Cardiograph is an application which measures your heart rate. You can save your results for future reference, keep track of multiple people with individual profiles, add notes and locations, and even print out your measurements for sharing or safe keeping.

Does not record irregular heart rhythm
I downloaded this app as an easy way of recording the irregularity of my heartbeat but unfortunately it won't record my pulse unless it's regular. Very disappointing.

What has happened since upgrade ipad to ios8
Really good and accurate app that for the last couple of days since upgrade of ipad to ios8.2 looks terrible the Ecg printout has a thick black line through it and date in history hard to read .
July 2015 unable to delete any entries , makes the app crash . Please help

IT REALLY WORKS
I was sceptical when I downloaded this app but I though, why not?. I'm glad I did. Some how probable through the brightness detectors of the camera the phone does read your pulse. I experimented to test it by exceed using hard for 2 minutes and I then measured it and although there is a slight delay the phone recorded my BPM extremely accurately.

Beautifully designed app
All the heart rate apps I've used seem fine, but I like the iCloud integration with this one.
I'd like to see fancy graphs added and the ability to export a PDF of all the history.

Missing a beat
I'll perhaps come back and review this app when I can get it to work!! It keeps telling me to move to somewhere with more light. Barbados? I've tried this for a week now in a variety of settings: full sun, indoor lighting, 3 different houses - and all too dim to measure my heart rate.

Seemingly Not Reliable
This app does not seem, based on early experience of using it, to work very well. It seems to be impossible to place your finger correctly such that it actually measures your heart rate.

Seems to be accurate.
When compared to the pulse rate on an Omron blood pressure monitor they agree. The times it has not taken a reading has been my fault, e.g too much pressure on the screen or moving my finger about.

Impossible to get finger position right to give proper results. More false readings than true ones. Quicker and easier to hold my finger on my wrist for 20 seconds. Can I get my money back ???

I have an irregular heart beat and this app allows me to capture it when it happens, then print it out and show it to my cardiologist. Works well and very useful.

No Joke - It is a Life Saver
Messing around with this app my rate was average, another guys was in his 50's. One other was around 100, the person around 100 went to the doctor and was told her iron levels where below 6 and Vit D less than 10. Apparently the app save her from an Heart Attack!!!

Difficult to get a reading
Pretty useless for anything other than getting your pulse rate in a static indoor situation. I tried many times while out exercising - obviously stopping to take the reading and trying various positions of the finger, light and shade, front and back camera - but was unable to get a measurement.
