Description

This aviation weather app brings professional weather forecasting features to every serious pilot.

The app presents pilots with the well known METAR and TAF data in an intuitive and visual way.

Scroll over the map to the area you are interested in and get a good overview of the expected weather in that area in a visual way. Zoom into advanced features after that for a more detailed weather analysis.

This app provides pilots with often hard to find information such where to expect the top-of-clouds, severe turbulence, convective activity, freezing levels, temperatures and dew points at the flight levels and the expected winds aloft.

We added a simplified but powerful Clouds Diagram showing you where to expect cloud layers, type of clouds (turbulence and convective energy) and where to expect the freezing level and the most dangerous areas for aircraft icing.

Additionally, we added direct links to the most important significant weather charts in our app, so that you have all the information you need at your fingertips to make a good analysis of the weather en route to your destination.

Finally, use our app in combination with the Iridium GO! satellite hotspot device to get the latest rain radar, lightning and airport data while you are in-flight.

Great app but....

I use this app a lot or have done, but can no longer justify the yearly subscription of £50 that used to be what is now the 3 month subscription of £20.

I'm sure there is a lot of work that goes in behind scenes and for maintenance, but sorry, good app, but price is way too much now 😡

Crashing on iPad Mini4

just bought the new Mini4 and a new Accukwik subscription but the app crashes while starting.

Great App for every pilot

Nice visual depiction of different parameters, great for GA and useful for commercial overview too.

Really like depiction of SIGMET location on map rather than lat long.

Possible the best GA app out there

If there is one thing that imc GA pilots need it's cloud tops and freezing levels. Ok, so it's part of the pay service, but information like this is worth every penny. And for general flying, it covers all you require. A Great App.

Really good but forgets purchases

Really useful app but it always forgets in the in-app purchases so much so that despite purchasing the weather data twice it still thinks I haven't even though iTunes says I have. If that was fixed it would get 5 stars.

Essential

This is the best aviation weather app there is. It makes checking for weather problems so easy that it truly provides a significant safety development.

This is the first review i have ever bothered to do. But this is so good i just had to make the effort!

I think I'll do the same for SkyDemon now :-)

Useful for GA pilots

Upgraded to TAF info about 4 months ago and have absolutely no problems using my IPad 2. This is a useful app for GA Pilots in my himself opinion and I thank the developers.

Update failure

Temperamental app just updated now is doesn't work at all click on TAF info and app shuts down!!

Aero plus TAF data

Paid for the TAF data upgrade but cannot get the app to find any TAF data. Don't wast your money buying the TAF upgrade as it doesn't work and is a rip off

Metar visual bit of app is useful but bit of a waste of time without the TAF data for a pilot !

Gives a clear overall picture of airfield met status.

Being able to choose the Met parameters spearately is really helpful too.

Downloaded this app can't get any weather data purchased the the TAF update still no weather data doesn't work

Slow to update and doesn't tell you anything you can't get via tafs and metars from other free apps.
