The pay is awful, some tasks being £2 for a lengthy time at the store. They also will refuse to pay out even when all the items required were photographed, tasks also take a considerably long time to be approved. Stay well away from this app.

Recently started using this app after having it downloaded for a while. Wow, I regret not using it sooner. The tasks can be super convenient - and it helps me earn a little extra money whilst in shops I was going to be visiting anyway. There are tasks that are quick & easy, there are tasks that are a bit more time consuming and there are a few tasks that make you think what’s the point!
As long as you read the task, follow the instructions, be observant, don’t rush and use a bit of common sense then you’ll do well.
Don’t get me wrong there have been times when I’ve had failed tasks, but as long as you take the feed back on board and don’t make the same mistake twice you’ll start making a bit extra money.

I’ve been using this app for around five years when it comes to mystery shopping. I must say that this is one of the best companies out there. You can withdraw any amount you want which is a bonus and the tasks are usually paid at a reasonable amount when there have been issues, I have contacted support through the in app messaging, they have always been really helpful and my problem has always been resolved very quickly. It’s really easy to use. It’s really easy to take pictures and the whole experience of being a mystery shopper with Roamler has been a very nice experience

Complete waste of time!
Complete waste of time, don’t bother downloading it. You spend 20 minutes in a shop taking sneaky pics of items (bare in mind you’re probably at risk at getting thrown out by security) all for them to take a few days to review it and sometimes you don’t get paid for the most littlest of things. And they refuse to reimburse you. I suggest trying another app!

Underpaid and sometimes no pay at all.
For the amount of work you do it’s not worth the pay. No mileage paid and most of the time you get £2- £7 per task and for the amount of work you do it’s just not worth it.
Then there are the “rejections” which can happen for any number of reasons. They will find a reason to reject your work and not pay you.
Do not download this app thinking you’ll make some nice money on the side because you won’t. If you just happen to be in a store with a task then sometimes it might be worth it but even then most of the time it’s way too underpaid. The developers are getting wealthy off your hard work in store while you get hardly anything.
There are better apps to make money out there.

Good idea - but not worth the hassle
I completed my first task which was reviewing a beer at a local pub. Everything went fine. I tried a second which was for £9 and involved over 100 photos/questions! There was one product which they wanted a photo of, which I thought would be where I took the photo. One incorrect photo from 100 odd asks and they refused the payment.

Beware: Some Ludicrous Jobs
Roamler is ok fundamentally; they usually have a good list of jobs which are varied in nature. Some jobs are absolutely fine and achievable. The reviewers are very polite and do their best to give you fair, constructive feedback.
However, some jobs are simply ridiculous: E.g. Being asked to audit gyozas unannounced and with no credentials in a small supermarket and being expected to take up to 5 photos PER SHELF….
Also being failed on jobs because you physically can’t achieve the required content capture on a specific photograph (with no option to include multiple photos). All in all, this means you can waste significant amount of time travelling and performing tasks and end up unpaid.
I would advise caution using this platform: There is at least one MUCH better alternative which provides much better support, sets very realistic requirements with clear and concise instructions, with fair rewards for the work you perform.

So I got an email saying there have been improvements since my review (which I guess was bad? It’s been so long I can’t even find it)
Okay, downloaded the app, tried to sign in, got a “this user is inactive” error. No hint how to reactivate. Came back to the app store and clicked the support button and got a 404 error. Went back to the email they sent me and it’s from a noreply address.
Maybe the app is good, who knows.

£9 task takes up 40 mins locating different items running back n forth from different aisles. Payment fees, plus no travel expenses, cost more in petrol n no benefits, plus your using your own gadgets, taking pictures at your own risk unlike others reps they have gadgets n look more representative for the brand they work for. Best app i’ve found for easy money making
Super easy to use. Consistent jobs that are mostly easy depending which you do. Pay is decent if you think about how much you’d make an hour usually. Usually it’s £4 a job and if you do 4 an hour (easy to do) that’s £16! I’ve made £60 in 4 hours before. It’s a great motivator if you’re struggling with mental health and want to get back into working. Great app.

Good earning capability
Honestly I remember searching for a way to make money online.
I left my 9-5 job and I really enjoy the spontaneous nature of the job.
I basically get paid to refine my photography talent and get my steps in.
One month taking Roamler semi seriously I earned over £300.
So I recommend it, and the staff are very helpful.
Going up the level is also not hard as you are able to ask for help and get the tasks right.
I’ll be honest there’s some tasks which could potentially earn you money that may be rejected but the feedback is helpful and helps you to improve.
It would be great to be accepted every time but I respect the high standards of Roamler.
It’s also a great way to socialise with other people while you do the job.

I’ve found this app easy to navigate and incredibly user friendly. When you compare it to similar company’s apps you realise how brilliant it really is. Being able to message Roamler staff directly through the app rather than having to email is vital. This is the most greedy mystery shop app that I ever used. A completely waste of time filling my profile and getting certifications. The payment is like a joke in comparison with the detail of the tasks that you are asked to complete and the time you spend in that. As I am having a great experience with other mystery shopper apps I though this one would work well for more extra money. But I’m deleting it now. Does not worth the effort at all.

I came across Roamler nearly 2 years ago and have not stopped using it since. I have a few apps and website for similar things and Roamler is by far the best for job availability. Great app to use with lots of tasks
The app has a wide variety of tasks, some purchase and review tasks (products reimbursed), some check and fix in supermarkets, some that can be done from home etc. Usually quick responses on messages, and reviews are usually within 48 hours although this can be longer when they’re very busy. Most technical issues are sorted out quickly. Definitely recommend!

A must for anyone who wants to earn a little bit more. A big range of tasks and lots available most of the time. Some better than others but everyone’s mileage will vary.
Help and support is pretty quick and the payment time is excellent.
One of the biggest gripes is the optimistic time they think it will take to do a ask. A lot of the times it will take longer.

Okay little extra income.
Tasks sometimes don’t come through very often but can be okay to do. It’s mostly good but I’ve started getting an error when logging me out of the app randomly and having me log back in. This also means every time it happens I have to revering my PayPal which is frustrating.

Don’t Bother
I recently joined this app (yesterday) and carried out a number of tasks this morning. If I had any questions or areas I was unsure of, I spoke to members of staff for help. Everything seemed fine.
After completing a few task my app started to act funny and wouldn’t let me access anything. I was then logged out and I received an email saying that my account had been deactivated.
At the time I had at least £60 worth of confirmed and pending tasks. I did not make a request for an account deactivation and have had no response from Roamler regarding this.

Not worth your time or fuel
I’ve used Roamler for roughly 4 years. It used to be fun and real cash could be earned on the side. The developers have got greedy overtime with 90+ percent of recent jobs not worth the fee. You are being undercut. The developers are wealthy off your back and in return you get a sluggish review process with sloppy inconsistencies. Nonsense rejections and poor feedback.
The people who review your jobs for payment changes often. Many of them, do not know what they are doing. There will be instances where you should get paid but do not. I have done this type of work for a long time and I’m experienced. If you work with enough companies, you tend to recognise general margins. You understand how poor the pay is on the app. The only positive thing I can say about Roamler is app functionally is probably the best of all similar apps.
You should not be cold calling businesses for £3. You should not be doing jobs for big companies such as Tesco for £3. How much do you think Tesco paid Roamler? Can’t change everyone’s mind. If you don’t care about money, there’s lots of experience points to earn for a useless leaderboard. But be warned, there is no reward for your loyalty. The people who will do anything for any amount are most valued here.

Have several types of these apps but this is the easiest to use. There is always plenty of missions to choose from and you don’t need to wait until you earn over a certain amount before you can withdraw it which is very handy.

Great app
I absolutely love Roamler and have been active for two years on the app. It is great and I enjoy trying to find local tasks to my location. The payments for jobs go through fast and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. My only criticism is that the tasks can require a lot of photography and stealth and sometimes the fee makes it not worth doing. For example a supermarket job requiring 24 or so photos and time to do it and can be upwards of half an hour and you get £3. Some jobs do increase in fee when closer to the due dates.

Very reliable, way to use system
I’ve been a Roamler for several years now. I don’t do it because I need the money, I do it because it keeps services and businesses on their toes and ensures good quality services to local communities.
The app is straightforward to use, easy to understand. Payment is reliable and prompt. I’ve only had one job turned down, and on looking back it was because I hadn’t fulfilled the brief.
If you either need a few pounds spare cash, or just enjoy commenting on the service you receive, this is for you.

Interesting way to earn extra money
Put simply: Do Tasks, Get Paid.
Sometimes it’s a survey, sometimes a mystery shop, sometimes an online task and sometimes some authorised merchandising in stores. Whatever comes up they’re usually interesting and rarely take more than 15 minutes.

Really good app for extra money. Out of a few of them this one is by far the best, quick replies to queries about tasks and they don’t fail a task if they don’t have to! They will look through the info you have provided and if at all possible find the correct answers. This is not the case with many of these apps.

Roamler review - nearly 5 star!
Much as I’d like to say this app works perfectly, it just falls short in one area - the time taken for opportunities to load. They always load eventually, but you do tend to get stuck with a ‘buffering’ style icon for longer than appreciated. Hopefully a future app update will soon address this.
Once resolved, we will be talking about a 5 star app that is easy to navigate, intuitive to the user, a good earner, and written in plain English.

Easy to use- easy to locate different tasks to fulfil. It’s great to see all the info in the main page- how much experience points I’ll earn- how much money I could earn etc. Also shows me distance to each spot making it a really easy to use app.

Just a few improvements and it will make a great app
Only criticism is that sometimes the evaluations of the tasks could improve, and chats are not specific to each task so it’s difficult to discuss the feedback (it is, at least, not appealing). Other than that, what’s not to like about making extra cash!? There are no gimmicks, you do the task, you get cash. Add up to 20 quid and you can claim it (and so far they’ve been really fast paying, usually a few minutes later).

User friendly layout and bugs get fixed quickly.

Not quite true but I travel for my job and always seem to be away, Roamler allows me utter freedom to earn some extra cash when my main work is done and being both in UK and Europe suits me perfectly. The tasks (most) are engaging and the support from the team via the message tab is first class.

This app has been great for earning some extra money throughout university and unlike similar apps, you get rewarded fairly for the amount of work you do for each task.

Stay clear!!
The advise is that tasks will be reviewed within 48 hours, in reality it takes up to 20 days.
I completed a mobile phone task which was rejected as I didn’t have a coverage check completed which wasn’t asked for in the guidance notes. When I asked for a review on the decision I was advised that a project manager would look at it but over a week later nobody has. To make things worse, I had completed an mobile phone task where no coverage check was completed and this was accepted??
I also completed an ice cream check where I was unable to see the manager as they were on lunch. The guidance notes advised that I would receive part of the reward if I’m unable to see the manager, however this didn’t happen and instead my task was rejected and I was advised to go back to the shop after the managers lunch break, the issue was that this rejection was nearly a week after my first visit!! I asked for a review which I was told a project manager would look at the task again, I’ve had no review, contact from anyone nor have I had my reward. Again I had completed another ice cream task which was accepted in exactly the same circumstances??
I’ve sent messages through the app along with an email to the support team. No update on the reviews and no answer to my email and it’s been over a week.
Really bad customer service and untrustworthy as the company don’t stick to what they say.
I’m never using this app again.

Bad customer service
Downloaded app to earn a bit of pocket money.
Every time I’ve completed a task, the app has crashed at 93% so I answer most of the questions then lose the payment part.
I spent two hours completing a task for them and it crashed but I was unhappy about it so messaged the team.
I got told to forward my answers via email and they would check it out and approve payment
A week later I still hadn’t heard back so I messaged and they said they would look into it right away.
Another week passes and I don’t hear back. I message saying I’m still waiting to hear back from them, it would be a shame if I had wasted two hours
They apologised and said that they had been busy, and that I would get a message back very shortly
I heard nothing for another 2 weeks so I messaged AGAIN.
I was told my message has been forwarded directly to that specific task manager and that I really would hear back right away
Surprise surprise, I heard nothing.
I tried my luck one last time, got told It would be seen to this time and nothing.
It’s now been 6 weeks and I clearly wasted two hours for them to not payout.
I’m now deleting my account
Absolutely AWFUL communication. You’re thrown about between different members of staff constantly. Nightmare.

Close second to BeMyEye
Tasks are plentiful, really easy instructions to guide you through. you have to complete a few tasks before you earn but I suppose that weeds out people with less enthusiasm however, the support is timely and encouraging so in two days I’ve pocketed £22 from wandering around my local town. As the cash for task apps go this is a close second to BeMyEye as they seem to have a lot of high paid tasks on a regular basis and once you have done one type of task it becomes even easier to complete so less funny looks from shoppers! Gets you a few extra pounds for completing tasks on your normal shopping trips.

A Life changing App for me
A bit over dramatic title just for an app right?
All I can say is that before Roamler I was suffering from depression due to a minor disability & rendered myself virtually totally housebound only leaving my home in absolute emergencies.
I started off just doing the little tasks at first & soon needed more points to level up which meant that I had to go out & about taking photos of whatever was required to get the points that I needed to level up. The added benefits, apart from alleviating my depressive symptoms was that I soon started making quite a bit of money. Out of the money I got myself a gym membership to help me lose a few pounds. In now use Roamler to supplement my disability benefits & give me enough money to buy xmas presents etc. Thanks Roamler for helping me to change my life!

Questionable reviewers
As a high lever tasker with Roamler and many other similar apps I beckon you to proceed with caution. There will be a couple of tasks every year where you bend over backwards to meet the requirements of the task only for them to be rejected for highly questionable reasons. Sadly, Roamler employ reviewers that are level 1 and level 2 taskers. They have no idea what it is like to undertake a task and have zero sympathies when you run into difficulties (even when you explain this in the task).
Let’s just say there are much better alternatives (that pay a lot more too).

Load of money
I don't know why people are complaining? This app is amazing. Been with them for about a year now. Must of made £300 for quick tasks. Tasks vary from £2- £15.
They are very easy to understand, all explained. The map shows you where the jobs are.
The staff are brilliant too. Always there to help out. Patient and friendly.
Better yet, refer a friend and you get a small percentage of what they earn!
The extra tasks are fun too where you earn points. More points mean higher levels. Higher levels mean more jobs accessible. Even tho to be honest when you reach level 2 I think you get the same as 3,4,5 etc. I'm on level 3 and notice no special jobs?
I wish there was more like this. And I had found it years ago!
