Almost 22 year of use!

I started using FF back in July 2004! From trying to conceive my two children to trying to navigate perimenopause, I have used this tracker pretty much consistently! It is incredibly useful and I value being able to look back on the historical data and have analysis on the current patterns.

New UI is dreadful

Used to love this app, been using it for 5yrs TTC but the new UI is sooo clunky. I’m sorry I’m sure someone is very proud of it, it wasn’t exactly amazing before but it served its purpose. The new design is pointless and not beneficial. It’s harder to use & less easy on the eye.

Issues

The app won't let sign up as a new member, I've tried 4 times with different email addresses on different times. It would of got no stars but wouldn't let me submit without adding a star. So no star rating !

Amazing

Wow. Amazing! Totally worth the download. I got pregnant after a few months of using FF, 100% recommend. I did not purchase the VIP package either, I only used what was free from the app but I can only imagine the benefits and amazing perks and benefits it gives if you do purchase the extras.

Useful

I’m finding FF useful. Just annoying you have to pay more for more info on your cycle such as whether you could be pregnant based on your previous data and data for that month. I used FF to get pregnant along with using Ovulation sticks with my son. So the basic version of FF does help understanding your cycle better to help with planning for a baby (or not)

Great for irregular cycles and specific symptoms

I love this app. It’s not as slickly designed as other fertility apps, and that might put you off, but it’s the most flexible and most scientific of any of them. You can even pick the analysis method that predicts ovulation (eg FAM, cutting edge research, etc). It taught me a lot about the important of fertile cervical mucus and has been very helpful in tracking my irregular (PCOS) cycles. I appreciate the granularity of symptoms and ability to track your own particular ones and add your own. The only thing I don’t like is feeling judged when it says my temps are out of their normals... I wish there was a box you could tick to say you have PCOS and then it wouldn’t accuse you of mis-measuring your temp or being abnormal.

Fertility help

I really like this app. I’m a medic and particularly found the fertility tutorials impressive. It’s amazing how many patients don’t know how their cycle works and how to optimise, or minimise, their fertility naturally. I have recommended this app to lots of couples who are trying to conceive, and even to those who are trying to learn natural rhythm contraception. If you can read properly through the tutorials you will have a much better understanding of your cycle and how to optimise it. The calendar is really useful just as a cycle tracker, or to help track fertility or even conditions like dysfunctional uterine bleeding, PCOS, menopause etc.
Well done fertility friend! I hope you get some great data to publish from this app.
(NB rhythm method is never suitable for someone for whom a pregnancy would be unacceptable as it’s just not reliable enough, but it can be helpful if you’re trying to space your family and wouldn’t mind a surprise).
Only thing I wish you’d add is the function to code a miscarriage and reset to start of cycle, as it’s a little painful when it continues to track a pregnancy after a sad demise. Many thanks.

Paid for a second year but not credited

After having paid for the first year full access I renewed full membership after it expired. However membership did not take and I emailed the team to let them know - they said because I had paid in the Apple platform I would have to contact Apple to sort it out. I didn’t understand why I should have to do this - why they couldn’t sort it for me - I had been offered renewal in the app which I had done - why offer a renewal option they don’t take responsibility for. And presumably the app team eventually receives those funds - and now it’s on me to chase Apple to sort it out. Thought that was poor and inconsiderate, and disregarded loyalty considering I had paid for the full access and hadn’t received it, and I was a returning customer.

App/website not working!

I have used FF for conceiving 2 of my children. The app no longer seems to work. Network error, cannot contact support through the app. Also the website does not load. When it works this app is 5 star. Please sort this out!

Does the job

FF is unbeatable in terms of data crunching but I really think it needs a facelift. It’s very ugly and dated looking compared to other apps. It’s still my go to but that’s what would get it 5 stars for me

Best fertility tracking app out there

I’ve used FF for over 10 years and it’s taught me so much. I’ve been pregnant 5 times now and charting and tracking with FF has always been so much fun and helped me to keep focus on my cycles and all the data I’ve needed to track.

A brilliant app

I used it to conceive my daughter with a subfertile partner. Timing is everything in those cases. Have used it now for almost 8 years to simply track my cycles. I have the paid version as I value the effort gone into the app. Thank you!

Fertility friend

Love love this app. It becomes in tune with your cycles and whether you are trying to get pregnant or just monitoring your cycles, it will get to know your cycles and predict them for future reference. Much better than any other fertility App out there.
I would like to see more options for IVF cycles tho.

Informative and helped me get pregnant

Best fertility app

Used this app when I got pregnant with my son 12 years ago. Been using it on and off since and tried many others. I tried 4 other apps but they always had something missing in them. Now I’ve been using this app for over 2 years and I’m enjoying it.

Taking back some control!

Having been TTC for two years now and with a PCOS diagnosis I have felt some very low lows and felt I have no control over anything. Fertility Friend has helped me to regain some of that control by helping me to understand my ever changing cycle! I don’t have a regular cycle length (ranging from 28 to 48 days) and this app has helped me to better predict my ovulation days which has helped with timing! The app is yet to give me an incorrect predicted period date and this is something I have never had the privilege of knowing before! I have learnt so much about my body and my signs and this in turn has helped with conversations with my doctor when seeking fertility support. We are now on track for ivf and I think this process has been helped along by already having all this tracked information to share with the consultant! I feel educated enough to talk confidently about what is normal for me and what I am concerned about with the doctors and this has made a huge difference to my mental health!
The educational tidbits are so informative and relevant to me!
The system isn’t always the most obvious in terms of where to find things and the layout is a bit outdated! But the support staff are very quick to respond if you have a question or problem! The daily information entering is Dailey straight forward and there are lots of forums to get some much needed support from fellow women on the same journey as you!
In short, this is the most accurate app I have found and I highly recommend it to anyone who is trying to get pregnant or just trying to gain a better understanding of their cycle!

Brilliant App

I fell pregnant while using this helpful app.
I brought a cheap thermometer online, that had two numbers after the point so you could read it more accurately (36.15) most are (36.1)
We had been trying for over a year, I’d been tracking on this app for about 8mths. Seemed forever, but we did it.
I would recommend this to anyone to help keep track of their cycles.
If they’re trying or not. Cos the temp part I feel tells loads about your cycle!
I’m still using it now, it’s just habit to wake and take my temp.
They could make some slight improvements, but after using for a month, you get used to it.

Amazing

Highly recommend this app. Never tried temping before but it’s foolproof using this app and helped me find my ovulation date as I have a longer cycle than the usual 28 days. Also love the light box feature on this app as well as the pregnancy monitor. Just love it and has helped me conceive!

Realistic and educational

In my nearly 4 years of ttc, I’m sorry I found this so late. It doesn’t look as user friendly and appealing as some of the others, but it is so much more realistic and doesn’t give you false hope like many others do, it is honest and seems more scientific, which appeals to me. Helps you to learn about your body and the changes you experience throughout your cycle, and the charts show all of your info in one place which is easier to interpret. It could look a little more up to date, which is the only reason I haven’t given 5 stars. So glad I found it and would recommend to anyone trying to conceive or who just wants to understand what’s going on in there every month!

In depth insight into your own fertility

I had tried other apps and found they didn’t really offer more than a place to keep information.
FertilityFriend is next level. It has many interactive features and particularly useful automatic functions.
The app automatically calculates your ovulation date based on your input, it also indicates a “cover line” which helps to show your temp shift.
It can give detailed feedback regarding the probable accuracy of your temps, timing of intercourse, predicted cycle length and ovulation dates.
I was anovulatory and the graphs FF produced for me allowed me to show that to my ObGyn. I’ve just had my first confirmed ovulation and it’s my use of FF that has made me so confident.
Wouldn’t use any other app now. Using FF premium.

Perimenopause use 👍🏼

I've been using this app for several years through trying not to conceive, trying to conceive and fertility treatment (failed). I let my membership lapse after I started getting perimenopausal symptoms (I'm 40) and went on the quest to try menopause specific trackers. Eventually I rejoined fertility friend as it allows me to track MY personal symptoms by inputting them into the app myself. As with gynaecological and fertility issues, having an accurate diary of each day and trend reports to hand can help clinicians to identify the issues and get you the help you need earlier. Keep up the great work FF ❤️

Best fertility app ever

I started using this app long before we were ready for kids. It gave me a thorough understanding of my body. By the time we were ready to have a baby, we were able to time it precisely and got pregnant in the first month of trying. I love this app. All through when my cycle length changed over the years, the charts I could look back at to see trends... I recommend this for all women who eventually intend to have kids.

Best fertility app on the market

Fertility friend is definitely the best fertility app for me. It’s really complete and technical, which is exactly what I wanted.
I quickly bought the premium version (very regularly available at -40%) and it helped me and guided me a lot! I cannot recommend it enough.
Probably not as fancy and pretty as other apps but so much more complete and helpful.

Excellent app when TTC tried and tested! With success :)

This is my second time using FF as we conceived our first baby with the help of FF in 2014. We are now trying for our second baby and it’s my first choice in apps for tracking my cycles and feeling like I have full control to optimise our chances of conceiving.

This app used to be fantastic. Features are really good but now the majority has to be paid for which I would understand but the prices are too high in my opinion. Three star review is because I would give it 5 for its features but 1 because of price so I’ve gone in between.

Best fertility app I’ve used

Been using this app (VIP) for just over a month and I really like it. It takes data from years of entries and helps interpret your signs. I feel like I’m in control of my ttc experience. There is also a large community of other women to help and support you.

Good

I like the app but I got pregnant whilst into a VIP package that ran out before end of pregnancy and was unable to view pregnancy mode without paying again but didn’t think good enough to warrant that. Not sure whether to pay for vip again or not now we are just starting to ttc again... VIP features are really very good but essentially not necessary.

Only app I’d use.

I have sucessfully been able to track my cycles both pre-pregnancy & post-pregnancy. My cycles are irregular so its handy to note down & see if im ovulating etc.

Best fertility app I've tried

I have tried a few fertility apps but this one certainly is the best. I have been trying to conceive for a year now but only recently stumbled onto this app, with its explanations and quizzes I feel I understand how to read my body the best I could do and realised I have not truly understood or timed my fertile window very well on previous months, well I'm armed with the knowledge now!

Best Fertility tracker app

Since I have PCO syndrome, I have used a several fertility apps and devices to track my ovulation. This one is the best one so far. It has very useful and complete information and detailed tips to teach you how to track your fertility cycles. Very satisfied!

This App helped me track my periods first I then used it to TTC and I learnt I ovulated late along with the use of ovulation sticks. The App is well designed and equipped to use alongside methods of TTC.
