This was three days ago. I called again today and they are now telling me the refund process will not be confirmed before the flight departure so there is a risk of I miss the flight yet refund getting rejected afterwards. Then I said I wanted to change date it is their customer service suggested me request for a refund. Now they don’t admit they suggested the refund process as opposed to change date. And now I ask I don’t want refund I just want to change date they say they will check then put me on hold forever and eventually hung up on me. Then I called once again they hung up once again.
*update: finally got through again, the call operator is extremely rude, would not let me finish talking, every time I opened my mouth she interrupted said ‘we are extremely busy at the moment, I told you you to wait’.
If you have ever delt with Chinese businesses before you would know the feeling. I won’t try my luck again. I won’t use skyscanner from now on.

Calendar Feature Gone
Why have you remove the Calendar? Your old app had a really simple Calendar with every price for each day, you see all the prices and you can plan your accommodation around those prices. This was THE BEST feature of your app. I’m absolutely baffled. It blows my mind. I still have the old version of your app on my phone and it worked until a little while ago. The fact a customer is trying to use your old app instead of your new one should really say a lot! Everyone hates change, but you’ve removed or at least hidden the best feature of your app. Completely pointless even writing this review but I’ve seen a few people saying the same thing so maybe after you’ve had a few thousand customers go elsewhere the penny will finally drop and you’ll bring it back.

Brilliant at finding cheaper flights and hotels.
I have been using it for a while to find cheaper flight options. Though I have recently discovered how good it is for finding deals on hotels. I am planning a trip to New York and have narrowed my list to different hotels, but the skyscanner app can be used to identify the cheapest options for your booking. You can see if it is better to pay a bit extra to get rewards from a different booker or directly.

Show flights for Full month disappeared?!
I used to always use skyscanner to
Book flights but recently the show full month option has disappeared! I don’t see why they have disabled this feature as it used to show the cheapest flights throughout the month .. now it’s turned into a guessing game ? Ridiculous! What do you gain from removing this ... unsatisfied customers. I never write reviews but this has annoyed the hell out of me as I always book flights home to see my family in the UK .
Update : still no visible ‘calendar’ ! To see the different prices over the month .. the new update has lost me as a user and it’s a ball ache to do such a simple thing . There is no calendar on the mobile sky scanner ! If there is, someone point it out to me ... how can such a big company make a mistake like this ? Really think developers need to go back to the drawing board and instead of working adding the ‘ground breaking’ on best/cheapest destination to visit sort out the basics ! Everyone already knows where they want to go,not feeling the new colour scheme, thought I’d throw that in there... sort your stuff out ! Accessibility is the main function of an app and I can’t find a calendar to find the cheapest flights, add it to the filters.. common sense ?! The developers at sky scanner have none .

Please resolve filter issues
Great App, but with two annoying ‘filter’ issues.
Firstly, the filter function allows you to filter flights by departure and arrival times. However, it only allows you to filter by ‘Leave after’ and ‘Arrive before’. This means overnight flights are not filtered out, despite a specific date being selected. So a flight departing London at 22:00 and arriving in Madrid at 00:30 the following day would still be shown even if you’d tried to filter out very early or very late flights.
Secondly, any filters applied are not reflected in the graph view. Instead, the cheapest price for all flights is shown each day, ignoring the fact filters have been applied.
Fix these two issues and it’ll be a 5⭐️ App.

Good site, poor app-> worse after update
I really don’t like to write negative feedback on a reasonable app without being able to submit feedback to the developers first But, it speaks volumes that even your links to app support are not user friendly. Why not just have a link to a form that can be filled??? Instead were directed to a list of help articles???
- previous issues with app remain. The main significant issue is that when you put in a search, you cannot filter for direct flights before the results are shown. On your website this is possible.
- I’m sorry to say the update is not user friendly. If you think it represents your brand better, it is doing a poor job.
-saved searches are now under trips and you cannot delete individual searches under the same trip. You can only delete the whole trip. Individual searches can’t be seen without clicking into the various trips which means you have to do extra clicks when before it was on the main home screen
It’s just a mess now. The last version was not great but this is worse.

Changes - not to the better
I believe recent “updates” / changes made it impossible to filter on the app as it would be expected, and as it was possible in the past.
I used to love this app and I used it on a very regular basis. Nowadays, if I wish to use Skyscanner’s service I must go to their website, which makes the App pointless.
Additionally, the flights are now bundled by airline/carrier, and therefore you are unable to sort for instance by price as the site lists the cheapest by the carrier during the whole day, but for sure the one you want is the most expensive so the App is therefore misleading customers.
Any more changes like the ones above from Skyscanner and I will have to stop using their services altogether :(

Cannot trust the result
You get different flight results depending on whether you search ‘one way’ or multi-city. For example if you search ‘one way’ going out and ‘one way’ coming back then it will give details of direct flights. However the same direct flights do not necessarily appear if you search the whole (out and return) trip at once under multi-city, so you would never know the direct flights existed.

However, I have no confidence whatsoever in the linked travel agent - AirFare Network and would not recommend you use them under any circumstance.

This app finds cheap flights and provides a link to the travel agents who have provided the price quotations. Against each travel agent is a star rating.
I clicked through to one agent with a high star rating and made my booking. I received an itinerary pending issue of tickets. I was then called an hour later and told there were no seats at that price and could I pay another £350.
Clearly a scam. An internet search against the travel agent shows this is a regular issue.
Why does the app show a high star rating? How are these ratings accrued?
Why are the travel agents not vetted?
Why does the app not give a warning that you are being redirected to unverified salesmen operating outside the Uk?

So Sad
I’ve always use this app for my holiday trips it’s the number one app that I use. but recently I’ve booked flights to Barbados through this app I waited until the flight was cheap enough ( about 3 days ) which is the fundamental reason for this app I’ve booked five seats to Barbados at a cost of £3500 And received all receipts and flight confirmation emails only to receive an email 20 minutes later telling me that the flights have not been confirmed and I need to call them ( not going to tell you the actual name of the company ) I called them and they confirmed I would not be getting the flights for that price because they was way too cheap and the money I paid I would not be getting back for 72 business hours which is roughly 10 days... so now I have no flights I’m out of pocket £3500 for 10 days and have been treated absolutely disgustingly. Thank you Skyscanner for a great experience

Love the app to bits...but wish to see my saved searches on all devices
I have been using the app for the past almost 2 years. It has saved me a lot of time and money, even if searches are not always conclusive.
The only reason why I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the fact that I cannot see my saved searches across all my devices, primarily my iPad and iPhone. This makes continuity a bit of a pain when I have started some flight planning on my iPad and I find that I cannot see any of the saved searches on my iPhone and vice versa. I am logged in using the same account and have tried all variations of problem solving...logged in and out on both devices, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and even changed to new devices but nothing seems to work. Continuity is one of the main reasons I use Apple for my business and it is very disappointing when an app fails to do this, especially such a good app which is not easily replaceable with another app. Hope this shortcoming can be addressed.
In the meantime thank you for bringing us such a great app. If travel is part of a small business this is one great helper.

Skyscanner app heats up my iPhone XS Max and XR
It has taken me few days to figure out why my phone was getting hot so quick. Sadly, it’s when I use the skyscanner app for 10 minutes or so and when I search for flights.
To prove my theory, I tried the same level of usage on my wife’s XR and my iPhone 7 too. Each phone exhibited similar condition, which is the back of the camera getting really hot.
I raised the issue with Apple first, and they ran diagnostics with the results showing no issues with my device. They did however, notice that when they tried on an iPad to do flight searches, the iPad got a little warm, too.
I updated the app version and tried again, still same.
I updated IOS and tried again, but phones was still heating up.
However, if I use skyscanner via Safari and save it as home screen, it is much better. But in this case, what is the use of the app? Skyscanner used to be a good app, but other apps are becoming far more useful smarter that skyscanner!
I had a response from skyscanner that they tried to do the same on number of devices, but they couldn’t replicate the failure mode. I somehow find that hard to believe!
Please solve this issue between yourself and Apple ASAP!

Customer service extra mile
Skyscanner could not have provided me with any better customer service than expected!!!
I was very impressed by the after care set in place to help customers that have an issue.
Issues occur and things happen, especially with technology etc but what really was impressive was that I expected little to none help from this search engine (which I love to use) when I had an issue....but the response, politeness and outcome far out weighed my expectations. Just booked another flight with these guys and will continue to recommend. 5star

I have a same problem...
I use to look fir a flights through Explore everywhere then keep check the list for dates suits me. Now it’s showing only the cheapest flight do I’m forced to search manually all dates. After new update using the up became horrible and useless, no different as others who offer exact the same. Btw haw I’m able to rate place I’ve never been to? No after this terrible update there is only option to see cheapest flight and rate city I’ve never been to. I want the old version when I can search for dates and build list of flights so simple. Rubbish update!!!!

Search everywhere gone wrong and needs to be fixed
The search everywhere function was really good because you could put your chosen dates in and then it would come up with different options for different countries and when you clicked on the chosen city within the country, then the flight options for your chosen dates would be there. It looks like the latest update has disrupted this so that now when you get to the screen where all of the cities are there to choose from, when you click on the city, your chosen dates disappear and there is just a link to the ‘cheapest’ flights on totally different dates for that city. This really must be fixed because it is very irritating to have to retype the dates again after clicking on the cheapest option that you are forced to look at. This is not helpful because the dates are what matters so please can you change it back again to the way it was where when you click on a city after choosing the country, the chosen dates stay the same?

Brilliant travel concept
I’ve really loved this app for quite a while, it’s led to many spontaneous and adventurous trips. Just a few things I’d like to touch on to make the app truly unrivalled.
I’ve noticed recently quite a few bugs - such as the explore option not working correctly, by it not showing the prices next to destination and sometimes the incorrect price.
These things can be fixed though. I’m wondering if in the future an option to visit multiple destinations on explore would appear. For example - cheapest return from London and then cheapest return from there. Sometimes I have a set budget and I want to visit as many places as possible.
No one actually does this yet, probably due to the massive amount of script it would take. But I really think this would be such a huge jump in the travel market.
Anyways, keep up the good work and keep those pesky bugs away.

I feel like I’m missing something
I’m a new user to Skyscanner. My wife as a regular flyer loves it and makes good use of the alerts to get some great deals. However I would like to know if it’s possible to search by a date range rather than a specific outward and return date. I’d also like to search by country rather than specific airports. If this can be done then it is not apparent to me. I would give more stars but I have this feeling I’m missing something in the app.

Gone downhill
Used to use this all the time, but now it’s just painful. I want to search for all flights to a destination, leaving from any airport across the U.K. I want a direct flight. Trying to do this on the app now just brings up lots of boxes from different airports with a “from xxx” price note. I have no way of filtering all these results in one list like I used to be able to do - I have to click in each separate departure box and do it piecemeal. It’s painful and I won’t be using this app anymore - why change it from having a great breakdown of all flights in one place??
Please have this option brought back?

I agree with a lot of these recent comments- I used to love this app as my go-to comparison site because you could set multi-searches from departure airport to destination. Now that’s changed you really need to know where you want to go and when. I agree the Explore function is unnecessary and intrusive. Please revert to how it was, it’s no longer functional for me with the new updates! You had a great search facility that set you apart and now you have killed it. I never previously experienced ‘no flights available’- instead you would offer the +/- 3-7 days.
I like to search within a certain time frame (often restricted by school holidays) from several airports (South West, Gatwick) and then see where is looking competitive. Seems impossible with the new upgrade. Sorry!

Nowhere near as good as it used to be!
It seems like the developers of this app have spread it too thin in the sense that it’s doesn’t do one thing very well anymore.
I used to be able to plan an itinerary within minutes using this app now it takes longer than the actual journey itself and it’s all for the sake of the business boffins wanting you to spend more.
The whole entire point why people started using Skyscanner (in the 00’s) was that it was quick and straight to the point.
It’s been watered down by adding to many features to it that actually make it less user friendly and more annoying to use when all you want to do is find out 1) where the flights are from/to 2) where are the cheapest flights and 3) it was purely just about flights!
You’ve got it all wrong!
Go back to basics! People want to find flights and that’s why we want to use this for the above. Stop being a one stop shop!

Great App, But Where’s The Train Section?
Great app that makes booking flights easy. I don’t always necessarily get the best deals, but then that’s not Skyscanner’s fault. Some flights are just expensive. Where the app really comes into its own though is on multi-trips. I recently found a really good deal on there using that function.
Anyway, the last update said it would include train journeys. Maybe I am blind, or stupid - or both (!!), but I still can’t find the section for booking train tickets. I’m hoping it hasn’t be made a hidden feature. Skyscanner please let us know where this function is, so I can try it!

Not user friendly
Used to love this app but after not using it for a while I’ve found its changed by not for the better. I can’t find anywhere how to change setting of 1 adult, economy when what I need is 2 adults 2 children so no prices I get are accurate to my needs. Also not liking the new explore function. Wish there was a way to switch it off. I just want a list of prices - why is it so hard to get that now? And when I do get to a list I just see a whole list of dates I haven’t even selected. Ok I might be doing something wrong but that’s my point. It’s no longer simple to get what you want and requires too much messing around to simply get a list of prices. I will be deleting this app. Waste of time using valuable space on my mobile.

Used to be useful- now it’s annoying
I used to swear by this app and base my holidays around it. Sadly it’s use is decreasing. The search “everywhere” function is abysmal now, I search for ideas and set filters (as like most people I work around certain dates I can fly) and my results give me a huge list that I cannot possibly sort though- most of which do not meet the filter conditions I have set. I am now met with “other dates I can fly” or - and this is most infuriating part, when setting a search for direct flights from a certain airport to “everywhere”... the results give me a tonne of destinations- most of which involve a connection and a journey of up to a day.... this does not help me work out where I can go at all and as a result I’ve started using a competitor app.

Taxes and luggage
Please can you include taxes etc, or at least make it clear how much they are. My flight increased by £70 versus the one quoted!! Also, it would be very useful if the same could be done for luggage because quite often you think you are ordering the cheapest flight but you’re not as one includes luggage and another doesn’t!!
Thank you for your response. My comment about prices is in relation to taxes. Is there anyway of having them included or atleast estimated as part of the price? It makes it IMPOSSIBLE to know what the best prices are without it as some of the taxes added are more than the price of the ticket; doubling the price you actually pay!!! Is that clearer?
