Update after writing this about a year ago Domino’s haven’t done anything to correct this issue. So they don’t give a **** about customer satisfaction.. Passed review I assume when they made this app they didn’t bother doing a full check. Domino’s alway use less cheese than others so I always have and will do add extra cheese. This worked on their old app but try it now! Next to the cheese theirs an icon which says extra… Try selecting it and you will get a message saying “this toppling can’t be removed from pizza” I’ve tried everything to get around it but with no luck. I also told my local restaurant but they don’t care…. Obviously no one cares about the app neither. Shame I do love their pizzas otherwise I would be going elsewhere

Dreadful service, but most importantly, after knowing someone who worked for them, and being told what happens in terms of food hygiene, I truly would recommend that you use Papa Johns, or any other pizza company, rather than Dominoes, if you would like to avoid being very ill with food poisoning.

I received a text that there was a 1 day only special offer of £6.99 any pizza through the Domino’s app. I called into the store at lunchtime to check if the offer was genuine and was reassured that it was. That evening, I attempted to order through the app but was unable to access the offer. I then phoned the store when I was advised that store staff could not access the offer and suggested that I order through the Internet. I tried but again the offer was not available. By this time, the kids were getting irritable at the lack of a pizza which I had promised. I had to hold my nose and order at the price through the deal ‘Wizard’. Even then, I thought the discount would be applied on checkout. No dice Domino’s. Please fix the glitch. Please refund me.

We were a group of 14 consisting of 4 separate families who were meeting up at one of the groups places. I got the app and it said I could send a link to everyone to add to the order with me being the host. So the other families ordered and so did I. When we met up and the pizzas arrived there was one extra of nearly everything. So we checked everyone's phones and what they had ordered. When I checked my email extra items had been added. I didn't initially question the items on the app before I pressed pay as I didn't know what everyone had ordered. The only correct order was mine (the host). I phoned Domino's who came to collect the extra items and they said they would refund me but it isn't in my account yet. So be careful when doing a group order and check before you pay

Did not realise that they’re charging for delivery last time I will be ordering, this is our monthly treat for the children the pizza’s are lovely but when you are spending £50 all but a penny this delivery charge is wrong there’s plenty of other pizza delivery places to get pizza delivered for free so unless they drop this charge I will not be ordering again out of principal of this charge as it was always free delivery when you spend a certain amount you have to have a minimum charge for delivery. I would always give the person delivering a £2 tip because I think they deserve this for delivering my food don’t want to pay dominions an extra £2 ……think the person delivering my food is more deserving of this £2 tip
I read online that delivery over £35 was free from certain stores……..not doing themselves any favours in the current climate!!!!

The food from Domino’s is great but the app could do with some improvements.
1. When you’re placing a small order, the delivery button is greyed out until the user reaches a minimum threshold that will qualify them for home delivery. It would be good to know, at the checkout, the amount left to qualify for home delivery.
2. The tracker isn’t always accurate - on many occasions the order shows as delivered when it hasn’t actually been delivered. I’m not sure what triggers the updates on the tracker but it would be good to be able to track the delivery driver (similar to deliveroo or Uber) to avoid misinformation

There is no straight way of giving a rating for the order raised. I have had a bad recent experience which has never happened before i can’t share it through the app. When I go to contact us it asks for mail app to be configured I do not understand why 🤷♂️
I used to like the order tracker until now when my order is marked delivered without actually delivering it and I have to wait for 1hr for the order and there is no record of it as the order status changed..!! Have also ordered for extra toppings and no luck for that too after all this and simply waste of money.. I will try to add google reviews separately instead of this app.. ☹️

Great pizza as usual, but….. You need the offers promoted to make this place anywhere near a reasonable price. I mean, who’d pay £20 for 1 pizza and think that was ok? Thing is, they have that many different offers, it’s just simply too confusing. Why not just be able to order, and the best offer gets applied? Even better, scrapball offers and make the food a reasonable price to start with? Oh and why not accept cash anymore? Don’t tell me - a covid measure? If I ran a business, I’d be happy with any payment quite frankly.

Delivery to our village is available but you wouldn’t know unless you spoken to the store who were very helpful. We have had dominos delivered before so called the store confused about the app declaring otherwise.
We had to deliver to store and enter address into driver instructions. Odd for an app which is supposed to be modern.
It is unclear what discounts you are able to use e.g NHS and Veteran so whether we were or weren’t allowed we were unable.
How 3 pizzas and 4 cookies came to over £60 so roughly £20 is justified I’ll never know.
At checkout our what should have been £53 came to over £60. Our offer for the 3rd pizza was showing as complete so it took some figuring out that because of our 50% off deal the discount was void with no indication.
£32 wasn’t horrendous but the overall Experience wasn’t fantastic. I’d have ordered at our local scoozi in a heartbeat if we hadn’t of had to collect. I don’t like to say but Not sure I’ll be back to dominos.....

Tried to order dominos the night before and it would let us order as normal then we get to the delivery part and t would say collection only not a major problem we just cooked tea 🤣then our friends came over the following night and we had promised the kids pizza for tea we laughed and said we tried to order last night and they were not delivering so we phoned the branch to check and the girl said yes we are delivering so we said no problem we will order via the app. So after we have spent 10 minuets figuring out what the best deal is hit order and to our suppress they are not delivering great thanks ! REPLY TO DEV: Thank you. I guess my main issue is that some combos and sides or drinks don’t count towards the deal so it isn’t clear what applies and you have to add and remove to see what triggers the deal. It would be good to have some sort of visual queue as to what is or isn’t included.

Dominos customer services have been giving me such a hard time. They delivered to my flat twice when my friend ordered for me but they started refusing all of a sudden saying the card was not registered to my flat. My friend’s card isn’t registered to their flat either but they get dominos all the time. And my other friend’s card is registered back in her home country but they deliver to her address here as well. So I called them to ask them why and the guy kept saying it’s policy. So I told him how they’ve been doing this for people I know but not for me. The guy still refused. So I asked to speak to the manager and he hung up on me. I’m very disappointed in the way I have been treated. I wouldn’t recommend dominos to anyone. Ever.

I have not used the app for a few months, and on opening today, it appears to have been updated. Okay, but why had it signed out my account? So I re-register, select Collection, find my usual BOGOF deal, pick the pizzas, add stuffed crust, add to basket, and notice the collection time is 7-12 minutes. It tells me I have to click into check out to change it, I do, and clicking on the collection time presents only one option: 7-12 minutes. Two things:
1. I don’t want the pizza at 15:30, I want to collect it at 17:15 because…

They have a voucher on the app/online that offers 50% off any order over £100 excluding drinks & desserts (yes Domino’s I did understand the disclaimer), but, now wait for it, their online order limit is £100.
So unless you are Carol Vordermann and already have a full tummy of food to stop your brain & body start suffering from fatigue whilst trying to work through the minefield of “offers”, you might try and see if you are allowed to land your order on the exact amount of £100 and receive your £50 discount or if you then fail to activate this offers requirements as technically you haven’t spent over the £100 stated in the offer!!!!!

Not sure if it’s you or Halifax but it tells me to open my banking app. Approve the payment then come back. Did this 5 times. Payment unsuccessful every time. Called the store who refused to take my order because collection is online only. Tried a different card (not Halifax). This didn’t direct me to a banking app but still. Payment could not be made. Had to set up an Apple Pay just to get the order in. So it’s not our bank as apple pay went through fine. It’s the website and app. It doesn’t communicate effectively with the banks. Not only that. Asking you to open up a banking app whilst the website is still running in the background feels very unsecure just like fake tech support who share your screen and steal your details. I don’t like this change. Remove it

The app itself is great and works really well, we use it regularly, however, the 50 character limit on the delivery instructions is not good.
We live in a location where SatNav takes delivery drivers far off course and need to give instructions so that they can find us. Has anyone at Dominoes actually tried typing in even basic guidance into this field on the app? 50 characters is not enough! Even Twitter provides 280 characters …

Great food, hugely overpriced for what it is, but as for the app, it works well and the customisation options are almost perfect, but seriously... I want to order some tasty Dominos pizzas without the excessive and unnecessary data gathering and tracking. I just want to enjoy pizza, not to be tracked!
The App Store warns us that this app uses your location when you are not using it. You want my browser history? Why? I'm just not that interesting!
Your developers need to attend a Data Protection/GDPR refresher course! Dominos lunch will be provided.
I wish we could toggle for a light/thin layer or sauce and/or cheese. We have to phone the local Dominoes immediately after ordering via the app to request this. Staff are always happy to help but it's a shame we have to bother them.
Such a shame you can't order garlic bread without it only available covered in cheese.

This is such a well laid out and easy to use app that it’s actually a pleasure to use. So quick to set up an account that within minutes your order is complete and you can sit back and wait for your delivery. Of course you could always go and collect it from the store yourself if you’re so inclined, but for terminally lazy people like me that’s not an option. I’ve been a fan of Domino’s food for a long time and now I’m a fan of the app too!

Not sure if this is a change in general or just with the new app, but the ability to change or customise has been altered and is now awful.
On a make your own, there is no option to have a vegan base for example, the pizzas say gluten free, but then select a crust and it says this has gluten in which is contradictory. You can’t add vegan cheese to the make your own also? What has happened to the choice (aware of the limited menu since Covid, but this is a more recent change).
If you select a vegan pizza without fake chicken, you are now unable to change and add in the substitute? Very odd. Also you are only able to have the thinner crust pizzas in large?
You can now only make 2 changes and swapping bbq for tomato or vice versa now counts as a change. So simply switching sauce (which I don’t imagine adds any additional cost of labour) penalises you and means any other changes are added as an ‘addition’. Very poor choice and seemingly lack of customisation for vegan options.
Dominos aren’t the cheapest pizza around regardless but the customisable element was always a benefit which has now been removed in preference of what seems a money making scheme, disappointing.

Not happy with having to spend time registering on an app that made creating a password so difficult!! I tried about 6 different passwords, all within the parameters, until it at last accepted it.
Then it wouldn’t accept payment so told me to ring the shop but the reason I was in the app in the first place was that the shop weren’t accepting phone orders.
Had to go through the whole process twice before it accepted my details.
It used to take two minutes on the phone. And now I’ve got one more password to remember 😡
And now it won’t accept my “nickname” !!!! 😥

The pizza is nice but the price is very high and the range of toppings is very narrow. No olives (long before the pandemic I should add), no tuna, no anchovies. I’m not really sure why these aren’t offered. It may be just our local branch (Redcar).
Regarding the price, there are often voucher codes available on the app or on flyers we get through the letterbox. The price is still high after they’ve been applied though, and it leaves you thinking “Why not just have the prices lower and do away with all the vouchers? It just complicates it and surely puts people off when they see the baseline price?”
It just leaves me wishing we had a Papa John’s close by that would deliver.

Dominoes. Personally, delivery is always on time. The track my order app is heaven. I have autism. I don’t like talking on phone or seeing people. With dominoes I can track every step and know exactly when to expect a delivery, receive and enjoy total contact free, and one to one talk free. All done online which makes my life 100% better i this regard. The pizza and sides are yummy. My only gripe is how expensive the food is. I pay because it’s the best but in that have to sacrifice other things I need in my life.

Hi. I had difficulty ordering via the app, as I didn't want any cheese or sauce (I know, weird, right?!)- Just pineapple. The app doesn’t enable this so I phoned to ask the shop to remove the 2 items once the order was placed via the app. The Banbury staff member, Ellie, was extremely helpful and got this sorted for me.
PS It would be great if customers could place the order by phone and then collect. That would solve the problem (or add an option in the app for ‘no cheese’ and/or ‘no sauce’.

No thank you. Use Apple Pay please. Last one, guys be aware when these guys make a mistake on your order they will tell you “ when you order again “. So I am paying you now, but when you make a mistake I will have to pay you again to correct it ? Outrageous policy at least.

You can never go wrong with domino’s pizza. It never fails me except that one time they got my order wrong but heyyy give them a break. I myself am abit if a plain Jane as I order a plain cheese and tomato pizza and it still tastes like heaven. If only dominos could love me as much as I love them. For real tho I highly recommend this app, just the logo makes my mouth water.

Firstly, I had to wait a good few minutes for the app to download, but I put that down to the poor WiFi at the gym not dominos itself. I probably order dominos once a day after I finish my 12 minute workout and the food is always stupendous. I specifically love the tandoori hot as I feel the spice speeds up my metabolism. Also the discrete packaging allows me to hide my naughty deliveries from from my partner, unlike Love Honey which had gotten me into a lot of trouble in the past.

I downloaded this app and it downloads really quickly. I waited maybe like 3 seconds for it to load once I tapped the app and I instantly fell in LOVE ♥️❤️♥️!! I signed up and it was all chill and easy nothing confusing or personal questions at all! It shows you where the nearest shop is and have you seen their Menu! Lota-chocca pizza!!! And it all comes at an amazing price and there are hundreds of deals!! I ordered my first pizza and got it delivered and the Dominos cars are sooooo COOL 😎! We got everything we wanted and it tasted DELISH 😋!! So we ordered it again like a week later cause it was so 🤤 tasty!! We went to collect it this time as we were travelling home from holiday! We ordered it while we were 15 minutes away and the moment we got there our food was ready!
Some people think that papa johns is better but in my opinion it’s not! No offence to anyone.

Pointless ordering a pizza from this franchise that clearly couldn’t care less, you have numerous bad reviews on google and I’m assuming the good reviews are fake or paid for. Everytime I use the app to order either the pizza is wrong or just doesn’t turn up, instead of a refund you are offered vouchers which I find insulting. I should be offered a full refund and the possibility of a discount if you want a disappointed customer to return not we will keep your money and if you come back you can have some discount. I’m assuming the store had more than 2 orders and that’s when it went pear shaped I expect the food I ordered at 19:34 to turn up on the back of a horse and cart looking like it’s been cooked under someone armpit, great job everyone you should take Monday off as a reward!!!

What’s missing or buggy makes this quite irritating to use.
For example, I can find no way to change my default store, even though I moved house 4 years ago. If I don’t remember to specifically search for my ‘new’ store before ordering, the order goes to my old one 30 miles away. And if I remember mid-order, I can’t move the basket over: I have to start from scratch.
Editing a basket item also causes problems. If I try to change the crust on a half-and-half, the app reliably just hangs until I cancel. After numerous attempts, I just had to recreate my pizza and delete the previous one from basket.

I applied a voucher which gave me a discount of just over £22.
I like dominos but to be honest this will be my last order!
4 small pizzas that cost over £40 is frankly ridiculous when other local outlets are offering buy one get one free far cheaper.
Who in their right mind would pay £65 for 4 small pizzas. They need to cut out the voucher nonsense making out that you are getting a deal and stick to realistic pricing. After all it’s just bread with toppings!!

Hi, I’ve been really disappointed with the Cwmbran Store service of recent. My last 5 out of 6 orders have been delivered with the incorrect items. The actual pizza itself looks like it’s just been thrown together with no care at all. There’s always a decent amount of toppings on one slice of pizza and then very little or even none at all on the rest. Also, the wedges have been cold every time I’ve ordered them. My drink orders are always wrong, I think the Cwmbran store have got my drink orders wrong more than they have right. I love the food and I have loved the service up until recent. If the price is as high as it is, ie believe we should be getting a better service than the last few times I’ve ordered. There definitely needs to be more care and effort put into the food and service in the Cwmbran store.

Were I even start, firstly It would not allow me to pay by cash only by card which I didn’t want to, next the deal I was initially on just randomly disappeared and would not allow me to go back or even order that deal when I was first on it and finally your website would not allow me to change any of my delivery details so I could not order the pizza this happened multiple times and got me rather annoyed
Moving on to your app, it wouldn’t let me get on most deals that’s we’re on the website and the pizza I wanted wasn’t on the menu even though I saw it on the website 5 minutes earlier. This is the last time I will by trying to order from the website or app unless you sort it out or offer me some discount or offer for my trouble😡🤬

Basically me and my partner use to really enjoy and spend a lot of money at dominoes because of your double decadence layer base . We have been discouraged and severely upset by the fact it can no longer be found . So this would of been a five star review but with the decadence gone and also the Mexican pizza option gone too , I simply can’t give you that rating . It’s not the same anymore. I’ve seen a petition online to bring back the decadence, me and my partner will be signing it.
And I’m sure we will not be spending as much money and love on dominoes services . I’ve been a very consistent customer for five years now and as you can tell have been disappointed .
Pizza Tracker pointless.

The app overall is actually OK but on my last 2 orders (which were made on busy periods and ended up being significantly late) it’s become evident that the tracker is pointless and misleading. On one occasion it told me the pizza was being quality checked for 30 mins. I called the store and they explained that the tracker was prone to being inaccurate in busy spells. On the second occasion my pizza was 40 mins late but the app informed me it had been delivered. The store simply stated that the tracker was on a timer and shouldn’t be relied on. So it seems the only purpose in the tracker is to mislead and further infuriate customers who’s pizza delivery is running late.....

5 star app, makes it so easy to order pizza it's dangerous. Also really pleased with the addition of the track your driver feature in pizza tracker, brings the app up to par with competitors like Deliveroo.
Only feedback is, ironically, I found it difficult to leave you feedback!!
If there is an option in the app to leave feedback, it's hard to find, and if not, then can I recommend you add one?
From the App Store page I can see there's a support email address, even adding that into the app as an option to contact you would do.

I won't review the food because we know how great that is. The app is really polished at this stage, hardly any friction whatsoever. Nicely designed and responsive. The only change I would make is to have a more obvious animation to denote items being added to the order. Perhaps the added item could "zoom" into the basket, as well as the basket shaking to indicate the add. I had something like 7 pizzas accidentally added before I worked out they were in fact being added. Maybe I'm just dumb, well let's be honest I am. And as much as I would love 7 Pepperoni Passiobs, someone has to draw the line somewhere.

Been a loyal customer for many years and always loved your food as there is no other that does it like dominos do it but the fact that you choose not to deliver to my new address on Hayling Island is a joke, I am a father on four and I find this very petty as i used to live in Southampton in a place called Holbury and its an even longer one road in and out with oil tankers continuously driving too and from esso refinery as well as busses and commuters. Dominos would deliver to us there.
My main point is that your food is very expensive as it is and I should if I wish be able to get it delivered to my home instead of costing me even more money in fuel and time. This is the reason that I do not use dominos as much as I used too which is a shame but why would you care as you make enough money and that’s all dominos seems to care about.

My order on the app was £42. The same thing ordered on the website was £31. This is because the app does not apply available deals for you – you have to select them yourself and then restart your order from the beginning. For 2 create-your-own pizzas, this is a total pain.
I have ordered the same two pizzas every month or two for about 7 years. Because of Domino’s stupid “deals” system, the price is always about £20-£25, but it seems to never be the same twice, and I have to jump through hoops and figure out their system to get the best price EVERY SINGLE TIME. The app makes this stupid system (on which I am something of an expert after all this time) even worse.
Speaking as a longtime loyal customer who will probably keep on buying the same two pizzas for another 7 years: SORT YOUR PRICING OUT. The app would have been a great opportunity to do so…

Initially had problems remembering which password I used for the app and dominos bar you from using the app for 5 minutes after 3 attempts. Hungry for pizza I decided to click on the ‘forgot password’ link..... MASSIVE MISTAKE!!! I have now been through so many passwords as I am not allowed to use any of my old passwords which I remember far more easily. Awful experience trying to use the app to order pizza, as the last thing you want when you’re hungry is to keep waiting 5 minutes to be allowed into the app to order.
I would understand this level of security for say a banking app, but for pizza delivery it is completely over the top and only serves to make it difficult for me to order pizza through what is otherwise a decent app.
Fix these issues dominos and I’ll go back to using the app and not the browser.
Postcode bug which is required just to see the Menu?

This app requires you to enter your postcode to access the app or even see the menu, deals etc.
This doesn’t work in the case of my local Dominos. I live just over 3 miles from my nearest Dominos who agree to deliver to my street (I am on the last street for their delivery). However, I’m guessing this distance is above that of the National Dominos normal delivery range and the app does not allow a delivery option from my postcode. This wouldn’t be so bad because I call them to order BUT I can’t even SEE the delivery deals because it thinks my house is too far away.
It takes me a good 10 minutes of googling a fake postcode just to see their delivery deals. Such a nuisance.

I logged in, selected the shop to collect from and selected my pizzas but after going back to change my order, the app changed the shop to one at the location I was at rather than the one I previously selected which was close to my home. I didn’t realise this until immediately after the order was placed (and paid for) but it wouldn’t let me cancel the order or change the location. I tried to order again but the app wouldn’t let me change the location from the one it ‘saved’, so I had to log out and order again without logging in. STUPIDEST APP EVER!!!

The app is still pretty much the same, I regularly order from the app.
But it still has it pit falls:
1.Your able to save Fav Pizza or configuration of an order. But it doesn’t remember the setup. I.e whether it was a collection deal or part of a bigger order.
Please can you either add the function to save the complete configuration or at least when choose a meal deal allow you to pick your saved favourite.
2. Your not able to edit or re-configure side orders. For example, I’m allergic to cheese. So I would like to be able to order the garlic bread without the cheese; without having to ring the store before ordering on the app or just completely order over the phone.
Same for bacon & wedges, I’d much rather bbq drizzled over all. Please, please amend this in the app.
3. While your about to reconfigure your pizza tipping, the same can’t be said for the crusts. The hotdog option was great until you could only order with mozzarella, unless yet again. Ringing the store in advance. Which defeats the point of the app.
Other than the 3 points above, am a big fan of the app and specially the store I order from these day. Clydach, Swansea store is the best I’ve come across & considering I usually order Domino’s up to 3 times per week & from different store depending on my location or if I go pick it up. Dominos aren’t the cheapest, but I think you get what you pay for, which is why I’m so pleased Dominos have made ordering their meal deals so easy. The app used to be a bit cumbersome with a clunky UI where you were never sure you were getting what you wanted: usually I’d give in and just phone instead.
Now, however, the interface is much improved: when you select a deal, you’re presented with its elements. Suppose the deal is on a large pizza, medium pizza and any side; you first see three boxes labelled appropriately with the 3 parts of your meal deal. Then it’s as easy as selecting each box in turn and choosing from the list that follows. Once all 3 boxes are filled with your choices, you just add to basket and head for the checkout. Simple, easy, intuitive. You know exactly what you’re getting and if you change your mind, just go back and select which pizza you want to replace.
The order goes straight to the kitchen of your local Dominos and then a while or a few mins later, there’s a knock at the door...!

Works well but god help if you move house. You go on fill up the basket, make everything just right and then you notice the postcode has defaulted to old address. Can’t change address without emptying the basket... Ok, so I physically log on and the last 5+ deliveries are to my new address so that’s got to be right surely??! See my new postcode...winning! Fill up basket and get everything just right and then BAM! Haunted by old address again!!!!! Have to dump the basket yet again to then change the postcode. I have been so close to throwing my phone in rage!

I love this App! It makes ordering my favourite comfort/Saturday movie night in food so simple!!! A couple of clicks and boom just sit around and wait for that glorious sound, car pulling up outside and anticipation for the knock on the door, you can add lots of payment methods and I’ve found a loophole for the “if order is over £50 cash it can not be accepted” you make the order into 2,3,4 orders. The only problem with that is that you might not be able to apply voucher codes. Overall though love this app so much easier than using a telephone, ughhh how outdated and savage, also a lot easier than the website.

Placed an order through the app, which works perfectly. The driver left some of the order at the store, he proceeded to argue when this was bought to his attention. He claimed I could not count, as the number on the sticker matched the number of boxes he handed over. I showed him my order and he said he'd be back in 20 minutes, half hour later he returned with the wrong items and left before anything could be said .... extremely disappointed!!

App is great generally but it’s virtually impossible to choose the right deal. Spend ages back and forth trying to figure out the cheapest way to buy what you want.
They should just let you put it all in a basket and tell you which deal gives you the cheapest price.
Leaves a nasty taste when you think you’ve probably just been conned.
Worse with kids because some want this. Others want that.
I think would be better making prices cheaper and doing away with all those deals.
