Simple Transfer does not use or transfer your files to any external server. It provides a completely private website to be accessed by only computers that are directly connected to your local WiFi network. Your photos and videos cannot be accessed from the Internet.
* In the free version of the app, you can transfer only the top 50 items of each album. Export to JPEG and H.264 is also not available on the free version. You can remove these limitations by upgrading to the Pro version inside the app.

I tried to transfer 1000 photos and after spending ages waiting they just disappeared and I had to do it again in sections

Shame, used to be really useful

Every attempted transfer just brings up a pop up telling me to upgrade for a tenner. Then it keeps crashing mid transfer. Utter garbage...

It was a good app
The latest update (August 2019) has introduced ads.. now ads that are non intrusive, banner ads or similar are fine, I would consider paying to remove the ads. This latest update has added some god awful ads that pop up every couple of minutes or when you start a transfer. Load music, poxy adverts for irrelevant stuff. I am now looking for a replacement.

Simple transfer photo and video
Purchased the pro version at a cost of £4.99 but app asking me to repurchase and will not allow me to restore purchase.
Contacted company twice but so far I have not had the courtesy of a reply.
Very disappointed as the app worked the first time I used it!

Tidy little gem of an app.
Works perfectly for me. Great little app. I’ve gone with the pod pro version as otherwise have to mess about to get latest photos downloaded if like me you have a large library on phone as free versions only allows first 50 of each album. So put the ones you want to transfer into their own album and hey presto the free version works a treat. But if you need to sort and play a little more then go for the pro version. You won’t be disappointed.

How easy is this app - was having real trouble with iPhone being recognised by laptop to transfer photos etc and transferring large files -wish I’d found this sooner!

Keeps crashing
Good when it works but that doesn’t seem often, maybe 1 in 10 times. If I see the words “download cancelled” one more time! Grrr...can’t handle large files - it should warn you before waste your time. A good feature is being able to select photos by a date range but when you’ve downloaded them (when it works) they automatically become deselected and you cannot reselect them for deletion before selecting an alternate date range and then cancelling and going back to the original. Has potential but maddening. Wish I hadn’t rushed to spend money on this.

Waste of money
This app has caused nothing but chaos. To start, the full version kept crashing, would get over half way through a transfer and then glitch so you have to start again. I finally worked out a way to enable all of my photos to be transferred across to my computer, and then deleted off my phone, to the next day find that they had also been erased from my computer. I had to spend many hours trying to find a way to recover ALL of my photos from my phone which the app deleted. Absolutely shocking for an app!!! Waste of money, would like to be refunded. DO NOT DOWNLOAD.

Poor as p
I just paid £5 to transfer footage that I’ve captured on my GoPro7, I am unable to transfer any files without them being glitchy and framy which is very poor.
I would like for you to please tell me how to fix this issue, or at very least credit me back £5.

Rubbish
A rubbish app gives no indication what it is doing, if anything, I suspect the latter. Why do Apple allow this rubbish in the App Store. A complete waste of time and money.

WASTED £4.99 DOES NOT WORK
The free app only allows you to upload the last 50 photos of your photo book. I downloaded the PRO version of this app due to swapping phones and wanting to port my photos over. Spent £4.99 in doing so only to find out the photos kept crashing part way through the upload.
I’ve now wasted money on something that doesn’t work.

This application does what it says on the tin.
I downloaded the free version which has some restrictions on which files it’ll transfer from phone to Mac ie not the ones I wanted so upgraded and it did the job instantly.

Very good. No more to say!
Just downloaded this app. It seems to work really well for iPhone7 to Windows 10. Time will tell when I get down to bulk transfers. Deals with current issue (September 2018, final IOS 11 version) in which Win 10 seems unable to download photos in correct order to daily files with correct photo file names. Needed the full version to be able to select any photo to download. Pity not yet possible to do USB cable transfers.

Update ruined app
This worked faultless forever, and was used everyday without any issues. After latest update even on same network and same app version I can no longer connect to my iPad from my iPhone. Which pretty much renders the app useless. I’ve tried all the solutions and even though both devices see each other, an error box means that’s as far as I get. If it’s not broke, don’t fix it...was fine as it was.
