Unfair

I think it is totally unfair that being on the mini-pill/POP means you have to upgrade to premium to use this app. As a student I thought this would be great for me as I am very forgetful under the stress of collage work, deadlines ect. when it comes to taking my pill and I love the forum. I feel as though I can relate to some of the things others experience and even learn some tips. I just think it’s very unfair and I don’t even particularly have the money to upgrade due to the fact I’m a full time student ergo cannot work

Okay but needs work.

Good at reminding me to take my pill but is annoying because I changed from the coc pill to the pop and it still tells me I’m on a break when I don’t have breaks from it anymore and therefore forget to take the pill.

Love this app. Just switched from combined to mini pill and want to track symptoms and cycle as well as the reminder. I would love to get the water reminders too - set it up but it doesn’t work !

Reminders on break days?

Good app - nice interface and easy to use. However, the app just nearly gave me a heart attack - on day 5 of my 7-day break, the “Take a pill!” reminder popped up. It made me think I was having my break at the wrong time! Must be a glitch, not great.

Also, it tells you off for being “inconsistent in time” way too easily. I’m sorry, but it does not matter if I take the combined pill an hour later than I normally would - it’s just as effective, so there’s no point scaremongering.

Very disappointed

Thought this app was brill at first until it started changing its settings on its own. I’m on a 28 day pill with no break days and every time I’d come back onto the app it’d change back to a 21 day pack with a 7 day break. Emailed to try and find out why it was doing it and never got a response. Now uninstalled

Great app!

I downloaded this app a week ago as I recently started using oral contraceptives, and being in my teens, stressed with my homework and exams it helps me to not forget to take my pill every morning (the reminders it sends my phone are very helpful!). Also, there are many more useful things this app offers such as tracking how I’m physically and mentally feeling, noting down if I’ve missed a pill, reminding me of doctor appointments! Overall really great app recommend a lot.

My pill.

Absolutely love this app on my IPad.. however on my Samsung S9 I do not receive notifications and can’t access a lot of the things apple users can, which is annoying. Otherwise I’d give it 5 stars.

Stopped working properly after subscription

I’ve used this app for years but upon updating to the subscription it stopped working correctly. Too many reminders even after dismissing them or saying I took the pill already. Failure to alert me to start taking next pack. Have gone back to the basic version now. Though the extra such as personalised symptoms are great it’s not worthwhile in my opinion.

Totally useless.

You don’t have that option to set 0 break days with the free app which is ridiculous because some pills prescribed don’t have break days (or weeks!). App automatically set my break days and I’ve missed a days pill. Totally unreliable. And totally disappointed.

Update caused problems

So I assume this was an update thing but now I’m not able to set a reminder to take my pill every 5 minutes, me being a busy person, I rely on this app to remind me to take my pill, ever since I re-downloaded the app, I can only get 1 reminder a day and for the past few days I haven’t had a single reminder despite setting one up, this has caused me to miss multiple days

This app has helped me never to forget a pill! I have recently changed from the combined to the mini pop pill. I have experienced none of the things other people have been saying and I don’t have the premium. Love it have done since day 1!

Everyone on the pill needs this app

Been using this app for as long as I can remember. Amazing! Not only has it helped me in always reminding me, but also allows me to talk to other users! The forum helps ask questions when going to the doctors isn't an option (or not needed but you still need your mind put at ease).

Would really recommend.

I am a very forgetful person, after debating for a few months whether I’d actually go onto the pill, I decided I would. Straight away I tried looking for ways to help me remember as its so important I keep on top of it. Then I found this app, it’s really helped me to take my pill each day at the same day, it sends reminders until you’ve taken it. Very very good.

Don’t use unless you’re on combined pills!

I use mini pill. This app changed all the settings I had configured back to ‘combined pill’ settings only a few days after setting them up. Resulting in missing a pill. This is NOT okay. They should make it clear that this would happen before relying on this app so that you at least have a back up.

Reminder doesn’t work properly

This app doesn’t work correctly! It keeps reminding you to take the pill even though you mark on the app that you have taken it. So annoying and such a basic function.

Very dodgy for mini pill users, especially when you have to take a pill everyday as it is programmed mainly for 21 active pills and 7 break days so everytime I try to press ‘pill taken’ it comes up as a break day and I have to change the settings every time I use it. Not impressed.

Great app, but unfair

Totally agree with previous review. The app itself is amazing. However, I agree that it’s completely unfair to allow the app to remain free only for people on the combined pill. I don’t want to have to adjust my settings every day just because I don’t want premium! I understand the app costs a lot of money to develop but I think your response is missing the point entirely. If you are going to charge, you have to do it fairly. Sometimes we don’t have a choice which pill we are on, and so shouldn’t be punished for it. If you are going to charge, have a free trial period then charge every user, or make every user have to adjust their settings not just those on the certain types of pill...

Not good for POP

I take the pill every day (no seven day break) and there is a setting for this to make it remind you every day. However this setting does not stay permanent and randomly changes to the setting where you have to take a break (so for 7 days there are no reminders). Even after changing it back it does it again. I emailed the app people to tell them and got no reply. I've now had two missed pills so I feel for me this app is not going to work so I'm going to use an alternative. The two stars are for the symptoms you can add and you can chose your specific pill brand

Update needs fixed!

This app has been a real lifesaver for me, but since I updated, the 'break days' option keeps resetting to 7 days every time I close the app.

This is potentially a big risk for many people and really needs fixed ASAP!

Very useful app

I’m incredibly forgetful when it comes to taking my pill so this app is very useful in reminding me. On the advice of my doctor I also take 63 combined pills with a 4 day break rather than the conventional 21 pills and 7 day break. This is one of the only apps that has allowed me to put in the number of pills I take and the number of days break I take. Ive found this very useful as with other apps I’ve found it tricky to track when I’m due to bleed and where I actually am in my pack cycle

Used to be great, now not so much

I had this app a couple years ago, it was great and the functions were all free. Now, half the things you have to pay extra for, such as a 'sleep' button on the alarms. A week into using it again, and I haven't had a single reminder come up - I am terrible without reminders, so after checking all my settings and finding reminders are all set up correctly, I've now missed one. I got the app to ensure I don't miss, so to be worse with the app, I think I'll go without and just set my calendar or phone reminders to do this for me. Such a good app in the past, I'm glad I didn't pay for the upgrade now!

Love this app. Very easy to use and saves me the job of remembering when to stop and start taking my pill. Maybe needs a more modern layout, but love it. Also love the chat aspect of it!

I really enjoy this app it really helps you keep track of your pills.

I always tend to get paranoid whether I am protected but this app tells you when and how much you are protected.

Used to be great....then I updated...

This app worked perfectly for me. Until I had to update it. And then if all went wrong. Can’t change my active and break days, and if I do manage to change them, they revert to the old settings once I close the app. To top it all off when you do email support it takes them roughly 2 weeks or longer to reply back. The longest I’ve had to wait is 3 weeks for them to come back and say they’re not sure and more details would be great, or that I need to pay to have the benefits of the app working. So maybe once you pay the price you will have a working app. Otherwise don’t bother.

I love this pill app , helps me keep track and is SUPER easy to use as well as sets alarms to remind you , it shows visuals of a pack and lets you write down , emotions , symptoms and you can write down if you miss a pill . Would completely recommend for any one that has just started and need to start to remember !

Update has made it rubbish

This app used to be excellent. But since it’s been updated it’s not working properly. Even once Iv taken my pill and recorded that Iv taken it the alarms still keep going off ! And the feature where you could select “pill taken” from the lock screen has also went faulty. It doesn’t actually record your pill as taken so when you actually go into the app a few days down the line it says you have missed about 4 pills when you haven’t. Because of this I started going into the app itself to record me taking my pill but now I’m getting the constant alarm problem

Trying to make more money

They have recently made features which used to be free (like having placebo pills?!?!) only available for premium members. Now the app will not notify me to take my placebo pills 🙁 Other features only available for premium include multiple notifications (or the “snooze” feature). There was no warning, I just woke up and my settings were all different, like the number of active/ break days, so I had to go through and reconfigure them..

Used to be great

It used to be a really good app with free alerts but now you only have one notification unless you go premium which is too expensive imo. However, I have this on my iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 10 and everything is free so it might just be for iOS 11 or iPhone X. Unless you’re really good and remember to take it on your first notification, it’s just a tracking app.

Everyday when I take my pill I need to update/reset the number of pills in my package to 28 and that there’s 0 days of pause/break within one package and other... layout is not so good on iPhone X
